The wishful presidential candidate for the opposition PF, Chishimba Kambwili has warned government that their “sarcasm and arrogance” will not save them.

Kambwili said the government should focus on providing services to the citizens.

He accused Chushi Kasanda, the government spokesperson of being sarcastic.

This followed remarks by Kasanda who criticized Kambwili for insinuating that the money meant for drugs was diverted to support free education.

“And comrade Chushi Kasanda, you know, when I said that there is an allegation that the money to procure drugs was diverted to support free education, I did not affirmatives say that this is what has happened. I said may we have a statement from government,” he said.

“And for you to say a statement from Chishimba Kambwili was a figment of his own imagination its being sarcastic to say the least. And let me advise this government, that you see, sarcasm and arrogance will not save you. What we need is to provide the service.”

And Kambwili said he was worried that government brought Director of Media and Spokesperson in the Ministry of Information and Media Thabo Kawana to speak on National Issues.

“It appears this young man does not even understand what he talks about and he is messing up the government. Because every time he sees that there is an issue somewhere he goes to visit there,” he said.
