TRUST THE PROCESS, HICHILEMA IS FIXING.
Western Province Minister, Kapelwa Mbangweta, called on people of Nalwei ward in Nalikwanda constituency to trust President Hichilema’s way of fixing the economy.
Mr Mbangweta, who is also Western Province Chairperson, said President Hichilema, like a professional mechanic, has the right tools to fix the economy.
He said it is important that adequate time is given to the head of state as he fixes the country’s economy, which was left in a bad state by the previous regime.
This came to light on Sunday afternoon when a team of UPND leadership led by National Youth Chairperson Gilbert Liswaniso held a rally in Nalwei ward to drum up support for Mongu Mayoral candidate Nyambe Muyumbana.
And Gilbert Liswaniso explained to the electorates that besides the prices of some commodities going up, the President is committed to improving the lives of Zambian at household level.
“Let’s support President Hakainde Hichilema. I know the price of fuel and other commodities have gone up, but know that your President is working hard to ensure that things normalize.
New road works, free education, and construction of schools show that President Hichilema is committed and means wells to this country.
Social cash transfer was only a preserve for PF supporters; now, anyone who is eligible can benefit,” said Mr Liswaniso.
National Youth Chairman also advised the Mongu Mayoral candidate Nyambe Muyumbana to put the interest of the people first.
“These people you see gathered here took President Hakainde Hichilema to state house; there are the ones who are giving you the Mayoral office through their vote.
I advise you to respect these people; they are the ones with the power, especially the women.” advised Liswaniso.
