KASAMBO APOLOGIZES OVER VIRAL VIDEO, SAYS HE HAS BEEN HIRING A HELICOPTER FOR 13 YEARS TO ATTEND TO WORK AND COMMUNITY MATTERS
By: Thomas Afroman Mwale
United Party for National Development (UPND) Mpongwe aspiring Member of Parliament Emmanuel Kasambo has apologized to the nation over a viral video in which he is seen disembarking from a helicopter and boarding a luxury vehicle, stating that the video has been taken out of context.
Mr. Kasambo said he has been using what he described as a hired helicopter for 13 years due to dilapidated roads in rural constituencies but regretted that the video was made public by his associates.
Speaking during a media briefing, the former Patriotic Front (PF) member distanced the ruling party from his status in society stressing that as a businessman he has been hiring the helicopter to meet community needs and attend business meetings in real time.
Mr. Kasambo bemoaned criticism from opposition politicians, declaring that he will not be derailed in supporting the UPND and President Hakainde Hichilema regardless of the backlash.
The UPND Provincial Management Committee Member in Charge of Mobilisation urged the public to understand that he is a busy man and will continue using the helicopter to attend to issues promptly, questioning where the problem lies in doing so.
The video has attracted criticism, with some UPND members distancing the party from Mr. Kasambo for allegedly displaying a flashy lifestyle on social media. #SunFmTvNews
Trump Preparing To Walk Away From War And Leave Iran In Control Of The Strait Of Hormuz!
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Trump has told White House aides that if further strikes on the Iranian navy and missile sites do not lead to the re-opening of the Strait of Hormuz, he is prepared to walk away from the war and leave it to the Europeans and the Arab Gulf States to deal with the problem of the Strait.
Despite all his wild claims of victory,Trump will leave this conflict knowing that no American President has led his nation to a more humiliating military defeat.
Have I not been telling you in recent days and weeks that the Americans are desperate to end the war? I see the hidden hand of JD Vance in forcing a stop to this war. He is the one sane person who opposed this war from the start. He gave the war criminal Netanyahu a tongue lashing the other day, and accused him of lying to Trump about how easy it would be to force regime change and the capitulation of the Iranians. What is happening now is playing out according to the script that Vance gave in an interview to American media over the weekend in which he said America would be out of Iran very shortly after clean-up operations finish.
All this talk of sending in the Marines and the 82nd airborne division was pure theatre. The Americans know that you can’t achieve anything with only 17,000 troops. It would be the equivalent of sending men into the coliseum to be devoured by hungry lions! Not only will victory not be achieved, a humiliating spectacle would ensue!
Believe me, the American public will turn on the terrorist Israeli state with a vengeance after this military disaster. Israel is an artificial state which only exists economically and militarily because of American support. It is 100% dependent on America. When the public backlash against Israel happens in America, Israel is finished as a nation.
THE 1973 OIL CRISIS AND ITS IMPACT ON THE ZAMBIAN ECONOMY – WHAT ABOUT THE 2026 IRANIAN WAR?
Last night, I saw motorists being turned away from a couple of filling stations on account of lack of fuel.
A chat with a couple of motorists revealed that the commodity was in short supply.
I bit my lower lip as some people do to signal a moment of reflection on a sudden development.
In journalism, you learn to place stories in their larger context to facilitate the reader’s comprehensive understanding.
It’s the same principle I apply in thinking about everything I see and experience.
The US/Israeli war against Iran is already claiming victims in terms of lost lives but also in oil shortages and high prices in different parts of the world.
The Hormutz Strait that facilitates the passage of 20% of the world’s oil is right in the throes of a fierce battle.
Tragically, the Houthis of Yemen have joined the war which threatens the shipping lanes in their geographical area which facilitates 12% of global commerce.
This promises to further squeeze the already squeezed global oil supplies.
Governments around the world are counting the costs. Zambia’s too. Exactly how and to what extent, only the Zambian government knows.
As much as transparency is demanded in such instances, the Zambian government, like any other around the world must walk a tight rope – between providing information just enough to facilitate public preparedness and avoiding panic, on the other hand.
There’s no standard formula for striking a balance in such matters.
But whatever the case, these developments always have impact of varying degrees and depending on distinct factors
In 1973, oil-producing countries placed an oil embargo on countries that were supporting Israel.
Arab nations were engaged in a war against Israel at the time. The oil embargo led to more than double the prices of oil across the world.
Unfortunately for Zambia, copper prices plummeted the following year leading to lack of foreign exchange to buy fuel which was already too expensive.
It was the beginning of trouble for the mono economy. IMF interventions didn’t help.
Social and economic conditions continued to deteriorate and President Kenneth Kaunda’s political fortunes were correspondingly compromised beyond redemption.
In the current scenario, fortunately, copper prices are at their highest, so Zambia can afford to buy oil, even expensive oil.
However, unanticipated factors can always arise that could just upend our ability to stay afloat.
What do you do under the circumstances? Well, stay put and tight while watching your elected officials navigate the complex contours of geopolitics.
Leading presidential aspirant Hon. Brian Mundubile has raised alarm over Zambia’s political climate, warning the European Union election monitoring team that the current environment is not conducive for free and fair polls scheduled for August 13.
Speaking during a two-hour meeting with the EU delegation in Lusaka, the Mporokoso lawmaker and Tonse Alliance leader said Zambia’s democratic space has shrunk drastically, undermining the credibility of the upcoming elections. Daily Nation Zambia
Mundubile’s chief concern centred on the leadership of the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ), particularly its chairperson, Ms. Mwangala Zaloumis, whom he described as a “card-carrying member of the ruling UPND.”
He argued that her deep ties to the governing party, with public pictures of her wearing UPND party dresses, make it impossible for her to preside over an impartial process. She is deeply conflicted. Smart Eagles
“How does one expect Mrs. Zaloumis as ECZ chair to oversee a free and fair election? It’s impossible,” hon. Mundubile told the EU monitors.
Daily Revelation Newspaper Hon. Mundubile urged the EU team to examine reports from the US State Department, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, LAZ, and the UN Human Rights Commission, all of which have documented Zambia’s shrinking democratic space since 2021.
Mundubile emphasized that opposition parties have been barred from holding rallies, accusing President Hakainde Hichilema of forbidding public gatherings since assuming office nearly five years ago.
“Here I am as an opposition leader, and we as an alliance have never been allowed to hold a public rally. How can anyone claim we are heading into a free and fair election?” he asked.
His remarks come in the wake of mounting legal troubles. Within days, Mundubile was arrested and charged with cybercrimes, then questioned over alleged irregular government payments to his companies for roadworks.
Analysts fear these cases, coupled with the confiscation of his passport and phones, may be part of a broader attempt to remove him from the ballot just months before the polls.
Mundubile warned that Zambia’s democracy has never been so degraded since the return to multiparty politics in 1991. “An election date is not the election,” he told the EU monitors. “The election is the process leading up to August 13, and in Zambia, democracy has shrunk.”
Observers note that Zambia, once hailed as a democratic beacon in Southern Africa, now risks sliding into authoritarianism under Hichilema.
With the EU team on the ground, Mundubile’s appeal underscores the urgency of international scrutiny to ensure that the polls reflect the will of the people rather than the weight of repression.
BANDA RESIGNS AS SOCIALIST PARTY EASTERN PROVINCE CHAIRMAN AHEAD OF 2026 POLLS
Petauke… Tuesday March 31, 2026
The Socialist Party (SP) has suffered a setback in Eastern Province following the resignation of its Provincial Chairman, Mabvuto Banda, who has also relinquished his party membership with immediate effect.
In a resignation letter dated 1st March, 2026, and addressed to party president Dr. Fred Mmembe, Mr. Banda cited personal reasons for his decision, describing it as ‘a matter of personal conviction’ and emphasizing that the circumstances surrounding his departure are private.
“I hereby tender my resignation from my position of Provincial Chairman Eastern Province and party membership with immediate effect,” Mr. Banda stated.
While maintaining discretion over the specifics of his exit, Mr. Banda reflected on the broader challenges within political life, noting that sustaining a political career is complex and influenced by various dynamics.
He highlighted the importance of aligning both personal and party objectives in achieving meaningful political outcomes.
Mr. Banda also raised concerns about the party’s current trajectory ahead of the 2026 Zambian General Elections, suggesting that progress has been slower than expected.
“My personal assessment at the moment shows that the pace at which we are moving is far from making significant positive results, impact and being able to face a competitive race,” he said.
Despite his concerns, Mr. Banda expressed gratitude to the party leadership for entrusting him with the provincial role and extended well wishes to the leadership as they continue their political efforts.
“I wish you and the rest of the comrades all the best as you continue striving to attain and penetrate meaningful political space,” he stated.
FORMER KASAMA MP KELVIN SAMPA JAILED 3 YEARS FOR THEFT AND FORGERY
By Josphat Hamakala
The Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has convicted and sentenced former Kasama Member of Parliament Kelvin Sampa to three years’ imprisonment with hard labour for theft by agent, possession of materials used for forgery, and possession of forged banknotes.
This is in a matter where Sampa was accused of defrauding two Japanese nationals, Kunihiro Fugishima and Satoshi Sakamoto, in a transaction involving the purchase of gold.
In delivering judgment, Magistrate Irene Washimanga acquitted Sampa on the first count of theft of $70,000, stating that the prosecution failed to prove the offence beyond reasonable doubt.
However, the court found him guilty on the second count of theft by agent involving the sum of $80,000, and on the third and fourth counts of possession of forged banknotes and possession of materials used for forgery, stating that the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.
During mitigation, the defence told the court that Sampa is a first offender, was remorseful, is a family man, and a leader in society, having served as Member of Parliament for Kasama. The defence urged the court to consider a non-custodial sentence.
However, after considering the mitigation, the court sentenced him to three years’ imprisonment with hard labour, effective today.
Fight Inequality Alliance Zambia, alongside a coalition of Zambian Civil Society organisations, has rejected the US health-minerals pact and demanded full transparency.
FIA Zambia National Coordinator, Mputa Ngalande, has expressed alarm over a reported “health-for-minerals” arrangement between Zambia and the United States of America.
Ngalande states that the deal reportedly links vital HIV/AIDS health assistance to the USA’s expanded access to Zambia’s strategic mineral reserves, such as copper and cobalt.
He highlights that the United States has proposed providing $1 billion in health funding over five years, contingent upon Zambia entering an agreement related to mining cooperation.
Ngalande has however noted that the linkage between humanitarian aid and the extractive sector raises serious concerns regarding national sovereignty, transparency and long-term economic stability.
Ngalande says if the deal materialises, it will derail intergenerational equity, making it impossible for future Zambian generations to benefit from mineral wealth and keeping the nation in an intergenerational poverty cycle.
He has highlighted that the agreement requires Zambia to surrender sensitive health data, pathogen samples, and genetic data for up to 25 years, despite the funding only lasting for five.
Ngalande says the arrangement appears to undermine the Minerals Regulation Commission Act 2024, by negotiating mineral rights outside the established regulatory framework.
He says lack of official disclosure has created an information vacuum, leaving citizens and oversight institutions unable to assess the implications of the deal.
Ngalande has called on government to immediately make the full agreement public and subject the agreement to rigorous scrutiny by Parliament and oversight bodies.
Breaking News : Poland Refuses to Deploy Patriot Air Defense Systems to Middle East, Prioritizes NATO Eastern Flank Security
Poland has firmly rejected the possibility of sending its Patriot air defense systems to the Middle East, emphasizing that its current deployments are critical for national defense and NATO commitments.
Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that Poland has no plans to relocate its Patriot batteries, underscoring their role in safeguarding the country’s airspace and strengthening NATO’s eastern flank.
“Our Patriot batteries are used to protect Polish skies and NATO’s eastern flank. We have no plans to relocate them anywhere,” the minister said, reinforcing Warsaw’s strategic priority of maintaining robust air defense capabilities amid ongoing regional security concerns.
The statement follows media reports suggesting that the United States Department of Defense had explored the possibility of redeploying a Polish Patriot battery to the Middle East. However, no official confirmation of such a request has been publicly issued by U.S. authorities.
Poland currently operates a limited number of Patriot systems, which form a key layer of its integrated air and missile defense network. With heightened tensions in Eastern Europe and the continued need to deter potential threats along NATO’s eastern border, Warsaw appears unwilling to reduce its defensive posture.
This development highlights the growing strain on Western air defense resources, as allied nations balance commitments between Europe and the Middle East.

Breaking News : U.S. Air Force Deploys Replacement E-3G Sentry AWACS to Saudi Arabia After Missile Strike Loss
In a significant operational update, the U.S. Air Force is set to deploy another E-3G Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft to Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.
The deployment comes as a direct replacement for aircraft 81-0005, which was reportedly destroyed in a ballistic missile strike carried out by the IRGC Aerospace Force on March 27.
The incoming AWACS platform is expected to arrive at Prince Sultan Air Base on Friday, restoring critical airborne surveillance, command, and control capabilities in the region amid ongoing tensions.
Fourth Iranian Missile Intercepted Over Türkiye NATO Confirms Airspace Breach
Türkiye’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that another guided missile launched from Iran was intercepted after entering Turkish airspace.
The interception was carried out by NATO air defense systems in the eastern Mediterranean, marking the fourth such incident involving Iranian missiles
Authorities have not disclosed the exact location of the interception or whether any debris caused damage or casualties. However, repeated incidents are raising serious concerns within the alliance.
The situation has also drawn attention to sensitive locations such as Incirlik Air Base, a key military base linked to U.S. operations.
Iran continues to deny deliberately targeting Türkiye, stating that any such incident may be the result of technical errors during ongoing military operations.
Trump Reportedly Open to Ending Iran Campaign Even if Strait of Hormuz Remains Closed
U.S. President Donald Trump has told senior aides that he is willing to end the ongoing U.S. military campaign against Iran even if the strategically critical Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
The report, later cited by Reuters, indicates that reopening the strait through military means is not currently viewed as an essential condition for ending the conflict. Instead, the administration appears to be prioritizing limiting the duration and scope of the war, with concerns that a prolonged effort to fully secure maritime access could significantly extend military operations.
The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical energy chokepoints, handling a substantial share of global oil shipments. Its continued disruption carries significant implications for global energy markets and international trade flows.
While this reflects internal deliberations rather than an official policy announcement, it signals a potential shift in U.S. strategic objectives, focusing more on conflict containment than complete restoration of regional maritime stability.
INVISIBLE BOATS: Iran 🇮🇷 is making boats out of fiberglass. The shell on the top of a helmet or a car bumper is made of that. It’s like not having iron or steel. Very little.
Fiberglass is thin. It weighs nothing. Small. The boat is 50-60 feet long. As a result, the speed is high. It’s like a Boishakh storm! It comes in the blink of an eye, and disappears in the blink of an eye!
.
Since there is no metal or steel, radar waves don’t reflect that much. Whatever is reflected – it’s not straight. It spreads around. On the other hand, this fiber can absorb radar waves. As a result, the radar can’t tell if it’s a boat or a water wave. It’s often fooled because it’s small.
Another is a semi-submersible boat. 80-90% of it is underwater. That means it’s like we keep our nose up and our body submerged. It can also keep its body submerged by taking out its antenna – if it sees the risk!
They go around with anti-ship missiles in their boats. There are also small torpedoes. The ones that America used to sink Iranian ships, on their way from India. That’s a water missile. It goes underwater and boom!
Being small, it attacks big ships like bees. I mean, it surrounds them. If you can sting one bee, you can kill it with a single blow. But if you have ten or twenty, maybe two. The rest will be killed by the ants.
Similarly, this swarm attack.
So the ship’s defense system cannot take the load of this attack. It hangs like Obaidul Quader.
Iran has harassed many ships with these swarm attacks many times.
They mock American ships. They suddenly appear from nowhere, make a splash around them, and quickly flee.
What a situation!
That’s why the West has named them ghost boats. It means ghostly boats. Not from the League; That’s Iran.
This upgrade of the Ghost Boat is Iran’s own!
Let’s not even talk about drone boats. These require humans. That kills without humans!😁
They knew that Hormuz might need to be blocked one day.
What would happen if it were blocked, what kind of attack would be carried out, how and with what – they upgraded the Ghost Boat based on that calculation and engineering, which proves that they were ready for war long before America could even imagine!
EXPOSED: THE “HELICOPTER CADRE” — KASAMBO PLOT TO UNDERMINE HH LAID BARE
What once appeared to be flamboyant political enthusiasm has now unraveled into something far more calculated—and deeply deceptive.
The man trending for his flashy helicopter appearances, parading in UPND regalia and projecting himself as a loyal supporter, has been unmasked as none other than Emmanuel Kasambo—a staunch Patriotic Front (PF) operative and known ally of former President Edgar Lungu.
Kasambo is no stranger to PF politics. In 2021, he was adopted as a parliamentary candidate under the PF ticket in Mpongwe on the Copperbelt. His sudden “defection” to the United Party for National Development (UPND) just three months ago now appears less like a genuine shift—and more like a strategic infiltration.
Sources within PF circles have said that Kasambo has repeatedly vowed to bring down President Hakainde Hichilema, openly expressing lingering resentment and a determination to settle political scores. His recent theatrics—flying in helicopters, donning UPND attire, and loudly displaying UPND party symbols—are now been seen for what they are — as a deliberate attempt to misrepresent and embarrass the ruling party.
Those who know the matter well, have said that this calculated show of excess is designed to create public outrage—painting a false picture of UPND members as extravagant and disconnected from the struggles of ordinary Zambians. In reality, many within the UPND party view such behavior as alien to their values, raising further suspicion about his true motives.
But if the intention was to deceive, it has backfired spectacularly.
UPND members and supporters, increasingly alert to political maneuvering, are said to be watching closely—able to detect what they describe as “masqueraders” from a distance. And in this unfolding drama, Kasambo now stands fully exposed, his actions scrutinized as part of what UPND Members believe to be a broader, desperate attempt to destabilize the party ahead of the August elections.
Whether calculated sabotage or political miscalculation, one thing is clear: the mask has slipped.- Elly Katu
PF STRUCTURES COLLAPSING — BM8 & TONSE GAIN MOMENTUM
The collapse of the Patriotic Front structures across the country is now happening at a frightening speed in the aftermath of the High Court ruling that has effectively placed the PF leadership wrangles in limbo.
As earlier predicted, PF grassroots structures are abandoning the collapsing party machinery and moving into the Tonse Alliance under the leadership of Brian Mundubile.
The latest political earthquake has struck Luanshya, Kitwe, Kalulushi, Chingola, and Mufulira, where the remaining PF structures at both Constituency and Ward levels are now effectively collapsing into the Tonse Alliance.
But the biggest and most devastating blow has come from Luanshya. The entire PF District Executive in Luanshya has abandoned the party.
The District leadership, headed by former Deputy Mayor and 2021 Luanshya Parliamentary Candidate Golden Mulenga, together with his 72-member District Executive, and joined by all Constituency and Ward officials from Roan and Luanshya Constituencies, have resolved to dissolve themselves into the Tonse Alliance.
Confirming the dramatic development, PF District Mobilisation Chairman and former District Commissioner Patrick Maipambe said the members convened following the latest court ruling in the PF legal battles and unanimously resolved to join the
growing BM8 political movement.
“All the PF officials at District, Constituency and Ward level resolved unanimously to move to BM8 and Tonse because it is now clear after the Court ruling that we are wasting our time,” Maipambe said.
“Remember this group has waited for five years. We even participated in the recent Convention, but we can no longer wait,” he added.
In another telling development, a number of officials from Kitwe, Kalulushi and Mufulira, most of whom were delegates at the recent Convention, were seen in Chingola where the Tonse leader was attending church engagements with the United Church of Zambia and the Catholic Church a clear endorsement of his leadership.
The message from the grassroots is becoming clearer with every passing day:
The ground has shifted. The structures are moving. And the political center of gravity is rapidly consolidating around BM8 and the Tonse Alliance.
The question now is no longer whether PF structures will move.
It is how many will still remain standing when the dust finally settles. 🔥
🇿🇲 BRIEFING | Mpundu’s Sedition Case Delayed After Defence Lawyers Withdraw
The seditious practices case involving Nkana Member of Parliament Binwell Mpundu has taken a new turn after his legal team formally withdrew from representing him during proceedings in Lusaka.
Lawyers Norman Siwila and Leone Lemba informed Magistrate Webster Milumbe of their decision shortly after cross-examining a state witness, citing what they described as “professional differences” with their client. The withdrawal leaves the lawmaker temporarily without legal representation at a critical stage of the trial.
Following the development, Mpundu appealed to the court for time to reorganise his defence, a request that was granted. Magistrate Milumbe subsequently adjourned the matter to April 20, 2026, when the trial is expected to resume.
The sudden exit of the defence team introduces a layer of uncertainty into the proceedings, particularly as the case progresses into more substantive stages. Legal continuity is often critical in cases of this nature, and any disruption can affect both strategy and timelines.
After the session, Mr Mpundu addressed his supporters outside court, urging calm as the matter continues through the judicial process.
Israel Signals It Will Not Join Potential U.S. Ground Offensive in Iran
Israeli media reports indicate that the Israel Defense Forces is unlikely to participate in any large-scale ground operation inside Iran, even if the United States proceeds with such a move.
Despite close coordination at both strategic and aerial levels, Israel is said to be reluctant to deploy ground troops into Iranian territory. The stance reflects a cautious approach toward deeper military entanglement beyond its current operational scope.
Sources point to growing differences between Washington and Tel Aviv over the scale of military action. While Israel is pushing for the complete dismantling of Iran’s nuclear and strategic infrastructure, the U.S. appears focused on preventing escalation into a full-scale ground war.
Previous operations have already demonstrated a division of roles. During U.S. “Epic Fury” and Israel’s “Roaring Lion” campaigns, Israeli forces reportedly concentrated on targets in northern Iran and Lebanon, while U.S. forces handled operations in central and southern regions.
The development underscores a strategic balancing act tight cooperation, but clear limits.
Breaking News : Trump Interested in Asking Arab Countries to Help Fund the War with Iran White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt
WASHINGTON – In a significant development amid the ongoing U.S. military operations against Iran, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated on Monday, March 30, 2026, that President Donald Trump is “quite interested” in calling on Arab countries to help cover the costs of the conflict.
When asked during the daily press briefing whether Gulf states such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates would “step up” to fund the war – similar to their major financial contributions during the 1991 Persian Gulf War – Leavitt responded:
“I think it’s something the president would be quite interested in calling them to do. I won’t get ahead of him on that, but certainly it’s an idea that I know that he has, and something that I think you’ll hear more from him on.”
The comments come as the White House also reported that diplomatic talks with Tehran aimed at ending the conflict are “progressing well,” even as public statements from Iran differ from private communications.
This proposal reflects an effort to offset the substantial financial costs of the military campaign (reportedly running into tens of billions of dollars), while drawing a historical parallel to coalition burden-sharing in past Middle East operations.
Iran draws red lines: “No Pakistan talks, no direct negotiations with the U.S.”
Tehran firmly denied participating in the Pakistan-hosted peace talks and stressed it has never engaged in direct negotiations with the United States, framing current discussions as indirect efforts via mediators
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized that any path to peace must begin with acknowledging who initiated the war, while questioning the credibility of U.S. diplomacy
The message is clear—the table exists, but Iran is not stepping in directly
Satellite Analysis Suggests Iran Moved Highly Enriched Uranium to Secure Tunnels Days Before Strikes
In a significant development with major implications for global nonproliferation efforts, new analysis of high-resolution satellite imagery indicates that Iran likely transferred nearly its entire stockpile of highly enriched uranium HEU up to 540 kilograms enriched to 60% U-235 into a deep underground tunnel complex at the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center just four days before airstrikes began in June 2025.
A very high-resolution Airbus Pléiades Neo image captured on June 9, 2025 shows a large flatbed truck carrying 18 shielded blue containers resembling nuclear transport casks at the southern tunnel entrance of the underground facility. Accompanied by a crane truck and security vehicles, the convoy appeared positioned to offload cargo into fortified mountain tunnels designed to protect sensitive nuclear assets during conflict.
Nuclear experts, including François Diaz-Maurin of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and analysts at the Institute for Science and International Security, assess that the containers’ size, shielding, and capacity align closely with transport systems capable of holding Iran’s full pre-strike inventory of roughly 441 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium as previously reported by the International Atomic Energy Agency. This suggests Iran may have preemptively emptied vulnerable enrichment sites such as Natanz and Fordow, relocating the material to deeper and more protected tunnels at Isfahan, a site that sustained comparatively less severe damage during subsequent Israeli and U.S. strikes.
The timing raises critical questions about the effectiveness of those strikes. Post-strike assessments indicate that while surface facilities and some access points were damaged, the underground tunnel complex likely shielded the HEU stockpile. The IAEA has since raised concerns regarding the exact location and security of Iran’s enriched uranium, citing restricted access and continued vehicular activity around the tunnels, while lacking full verification inside undamaged sections. Iran has reportedly reinforced tunnel entrances with soil and concrete.
Technical analysis indicates that uranium enriched to 60% can be further processed to weapons-grade levels of around 90% in as little as 10 days using advanced centrifuges, although Iran’s broader nuclear program is believed to have suffered setbacks from the strikes.
Alternative explanations such as decoy materials, medical isotopes, or construction equipment were considered but are assessed as less likely given the characteristics of the containers, their positioning at a nuclear facility, and the timing shortly before anticipated military action.
This assessment is based on detailed visual and technical analysis published by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists in March 2026, supported by reporting from Le Monde and corroborating analysis from the Institute for Science and International Security.
Source: Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, with supporting reporting from Le Monde and the Institute for Science and International Security
This development highlights ongoing challenges in verifying Iran’s nuclear activities amid limited international access and underscores continued global concern over the status of near weapons-grade nuclear material.
Breaking News : U.S. Air Force Deploys Next-Generation EA-37B Compass Call Electronic Warfare Jets Toward Middle East Theater
The United States Air Force has deployed at least two EA-37B Compass Call electronic warfare aircraft toward the Middle East, in what is shaping up to be the first operational forward deployment of this next-generation platform.
Open-source flight tracking data confirmed two EA-37Bs tail numbers 19-1587 and 17-5579, flying under callsigns AXIS41 and AXIS43 transiting through RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom, with onward routing toward the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
A separate observation from late January recorded tail 17-5579 operating under callsign FAZE41, landing at Ramstein Air Base in Germany the USAF’s primary European hub and a well-established staging point for assets bound for the Middle East. The Pentagon described that earlier movement as a “roadshow” introducing the platform to NATO partners.
The EA-37B, built on a modified Gulfstream G550 airframe and developed by L3Harris and BAE Systems, is the successor to the aging EC-130H Compass Call. Its core mission is to degrade, deny, and disrupt adversary command, control, communications, radar, and navigation systems across the electromagnetic spectrum including suppression of enemy air defense networks.
Compared to its predecessor, the new platform is approximately 40 percent faster, carries double the operational range, and can operate at altitudes exceeding 40,000 feet, enabling standoff jamming from ranges the EC-130H could not achieve.
Initial operating capability for the EA-37B fleet is slated for 2026. A total of 10 aircraft are on order, with five delivered as of mid-2025. The 55th Electronic Combat Group at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, is the sole operator.
As of the time of publication, CENTCOM has not issued an official confirmation of the deployment, and the 55th Wing has declined to comment.

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇮🇱 Iran Declares Residences of U.S.–Israeli Leaders as “Legitimate Targets”
Iranian military officials have issued a strong warning, stating that residences of senior U.S. and Israeli military and political leaders could be considered “legitimate targets” in response to ongoing attacks.
A spokesperson for Iran’s central military command said the move is part of a broader retaliation strategy following strikes on residential areas inside Iran. The statement signals a potential escalation in targeting scope beyond traditional military sites.
Iran also warned that any ground invasion or attempt to occupy its territory would trigger severe consequences, claiming its forces are fully prepared for such scenarios.
The remarks come amid rising tensions across the region, with both sides continuing to exchange threats as the risk of wider conflict grows.
Ukraine Just Unveiled a Star Wars-Style Laser Weapon That Could Change the Entire War!
⚡ Ukraine has developed a game-changing laser weapon called Sunray – a silent, invisible beam straight out of a sci-fi movie that’s already destroying Russian drones at near-zero cost!
This compact system, looking like a simple telescope mounted on a pickup truck, burns through enemy drone electronics or severs fiber-optic tethers in seconds without firing a single expensive missile.
While Russia launches over a thousand drones weekly, Sunray offers a cheap, sustainable defense that traditional systems simply can’t match economically.
Developed in just two years on a modest budget, it’s far more affordable than Western laser programs and perfect for frontline use. Recent footage shows the glowing beam instantly neutralizing threats, even cutting cables on tethered drones that jam-proof electronic defenses can’t stop.
No bulky generators, no loud explosions – just pure directed energy silently protecting soldiers and cities. As Ukraine builds its integrated air defense dome, Sunray could be the key to countering swarm attacks and saving precious resources.
Is this the breakthrough that shifts the balance in the drone war? The world is watching this real-life Star Wars tech in action!
Breaking News : France Deploys Tiger Attack Helicopters to Middle East in Major Combat Reinforcement Move
France has deployed its advanced Tiger attack helicopters to the Middle East as part of a broader effort to strengthen its military posture and operational capabilities in the region. The deployment reflects Paris’ continued commitment to maintaining stability and supporting ongoing counterterrorism operations amid persistent security challenges.
According to available details, the French Armed Forces have positioned the Tiger helicopters as part of a rotational deployment aimed at enhancing aerial firepower, reconnaissance, and close air support capabilities. The Tiger, a highly maneuverable and combat-proven attack helicopter, is equipped with precision-guided weapons, rockets, and a 30mm cannon, making it well-suited for both high-intensity combat and asymmetric warfare environments.
The helicopters are expected to operate in coordination with French ground forces and allied units already present in the region. Their role will include providing overwatch, escort missions, and rapid-response strike capabilities against potential threats. The deployment also underscores France’s ability to project power quickly and sustain operations far from its mainland bases.
French military officials have emphasized that the move is part of ongoing efforts to adapt to evolving threats, particularly from militant groups that continue to operate across parts of the Middle East. The inclusion of Tiger helicopters significantly enhances operational flexibility, allowing French forces to respond swiftly to dynamic battlefield conditions.
This latest deployment highlights France’s continued strategic engagement in the Middle East and its intent to remain an active security partner in the region.
South Africa Braces for Record Fuel Price Surge Starting April 1 Amid Global War Fallout
President Cyril Ramaphosa has issued a stark warning that fuel prices in South Africa are set to surge to record highs starting April 1, driven by escalating global energy pressures linked to ongoing conflicts.
Speaking at a meeting of the African National Congress, Ramaphosa acknowledged that gasoline prices could rise by 5.31–5.82 rand per liter, while diesel may increase by over 10 rand per liter potentially pushing diesel prices in some areas to around 29.08 rand per liter.
The president admitted the situation is causing him “sleepless nights,” citing deep concerns over the rising cost of living. He has instructed the finance ministry to urgently develop relief measures to cushion the impact on citizens.
The surge is largely attributed to intensifying geopolitical tensions and conflicts affecting global oil supply chains, placing additional strain on already volatile energy markets.
Ramaphosa also condemned what he described as an “illegal war” involving the United States and Israel, reaffirming that South Africa will maintain its sovereignty and resist external pressure from global powers.
The development signals how far-reaching the economic shockwaves of the conflict have become now hitting energy markets well beyond the immediate war zones.
U.S. eyes special forces infiltration ahead of potential ground assault on Kharg Island
Reports suggest the United States may deploy elite special operations forces to conduct underwater infiltration missions as a precursor to a possible amphibious landing on Iran’s strategic Kharg Island
Such an operation would likely aim to secure critical oil infrastructure and disrupt Iran’s export capacity, marking a significant shift from air and naval operations toward direct ground engagement
If confirmed, this would signal a major escalation moving the conflict into a high-risk phase of covert entry followed by overt military action
Ukrainian drones hit Russia’s oil lifeline, offsetting war-driven price boom
Ukraine’s sustained drone strikes are severely disrupting Russia’s oil export capacity, cutting output by over 40%, even as global prices surge בעקבות the Hormuz Strait crisis
While rising oil prices briefly boosted Russia’s revenues further supported by temporary U.S. sanction relief attacks on key export hubs like Novorossiysk and Baltic terminals are now undermining Moscow’s ability to capitalize
The pressure is spilling into Russia’s economy, with inflation rising, businesses shutting down, and fears growing that prolonged war could trigger a broader financial crisis
Nigerian High Commission Apologises Over ‘Coronation’ Controversy in Eastern Cape
The Nigerian High Commission has apologised to Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane following backlash over a controversial cultural ceremony held in Gompo, near East London.
The event, which took place on Saturday, 14 March 2026, reportedly saw Nigerian community leader Solomon Ogbonna Eziko symbolically crowned as “Igwe Ndigbo Na East London,” sparking outrage among traditional leaders, political parties and residents who viewed it as an unauthorised coronation on South African soil.
The Eastern Cape Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, along with the House of Traditional and Khoisan Leaders, distanced themselves from the gathering, calling it an unofficial cultural event. Protests followed today, with vehicles being damaged during demonstrations linked to the incident.
In a statement, the Nigerian High Commission said the ceremony was never intended as a formal coronation, describing it as a cultural celebration that was misinterpreted due to its “pomp and fanfare.” It expressed regret over the public reaction and stressed its respect for South African traditional authorities.
The commission has called for calm and pledged to work with South African authorities to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.
BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV strikes MAGA in the teeth by announcing that God ignores the prayers of those who start wars because their “hands are full of blood.”
This is a stunning rebuke of Pete Hegseth’s shameful public remarks…
“Brothers and sisters, this is our God: Jesus, King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war. He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them,” Leo said at Palm Sunday Mass. Tens of thousands of Catholics were gathered in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican to hear their religious leader speak.
The pope has been outspoken in his criticisms of Trump’s illegal Iran War, calling it a “scandal to the whole human family” while demanding an outright ban on aerial bombardments.
“Thousands of innocent people have been killed, and many others have been forced to abandon their homes,” Leo previously stated. “I renew my prayerful closeness to all those who have lost their loved ones in the attacks that have struck schools, hospitals, and residential areas.”
The pontiff’s latest remarks are a sharp rejection of Defense Secretary Hegseth’s frothing-at-the-mouth attempts to paint this conflict as a righteous holy war waged in Jesus’s name.
“Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield in whom I take refuge,” Hegseth has said, referring to the war.
He also prayed for the U.S. military to deliver “overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy,” a particularly evil pronouncement to make as that same military is bombing school children and mass-slaughtering civilians.
Hegseth is that type of so-called “Christian” who totally rejects the teachings of Jesus Christ. His “religion” asks nothing of him, not even basic human compassion, and he uses it as a cudgel to justify every deeply immoral thing that he does.
One immediately thinks of Matthew 7:21–23 when considering Hegseth’s “Christianity.” It quotes Jesus as saying: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’”
Over 2000 years ago, Jesus of Nazareth knew that the day would come when evildoers would claim to be Christian while rejecting his core teachings. Our Defense Secretary is exactly that kind of evildoer.
MAGA world has predictably fallen to pieces over Leo’s blunt condemnation of the Trump administration’s war. They have once again taken to calling the pope a “communist” and “satanic.”
Some right-wing personalities, notably the protestant influencer Allie Beth Stuckley who boasts 584,000 followers on X, rushed to condemn Leo’s remarks by pointing to instances in the Bible where God justified war.
Stuckley pointed specifically to King David and other Old Testament leaders in particular. If one takes Christianity on its own terms and assumes that God did indeed justify war in the Old Testament, there is still a world of difference between biblical leaders like King David — who was fighting for his nation’s survival in the ancient world — and Donald Trump, a corrupt, demented pedophile who’s waging a war of choice to destabilize Iran so that Israel can gobble up more territory uncontested.
Here’s a very simple litmus test: If your version of Christianity demands that you justify the actions of a rapist conman as he murders innocent men, women, and children it’s time for you to find a new church.
Ukrainian Drone Smashes Iranian Shahed in Mid-Air at a Fraction of the Cost
A cheap Ukrainian FPV interceptor drone just rammed and detonated an incoming Iranian-made Shahed drone in spectacular fashion. First-person footage captured the precise hit, turning a slow-moving threat into a fireball.
This is battlefield reality in Ukraine’s fight against Russia: low-cost ingenuity beating expensive aggression. Shahed drones, supplied by Iran to Moscow, run around $20,000 to $50,000 apiece. Ukrainian interceptors? Often $1,000 to $2,500 each, built fast and deployed in volume.
No multi-million-dollar Patriot missiles needed here. Just smart engineering, guts, and drones that hunt other drones. Ukraine has downed thousands this way, flipping the economics of air defense on its head.
While the West debates endless aid, Ukrainians are proving you don’t need blank checks to defend your sky. You need resolve and innovation.
This clip shows why cheap, effective tools win wars, not bloated bureaucracies or overpriced hardware. Russia and its Iranian backers keep sending the hardware. Ukraine keeps knocking it down cheaper and smarter.

NATO Intercepts Iranian Missile Over Türkiye for the Fourth Time Tehran Denies Intent, Cites “Technical Error”
Türkiye’s military confirmed that NATO air defense systems intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Iran late Monday, after it penetrated deep into Turkish airspace before being destroyed over a rural area in the country’s southeast.
This marks the fourth incident in which weapons linked to the Iran conflict have landed on or entered the territory of a NATO member state.
The Turkish government issued a strong warning to Tehran, stressing that it must take responsibility for the safety of neighboring airspace. Officials stated that technical evidence has been collected, confirming both the missile’s trajectory and its origin.
Iran, however, continues to deny any deliberate targeting of Türkiye, insisting that the incident was likely the result of a technical malfunction amid ongoing military operations involving the United States and Israel.
The repeated spillover is raising alarms within NATO, as the risk of unintended escalation edges closer to alliance territory.

Air Defense Under Pressure as Israeli Systems Face Increasing Penetration Attempts
The latest reported strike highlights mounting pressure on Israel’s air defense network, particularly the Iron Dome, which has been a cornerstone of the country’s missile defense strategy.
While the system has historically intercepted a large percentage of incoming threats, the scale and complexity of recent attacks including ballistic missiles and coordinated salvos are testing its operational limits.
Military analysts warn that saturation tactics and advanced missile maneuvering could increasingly challenge interception success rates, especially in high-intensity conflict scenarios.
The situation is being closely monitored as Israel evaluates potential adjustments to its defensive posture.
Mojtaba Khamenei thanks Iraq for backing Iran in war
Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, expressed gratitude to Iraq for its support in the war against the United States and Israel, according to Iranian media
In a rare written statement, he thanked Iraqi religious leaders and citizens for their clear stance against what Tehran calls foreign aggression, despite not appearing in public since taking power
His continued absence has fueled speculation, with officials claiming he is recovering from injuries sustained during earlier airstrikes, while regional alignment behind Iran appears to be quietly strengthening
U.S. military plans “large underground facility” beneath new White House ballroom
Donald Trump revealed that the U.S. military is constructing a large underground structure beneath the new White House ballroom, with work progressing ahead of schedule
He stated the facility will be part of a broader project, while the ballroom itself may serve as a cover or support space for what is being built below—though no further details were disclosed
The ambitious expansion, now reportedly reaching $400 million in funding, is raising questions about its true purpose as secrecy continues to surround the underground development
Russia expels British diplomat over “spy” allegations
Russia’s security agency, Federal Security Service, announced the expulsion of a British embassy official in Moscow, accusing him of engaging in intelligence activities that threaten national security
The diplomat has reportedly been stripped of accreditation and ordered to leave the country within two weeks, as Moscow formally notified the U.K. and warned against retaliatory measures
The move underscores escalating tensions between Russia and the United Kingdom, with repeated tit-for-tat expulsions reflecting a deepening intelligence conflict amid the ongoing Ukraine war
U.S. bases hit across 7 countries as Iran escalates strikes. pressure builds on Washington
The war entering its second month is placing heavy strain on U.S. forces in the Middle East, with reports indicating over 13 American bases across seven countries have been repeatedly targeted by Iranian missiles and drones
A major incident on March 27 at Prince Sultan Air Base left multiple U.S. troops injured and caused significant damage to military assets
Strategically, the reported destruction of a Boeing E-3 Sentry (AWACS) marks a critical blow, alongside damage to F-35 aircraft and the loss of several F-15E fighters—raising concerns about the limits of U.S. air defenses under sustained attacks
With more than 50,000 troops deployed across the region, confirmed casualties are increasing, placing growing pressure on Donald Trump
Washington now faces a critical choice: escalate into a full ground war to decisively strike Iran, or endure a prolonged conflict where high-value assets remain under constant threat
🇪🇬🇷🇺 Egyptian Rescue Tugs Race to Tow Stricken Russian LNG Carrier “Arctic Metagas” After Drone Strike in Mediterranean
A high-risk maritime rescue operation is underway after the Russian LNG carrier Arctic Metagas was severely damaged in a drone and unmanned vessel attack in the Mediterranean Sea on March 3.
The vessel, reportedly carrying over 100,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas, was left drifting for weeks between Malta and Italy before being located approximately 62 miles off the Libyan coast. Heavily damaged and listing to one side, the ship is now being towed by Egyptian rescue vessels in a race against time.
Initially feared sunk, the tanker remains afloat but poses a serious threat to both maritime navigation and the environment due to its unstable condition and volatile cargo.
The operation involves coordination with Libya’s National Oil Corporation and Italian technical teams, aiming to secure the vessel at a safe port and offload its cargo before a potential disaster unfolds.
The incident highlights growing risks in strategic shipping lanes, as energy infrastructure increasingly becomes a target amid escalating regional tensions.
MAKEBI’S ELECTION AS PF FACTION PRESIDENT IS QUESTIONABLE – MUTOTWE
LUNTE PF MP Mutotwe Kafwaya says PF Pamodzi is Given Lubinda’s legacy while Tonse Alliance was former president Edgar Lungu’s plan B.
And Kafwaya says his decision to remain in the Tonse Alliance is a way of honouring former president Edgar Lungu, who created the alliance as a plan B for the Patriotic Front.
Meanwhile, Kafwaya has questioned the election of Makebi Zulu as PF faction president.
Speaking on Prime TV, Saturday, Kafwaya said people should now think about coming together and rally behind Tonse Alliance president Brian Mundubile.
Kafwaya said Lungu’s solution was Tonse.
“I’m sorry to the Zambian people for what we are going through as PF members. In my view, it is something that should not happen to a political party, a political party which loses the power to govern should be allowed to decline on its own or to resuscitate but once signs of regrouping were seen, we got a promise from President Hakainde Hichilema who said you are regrouping, now I’m going to change mingalato.
I’ll make sure that if you are dancing from this side, I will dance from the other side and I’ll squeeze you so, clearly, we have seen how we have been squeezed as a Patriotic Front. Maybe I should reflect back and say, did I do enough to engage, within the Patriotic Front, regarding what has been happening and what solutions we can create for ourselves and for the people, that is a matter that can be open to a conversation,” Kafwaya noted.
“For all of you, my friends, my brothers and my sisters, my colleagues, my fellow members of the Patriotic Front and I say fellow members because when I was told that I had opted out, I rejected that option of going out of the PF. I call upon you to begin to understand that the vision of the Patriotic Front is hailed by the leadership and the leadership of the Patriotic Front has found a solution for you.
President Edgar Lungu found a solution for you by creating the Tonse Alliance. The plan B which everybody knows was based on the Tonse Alliance.
Ask any member of parliament who had a meeting with president Edgar Lungu, a meeting I attended, president Edgar Lungu did say the future is in this thing we are creating. The PF Pamodzi is honourable Lubinda’s legacy, he’s the one who created it, the Tonse Alliance is late president Edgar Lungu’s legacy, he’s the one who created it”.
He said belonging to Tonse was honouring Lungu.
“For me, belonging to Tonse is honouring president Edgar Lungu. I and many others saw where the PF was going because of imingalato and because of that, we told ourselves, let’s find a solution for the people but luckily, president Edgar Lungu saw this even earlier, this is why he created the Tonse [Alliance] and people like myself and a few others, he took us to Tonse [Alliance].
It is president Edgar Lungu, by the way, who took us to Tonse and staying in Tonse is actually honouring president Edgar Lungu and so I can’t betray him. Speaking for myself, I’ll tell you, president Lungu himself is the one who took me to Tonse [Alliance] so staying in Tonse [Alliance] is honouring him. The late president had not migrated everybody yet to the Tonse Alliance, he had migrated some people like myself and a few others. He had not yet migrated all of the people,” he added.
Asked why people should not rally behind Zulu who was recently elected as PF president, Kafwaya said he was unsure whether that was a PF convention or a non-PF convention.
Kafwaya explained that the legitimacy of the recently held Lubinda-led PF convention was questionable, as there are some things that are stipulated in the PF constitution that may have been ignored.
“But we are here now as the PF, we still need to find a solution. These court issues should come to an end. All of us should now begin to think about coming together to rally behind Brian Mundubile. Because I wasn’t in that convention, I am unsure whether that was a PF convention or a non-PF convention.
If it was a PF convention, I can raise some issues because a PF convention has got thresholds, in a PF convention, you can’t have less than 500, 000 delegates, you can’t hold a PF convention without a National Council.
The National Council is prescribed in the constitution of PF, the members to the National Council are known and Lunte [constituency] has got structures where I am an MP so if I tell you that, that didn’t happen, you can at least believe me, anybody who could have won a PF legitimate convention should be supported by all other people,” said Kafwaya.
⚖️ CONCOURT THROWS OUT DELIMITATION CHALLENGE, CLEARS ECZ TO PROCEED
In a decisive ruling, the Constitutional Court has dismissed a petition seeking to halt the Electoral Commission of Zambia’s (ECZ) ongoing constituency delimitation exercise, declaring the challenge devoid of merit.
The case was brought forward by Peter Sinkamba, Chairperson of the People’s Action for the Country’s Transformation, who argued that the exercise was being conducted in a rushed and unconstitutional manner.
Delivering judgment on behalf of a seven-judge panel, Justice Kenneth Mulife ruled that the matter was prematurely brought before the Court, effectively shutting down the bid to stop the process.
On the contentious issue of sequencing, the Court firmly held that there is no legal requirement dictating whether delimitation must come before voter registration. The two processes, while related, were deemed capable of running independently without breaching any constitutional provisions.
The Court also dismantled claims that Article 13 of the amended 2025 Constitution—which increases constituencies from 156 to 226—effectively abolished existing constituencies. Judges described this interpretation as fundamentally flawed, clarifying that the provision merely expands representation rather than nullifying current electoral boundaries. To accept such an argument, the Court noted, would imply that Parliament itself had ceased to exist—an untenable conclusion.
In its final determination, the Court reaffirmed the ECZ’s constitutional mandate, granting it full authority to proceed uninterrupted with the delimitation exercise.
The ruling marks a significant legal victory for the electoral body and solidifies the path toward restructuring Zambia’s electoral boundaries ahead of the next general elections.
UPND and Hakainde Hichilema risk wasting their years in the opposition if they repeat the mistakes of their predecessors.
If they choose to repeat them as an act of vengeance for what PF and ECL did to them, then they are abusing the mandate given to them by the public.
The public doesn’t hand over its mandate only for an elected official to use it for personal gain.
Unfortunately, examples of the latter abound and are piling up.
Imagine in Hichilema’s government, an opposition leader is accosted by law enforcement agents at the airport on his way out and interrogated!
Hichilema experienced interference with his right to movement right within his own country.
Those images are still clearly vivid in the minds of Zambians. But he stayed the course because those are the kind of constitutional abuses he needed to come and change.
But for the same to be repeated under his watch is so bewildering, one wonders as to whether Hichilema understands the implication thereof.
It means he, retrospectively, is justifying what was done to him. He is also justifying in advance if the same is to happen to him when he is no longer in office.
But more painfully, he is saying his days in the opposition wilderness were wasted days.
A person who would desecrate his own sacrifices in this fashion only assumes power for personal reasons.
How else can you explain the repeat of exact scenes from a previous movie? And not a very old movie for that matter.
My earnest plea to Hichilema is for him to honor his time in the opposition and the lives of his comrades who died during the struggle against the undemocratic tendencies of his predecessor.
Honor them and respect the mandate of the Zambian people by restoring the freedoms you were denied.
