PROF MUNKONGE ACCORDED OFFICIAL FUNERAL, HH DECLARES THURSDAY NATIONAL
MOURNING

President Hakainde Hichilema has accorded an official funeral to medical practioner, entrepreneur and trainer Prof. Lupando Munkonge who died last week.
President Hichilema has since declared Thursday, March 31, 2022, as a day of National Mourning in honor of Prof Munkonge’s immense contribution to the medical field.
He was a shareholder in Hilltop Hospital and co-founded Zambia’s first private medical university, Apex.
