WHY IS PF PANICKING ABOUT THE UPND ALLIANCE?

The Candidates’ Comment

From the day the United Party for National Development (UPND) entered into an alliance with the Zambia We Want movement comprising of Kelvin Fube Bwalya (KBF) and Felix Mutati, we have seen so much panicking from the Patriotic Front (PF) and it’s surrogates.

For some time now, PF has told Zambians that Kelvin is a failed political non-entity without influence anywhere. The PF Secretary General Davis Mwila and indeed many senior officials of the ruling party have openly asked Kelvin to form his own party and face them on the ballot.Equally, when Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) was launched, the PF called it a one-man party whose leader Felix Mutati has no significance anywhere.

Today, PF are spreading all sorts of lies and propaganda against the members of the newly formed Alliance. The truth is that more than ever, the PF is horrified. They’re dead scared of what has been formed in that alliance. For some time, Hakainde Hichilema has lacked on his side people who can supplement his own potency in these Elections. He now has Kelvin to his hand. We all know how Kelvin has played an important role in PF winning power in 2011, 2015 and 2016. We cannot doubt his own vast experience in election handling. We also know that Felix has so much experience in politics from his MMD heydays to even 2016 when he supported the PF. Given this background, we know that PF are in deep problems because the UPND Alliance seems to have attracted a better crop of political prostitutes than the political prostitutes whom the PF have attracted. Can you compare Kelvin Fube Bwalya – KBF to Richard Kapita?

Yes, we do not agree with the migration of these political prostitutes from one party to another based on their prostitution but we can’t deny them credit for their potency and their capacity to change dynamics. The truth of the matter is that UPND has got itself a better deal of individuals than what the PF have attracted. If this is handled well, PF may not win the August elections.
