YOUR ENEMY IS NOT FAR FROM YOU
The assassination of Former President of Burkina Faso, Capt Thomas Isidore Noël Sankara.
He was assassinated by a man he called his own brother, he was assassinated by a man who lived with them in their house from their childhood,
Sankara’s father took Capt Blaise Compaoré as his own and made him his son.
Sankara’s father got his son and Blaise Compaoré enlisted into Upper Volta Armed forces the same day,
Sankara made Blaise Compaoré his Vice President when he took over the country.
But Sankara was killed and buried like a fowl by the same man who lived with them since childhood. It took the interventions of several Heads of State before he could be reburied.
