‘UPND Alliance focused, solidly behind HH’

UPND Alliance Council of Presidents says isolated voices from the ranks or outside who seek personal agendas risk losing a collective shared greatness.

And All People’s Congress Party (APC) president Nason Msoni says the organisation remains a member of the UPND Alliance.

UPND Alliance spokesperson Daniel Shimunza wants the organisation’s partners to avoid using short-cuts to air their grievances, but democratic and mature ways devoid of divisive tones.

At a press briefing yesterday, Mr Shimunza said challenges, misunderstandings and threats of division are poised to destroy the partnership.

He said from time to time, isolationist voices will rise to promote selfish agendas, but the alliance remains focused and in support of President Hakainde Hichilema.

“The Council of presidents is solidly resolved to reaffirm our unreserved support of President Hakainde Hichilema as our winning choice candidate and now Republican President.

“Our resolve as a tested alliance is based on our common aspiration to liberate the Zambian people from disunity, gross corruption and economic failures under the previous brutal regime
