SADC COÑGRATULATES TSHISEKEDI ON HIS DRC RE-ELETION
SADC extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo on his re-election as the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the elections held on 20 December, 2023.
The Constitutional Court of the DRC on 9th January, 2023 confirmed the President Tshisekedi’s decisive victory to serve for a second term, having amassed 73.47% of the votes.
The SADC family looks forward to working with the DRC in promoting peace, security and prosperity of the DRC and the SADC region as the President, who is also the Outgoing Chairperson of SADC, embarks on his second term in office.
