ZAMBIANS ARE TOO POLITICALLY ENLIGHTENED TO BE LIED TO BY SELFISH POLITICIANS – KAPOMA
It is naive for any politician to think that Zambians are politically conscietized and can be lied to, political analyst David Kapoma has said.
Kapoma said in interview that politicians especially from the opposition who think the Zambian people can be hoodwinked into believing the current leadership is inept, are doing it at their own peril.
Kapoma noted that all well meaning citizens, have seen what the current government under President Edgar Lungu has done is capable of doing.
He therefore stated that those claiming that they will deliver heaven on earth once voted into power are reducing their chances of winning even a parliamentary seat as the Zambian electorate are able to see through their lies.
” There is a tendency by some political players especially from the opposition to think that Zambians are politically not conscietized enough to different between mere political propaganda and reality. I wish to tell these politicians who think they can take the Zambian electorate that they are in for a rude shock as Zambians are not what they think they are. The people of Zambia are politically enlightened enough to see what President Lungu and the PF have done and they appreciate that,” Kapoma explained.
