SHIWANG’ANDU COUPLE ON THE RUN AFTER KILLING BABY DURING A FIGHT
A couple in Reuben village in Shiwang’andu District of Muchinga Province is on the run after their one-month and three weeks old baby they fell on during a fight died instantly.
They have been identified as Shadrick Chanda and Rabbeca Mbikiloni aged 50 and 45 respectively.
Muchinga Province Police Commissioner Kaunda Mubanga has confirmed the incident to Chete Fm News.
This occurred on Monday when the couple reportedly picked up a quarrel around 01:00 Hours in the bedroom of their two-roomed grass-thatched house while the infant was sleeping.
The matter was reported to the police by their neighbor whom they informed about the misfortune.
Police visited the scene and the body of the baby was found lying upwards in the bedroom with no noticeable injuries.
A Man-Hunt has since been launched to bring the two fugitives before the law.
