UPND AWARE OF CIVIL SERVANTS WORKING AGAINST GOVT EFFORTS OF DEVELOPING THE COUNTRY

UPND Secretary General Batuke Imenda has charged that the party is aware of people who are in government trying to undermine and frustrate government’s efforts of developing the country.
Mr. Imenda says the UPND government does not want to be vindictive, but inclusive and are ensuring that there is a systematic change by taking a mature approach towards such individuals, which he says should not be taken for granted or seen to be failing.
He has told Phoenix News that the party knows the people who are proving to be difficult in the system and are taking advantage of President Hakainde Hichilema’s leniency.
Mr. Imenda says the party is taking into consideration concerns raised by the public on some public service workers who have been in the system for a long time and want to frustrate government efforts adding that sifting of such individuals will be done in a manner that will not be seen as politically biased.
