INSULTS DO NOT WORRY US, SAYS ECZ CHAIRPERSON

Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Chairperson Mwangala Zaloumis says criticism and insults directed at the commission by some members of the public do not worry the electoral body as it prepares for the 2026 General Election.

Speaking shortly after attending Mass at St John’s Catholic Evangelist Parish in Kasama, Ms. Zaloumis said criticism would always exist in a democratic society but stressed that the commission remained focused on carrying out its mandate for the benefit of the Zambian people.

She said the ECZ would not be distracted by negative remarks, stating that the commission’s priority was to ensure that it continued doing what was right for the country as preparations for the 2026 polls intensified.

Ms. Zaloumis also urged members of the public to pray for leaders instead of fighting them, noting that such support was important in helping leaders provide effective leadership.

“Criticism will always be there, but our focus is on doing what is right for the Zambian people,” she said.

Meanwhile, Parish Chairperson Evans Kambole expressed gratitude that the ECZ Chairperson had attended Mass with the congregation, describing the visit as encouraging for the church community.

Earlier, Ms. Zaloumis revealed that her visits to six provinces so far, as the commission continues receiving provincial delimitation reports, had shown that many stakeholders were requesting more constituencies than the 70 provided for in the Constitution.

She explained that the commission had received numerous submissions from members of the public seeking additional constituencies beyond the constitutional limit.

Ms. Zaloumis is currently in Kasama for the Provincial Delimitation sittings scheduled for March 16, 2026, as part of the commission’s ongoing nationwide consultations on constituency boundaries ahead of the next general election.

PF-PAMODZI ALLIANCE PREPARES FOR PARTY CONVENTION AS CONCERNS OVER 2026 ELECTIONS RAISED

Lusaka, Zambia 15th March 2026

By Jack Makayi

Interim President for the PF–Padmozi Alliance and Acting President of the Patriotic Front, Given Lubinda, has directed party members across the country to prepare for the long-awaited party convention scheduled to take place within the next four days.

Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka, Lubinda said the convention marks a crucial step in strengthening internal democracy within the party ahead of the 2026 general elections. He emphasized the importance of unity and preparedness among party members as the political landscape begins to intensify.

Lubinda noted that the convention would provide a platform for the party to reaffirm its leadership structures and strategic direction as it works with its partners in the PF–Padmozi Alliance.

The Acting PF President also used the opportunity to raise concerns about the broader electoral environment as Zambia approaches the August 2026 general elections. He stated that the credibility of the upcoming polls would depend on whether they are conducted in a peaceful, transparent, and fair manner.

In his remarks, Lubinda appealed directly to Hakainde Hichilema, urging the Head of State to ensure that the electoral process upholds democratic standards and builds public confidence across the political divide.

“Leadership is defined by the legacy of the institutions one leaves behind,”Lubinda said, adding that there remains an opportunity for the country’s leadership to guide Zambia toward a path of national reconciliation and democratic integrity.

The PF official further expressed concern about the perceived independence and operational transparency of the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ), noting that confidence in the electoral body is vital for maintaining public trust in the democratic process.

According to Lubinda, concerns about the ECZ’s conduct and impartiality should not be dismissed as mere opposition grievances but rather treated as important warnings that require serious attention.

Meanwhile, members present at the press conference commended Lubinda for presenting what they described as a clear roadmap toward strengthening internal party democracy. They said the approach demonstrates the party’s commitment to resolving political differences through democratic processes before focusing on broader national politics.

The upcoming convention is expected to draw delegates from across the country as the Patriotic Front prepares its strategy ahead of the 2026 elections.

“Masuzyo Mwaiche”, out to oust Mulambo Haimbe.

IT seems elections will be hotter this year as more notable figures begin declaring their intentions to contest in the upcoming general election.

One of those well known citizens is comedian and actor Baldwin Phiri, popularly known as Henry BJ or Uncle Limbani or Masuzyo Mwaiche, whom many 2000 and older generations alike remember from television adverts.

He is also a master of ceremonies known for his versatility, humour and memorable roles in film and television.

Professionally, Phiri is a qualified chartered marketer, computer programmer and political scientist.

He has also played a leadership role with the National Theatre Arts Association of Zambia (NATAAZ).

In a statement to Kalemba, Phiri announced that he will contest the Lusaka Central parliamentary seat, currently occupied by foreign affairs minister Mulambo Haimbe, as an independent candidate.

According to him, the constituency deserves committed leadership that listens, unites and works tirelessly for the development and well being of the people.

“I step forward with a vision of progress, accountability and inclusive growth for our constituency, guided by the interests of the people above all else. As an independent candidate, my commitment is to serve the people of Lusaka Central with integrity, fairness and a voice that represents the community without fear or favour,” he said.

“Together, we can build a stronger community, expand opportunities for our youth, support local businesses and ensure that the voices of our residents are effectively represented.”

Phiri has since asked for support, guidance and prayers from citizens as he embarks on his political journey.

The information & breakdown i share below is not in the article by Mwebantu. I have used available production statistics to give a layman’s explaination for you to understand . Here goes;

a) In 2022, Kanshashi mine produced about 146 000 tonnes of Copper

b) In 2023, Kanshashi mine produced about 135 000 tonnes of Copper

c) In 2024, Kanshashi mine produced about 171 000 tonnes of Copper

In between those 3 years, about $4.7 Billion was made from Copper by Kanshashi. Then in those 3 years, the Canadian owners of the mine paid about 2.4% in royalties to the Zambian Treasury from Copper mined in Zambia at Kanshashi Mine.

US denies Iranian claim that it is behind drone attacks on Gulf nations

The United States has branded Iranian claims that the US and Israel are behind drone attacks on Gulf states as a “lie”.

Earlier today, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi suggested that the two countries could be responsible for the attacks while blaming Iran, according to the IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency.

Araghchi said the US’ Lucas drone is a “perfect match” for the Iranian Shahed, and that it is possible these drones are being used against Arab nations to “sabotage the relations of these countries with Iran”.

The Lucas drone, which stands for low-cost uncrewed combat attack system, was used for the first time in combat during the current war with Iran, and was described by the US Central Command (Centcom) chief, Admiral Brad Cooper, as a Shahed drone “made better” and fired “right back at Iran”.

Responding to these claims, Centcom says Iran has launched “thousands of drones AND missiles” at its neighbours.

“US attack drones are only targeting Iranian military capabilities to eliminate threats posed to the region,” it continues in a statement on X.

Netanyahu Shuts Down Death Rumors with Coffee and a Punchline

BREAKING: Netanyahu Shuts Down Death Rumors with Coffee and a Punchline cc

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just crushed the latest wave of fake news claiming he was dead. In a lighthearted but pointed video released today, he appears at a local coffee shop, ordering his usual and directly addressing the absurd online rumors—some pushed by Iranian sources and conspiracy accounts—that he’s no longer alive.

The clip opens with a barista asking: “How are you, sir?”

Netanyahu replies: “How are you? Shalom.”

Barista: “They say on the net that you’re actually dead?”

Netanyahu fires back: “Yes, I’m dying for coffee, you know? I’m dying for my people. Look how they behave—fantastic. Want to count the number of fingers?”

The barista: “Can you show us?”

Netanyahu holds up his hand: “Here. Here. See?”

Barista: “Very nice.”

Netanyahu: “Cheers.”

He then delivers a serious message to Israelis amid ongoing Iranian missile threats and the broader war: “Go out to get some air, but stay near a protected space. Your steadfastness is amazing—it gives strength to me, to the government, to the IDF, to the Mossad. We’re doing things I can’t share right now, but we’re hitting Iran very hard, even today, and continuing in Lebanon too. You tell me to keep going? I say to all of you—keep going too. Keep following Home Front Command instructions at all times, and also your city leaders. Always stay near a protected space. We’ll ease restrictions as much as possible. And thanks for the coffee—it’s excellent. I don’t know about the calories; that looks very dangerous to me.”

The rumors exploded after a recent press conference video where some claimed to spot “six fingers” on his hand (a classic AI glitch accusation), fueling wild theories of body doubles or assassination. His office and multiple fact-checks quickly called it baseless—Netanyahu is very much alive, active, and leading Israel’s strikes on Iranian targets.

This cheeky skit is classic Bibi: using humor to mock enemies and doubters while reminding the nation of resolve against Iran and its proxies. No dictator hides in a bunker—he’s out getting coffee and hitting back hard. Stay strong, stay near shelter, and keep the faith.

Only five countries currently have operational missiles capable of striking the continental United States mainland

Only five countries currently have operational missiles capable of striking the continental United States mainland.

– Russia — Yes, 25 minutes (land-based ICBMs like RS-28 Sarmat, Yars; submarine-launched Bulava).
– China — Yes, 30 minutes (land-based DF-41; submarine-launched JL-3).
– North Korea — Yes, 30–45 minutes (Hwasong-17/18 series, after confirmed tests reaching U.S. range).

– United Kingdom — Yes, 20–30 minutes (Trident II D5 SLBMs launched from Vanguard-class submarines when positioned in the Atlantic or nearby waters).

– France — Yes, 20–30 minutes (M51 SLBMs launched from Triomphant-class submarines when forward-deployed).

No other nations have proven, operational systems with the range and reliability to reach the U.S. mainland today. India’s Agni-V remains limited to ~5,000–8,000 km (short of the required ~12,000+ km).

Israel, Pakistan, and Iran lack ICBMs or equivalent capability—U.S. intelligence estimates Iran remains years away (potentially 2035) even if pursued.

Israel Seeks Ukraine’s Battlefield Expertise on Iranian Drones After Years of Refusing Military Aid

Breaking News : Israel Seeks Ukraine’s Battlefield Expertise on Iranian Drones After Years of Refusing Military Aid

Israel is now turning to Ukraine for assistance in countering Iranian-made drones, marking a significant shift in relations between the two countries after years of declining Kyiv’s requests for military support.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly requested a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as Israel explores cooperation with Ukraine on strategies to counter Iranian drone threats. Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk confirmed that the request for a conversation had been delivered, although the call has not yet taken place due to scheduling issues.

The outreach comes as Israel studies Ukraine’s extensive battlefield experience against Iranian-designed Shahed drones. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, Ukraine has faced repeated waves of these drones targeting cities, energy infrastructure, and military facilities. Over time, Ukrainian forces have developed practical and cost-effective methods to intercept and neutralize the drones, including techniques that reduce reliance on expensive air defense missiles.

Ukraine has effectively become one of the most experienced countries in the world when it comes to countering Iranian drone technology. Ukrainian air defense units have been forced to innovate rapidly, combining traditional air defense systems with electronic warfare, mobile air defense teams, and other tactics to deal with the persistent drone threat.

The growing Israeli interest highlights the expanding concern over Iran’s drone capabilities, which have been used across multiple conflicts and have increasingly threatened military bases and strategic infrastructure throughout the Middle East.

The development also carries political significance. For years, Ukraine repeatedly urged Israel to provide advanced weapons and air defense systems to help counter Russian missile and drone attacks. Israel largely avoided sending lethal military aid, citing concerns about escalation and the possibility that advanced technology could fall into Russian hands.

Now, as Iranian drones emerge as a growing threat in the Middle East, Israel appears increasingly interested in learning from Ukraine’s wartime experience in countering the very systems that Kyiv has been battling for years.

The Pentagon has confirmed the identities of six US Air Force airmen who died when a KC‑135 Stratotanker crashed in western Iraq on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Six US Air Force airmen have been confirmed
The Pentagon has identified the crew, including a squadron operations chief, a newly‑qualified pilot, and a boom operator remembered for his “million‑dollar smile”

Their loss has deeply affected communities in Alabama, Ohio, and beyond, as tributes pour in honouring their courage, service, and sacrifice.

The crash remains under investigation, but officials have stated it was not caused by hostile fire or friendly fire while Iranians are claiming responsibility for compromising it.

2. Capt. Ariana G. Savino, 31, Covington, Washington
3. Tech. Sgt. Ashley B. Pruitt, 34, Bardstown, Kentucky
4. Capt. Seth R. Koval, 38, Mooresville, Indiana
5. Capt. Curtis J. Angst, 30, Wilmington, Ohio
6. Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, 28, Columbus, Ohio

According to reports , their deaths bring the number of US troops killed in connection to the war with Iran to 13.

Klinner, Savino and Pruitt were members of the 99th Air Refueling Squadron, part of the 6th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey said:

“They were not only outstanding Airmen. They were our neighbours – our fellow Alabamians. May their service and that of their families never be forgotten.”

Koval, Angst and Simmons served with the 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Ohio. Governor Mike DeWine paid tribute, writing that they were trained to “transfer fuel from one plane to another in midair” and that “they served with honour.”

Klinner, an Auburn University graduate, was chief of standardisation and evaluation for the 99th Squadron, overseeing training for more than 30 aircrew members. He leaves behind his wife, Libby, and three young children. His family described him as “a devoted husband, a loving father, and the kind of person who would quietly step in to help anyone who needed it.”

Savino had recently earned her wings as a KC‑135 pilot after serving as a combat systems officer. Friends remembered her as “a source of positive energy” and “a future senior leader.” Senator Patty Murray of Washington said she was “heartbroken” and praised Savino’s courage and sacrifice.

Simmons, remembered for his “million-dollar smile,” was the only child of his parents. He graduated from Eastmoor Academy High School in 2015 before joining the Air Force as a boom operator. Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther said:

“We honour his memory as a true hero who served our country with courage and dedication.”

Pruitt served as an instructor boom operator and assistant flight chief of operations. She was promoted to technical sergeant in May 2025 and had deployed multiple times to the Middle East. Col. Ed Szczepanik of the 6th Air Refueling Wing said:

“To lose a member of the Air Force family is excruciatingly painful… Team MacDill will ensure their sacrifices and service to our nation are never forgotten.”

Koval had served for 19 years, first enlisting as a machinist before becoming a pilot. His wife Heather Nicole described him as “loving, generous, kind-hearted, smart, devoted, a fixer of all things, a real outdoorsman, and selfless.” He earned his aviation degree from Purdue University and transferred to the Ohio Air National Guard in 2017.

Angst studied aerospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati and joined the Ohio National Guard in 2015. He completed pilot training in 2022 and was deployed in support of Spartan Shield and Epic Fury. His awards included the Air and Space Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Unit Award.

The KC‑135 Stratotanker is a critical aircraft for midair refuelling, enabling jets to remain in battle zones longer. It can also be configured to carry cargo and medical patients. The Air Force has not disclosed the mission being carried out during Thursday’s incident.

Zelensky says Ukraine wants money in return for drone help in the Middle East

Zelensky says Ukraine wants money in return for drone help in the Middle East

Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine expects financial compensation and technology sharing from Middle Eastern countries seeking its help to counter Iranian-style kamikaze drones.

Zelenskyy said Ukraine has already sent specialists to the region to assist nations dealing with drone threats similar to the Iranian Shahed-136, which Russia has frequently used during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine says its battlefield experience defending against these drones has given it valuable expertise that other countries can benefit from. However, Kyiv insists the assistance should come with payment and access to advanced military technologies.

Zelenskyy added that such cooperation would help Middle Eastern nations strengthen their defenses while also supporting Ukraine’s ongoing war effort.

Canadian premier accuses Trump of starting Iran war to cover up the Epstein Files

BREAKING: Canadian premier accuses Trump of starting Iran war to cover up the Epstein Files – “As good a reason as anyone else can figure out”!

Like us, our northern neighbors in Canada are bracing for the economic impact of Trump’s illegal war in Iran, and are likewise also wondering how and why it even started.

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew has the same idea as us: it’s a desperate distraction from the exploding Epstein scandals. “I hope this war in Iran ends. Gas prices are too high, and kids are being killed for no reason. Even the Trump administration cannot explain why they’re at war in Iran right now. I mean, like the Epstein Files seems to be as good a reason as anyone else can figure out.”

Kinew said Canada wants to help the U.S.: “So stop the war, we’ll always be there to help you. We cut the gas tax. We’re going to be there to help with the cost of living, but now Donald Trump is public enemy number one when it comes to our economy and the average person keeping their head above water.”

This comes as the Epstein file dump has unleashed chaos: unredacted videos of young women (including a self-identified 15-year-old), survivor-led name lists, New Mexico probes into Zorro Ranch buried-bodies tips ignored by Trump’s DOJ, and global resignations/arrests of princes, ambassadors, CEOs, and politicians.

Trump’s war, with troops dying, bombs raining on innocent Iranians, gas spiking, and oil production halted, looks more like a cover-up smokescreen every day.

A Canadian premier calling out Trump’s motives? That’s how bad it’s gotten. While MAGA cheers endless war and blocks terror warnings, the world sees through the distraction.- Occupy Democrats

New Mexico Finally Searches Epstein’s Zorro Ranch After Years of Delay

New Mexico Finally Searches Epstein’s Zorro Ranch After Years of Delay

New Mexico authorities launched a search of Jeffrey Epstein’s former Zorro Ranch this week, acting on fresh revelations from recently released DOJ files.

The sprawling remote property, long tied to Epstein’s sex-trafficking network, had never been thoroughly examined by federal investigators despite his 2019 death.

The probe reopened in February after unredacted Epstein documents surfaced, including a 2019 anonymous email sent to a local radio host.

That email alleged two foreign girls were strangled during fetish sex and buried in the hills near the ranch on orders from Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. The sender claimed to possess videos of abuse and demanded Bitcoin in exchange.

State Attorney General Raúl Torrez directed the operation, with New Mexico State Police and local deputies assisting. The current owners cooperated fully.

This marks the first known on-site search of the 10,000-acre estate, where Epstein allegedly lured vulnerable young women and girls with false promises of jobs, education, or modeling opportunities.

Mainstream coverage confirms the search and the buried-bodies allegation as a key trigger, though those claims remain unproven and under active investigation.

Graphic online reports of organ harvesting, sperm extraction, or mass new victim testimonies exceed what official sources have verified so far.

After six years of apparent federal inaction on this site, New Mexico is stepping up. The public deserves full transparency—no more protection for the powerful. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Cuba Reaches Out to U.S. After Trump’s Sanctions Bring Communist Regime to Its Knees

Cuba Reaches Out to U.S. After Trump’s Sanctions Bring Communist Regime to Its Knees

After more than six decades of stubborn defiance, Cuba’s communist government is finally blinking. President Miguel Díaz-Canel has confirmed direct talks with the Trump administration to address long-standing differences, a move unthinkable just months ago.

The breakthrough comes amid crushing U.S. sanctions and a tightened oil blockade that have plunged the island into darkness—literally. Rolling blackouts cripple daily life, surgeries wait indefinitely without power, and the economy teeters on collapse.

Díaz-Canel’s own urgent call last week for “immediate” transformations to the economic model—granting more autonomy to businesses and municipalities, courting foreign investment, and shrinking the bloated state apparatus—shows the regime scrambling to adapt before it’s too late.

Trump’s hardline approach is working where decades of weak diplomacy failed. No endless negotiations, no concessions without results. Maximum pressure has forced Havana to the table, with reports of prisoner releases and early-stage discussions signaling the regime’s desperation.

Cuba’s leaders once boasted they would never bend to American demands. Now they’re reaching out, hoping to ease the squeeze before the lights go out for good. Freedom may finally be closer for the Cuban people—thanks to real strength, not endless talk.

Brazil blocks Trump envoy amid election interference fears

Breaking:  Brazil blocks Trump envoy amid election interference fears

Authorities in Brazil have revoked the visa of U.S. adviser Darren Beattie after he reportedly planned to visit jailed former president Jair Bolsonaro and meet his son Flávio Bolsonaro, a potential presidential candidate.

Officials warned the visit could amount to foreign interference in Brazil’s upcoming election. The country’s Supreme Court also blocked Beattie from meeting Bolsonaro in prison.

The controversy has raised tensions between Brazil and the United States, whose president Donald Trump has previously supported Bolsonaro.

“NO SURRENDER!” Iran Vows to Fight On Until Trump ‘Realises War Is Unwinnable’

Iran’s foreign minister has delivered a defiant message, insisting Tehran has not requested a ceasefire or peace talks despite escalating tensions.

In an interview on Face the Nation, the minister rejected claims that Iran is seeking negotiations, declaring that the country is prepared to defend itself “for as long as it takes.”

Tehran’s stance signals a hardening position as the conflict intensifies. The foreign minister argued that Iran will continue its resistance until Donald Trump “realises this is an illegal war with no victory.”

The blunt remarks underline Iran’s refusal to back down, framing the confrontation as a struggle it believes it can endure longer than its opponents. Officials say the country remains ready to respond to any further escalation.

The comments are likely to further inflame tensions, raising fears that the standoff could deepen rather than move toward a diplomatic resolution.

Iran accuses US and Israel of copying Shahed-136 drone to frame Tehran

Iran accuses US and Israel of copying Shahed-136 drone to frame Tehran

Iran has accused the United States and Israel of orchestrating what it calls a “diabolical plot” involving drones used in attacks across the Middle East.

According to Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the US and Israel allegedly copied Iran’s Shahed-136 drone design and modified it into a drone known as LUCAS.

Iran claims the modified drones are being used to carry out attacks in the region in order to falsely blame Tehran and justify further political and military pressure against the country.

The United States and Israel have not responded publicly to the accusations. Independent verification of Iran’s claims has also not been presented.

The accusations come as tensions across the Middle East continue to rise amid ongoing military exchanges and drone warfare between regional powers.

Iran’s Streets Erupt: Regime on the Brink as People Demand Freedom

Iran’s Streets Erupt: Regime on the Brink as People Demand Freedom

Tehran’s roads are jammed with angry crowds under cover of night, traffic at a standstill while ordinary Iranians flood the streets in what looks like the beginning of the end for the mullahs.

Patriotic voices are calling for regime change, rallying behind #MPGA — Make Persia Great Again — a clear signal that freedom-loving Iranians want out from under decades of oppressive theocratic rule.

This isn’t random chaos. Economic collapse, brutal crackdowns, the assassination of Khamenei, and recent U.S.-Israeli strikes have pushed the long-suffering people past the breaking point. Protests that started late last year reignited in February and show no signs of stopping in March.

The regime’s heavy-handed response — checkpoints in tunnels, mass arrests, internet blackouts — only fuels the fire. Iranians are done with the corruption, the poverty, the endless repression.

The world should take note: when a people rise up like this, tyrants fall. The Islamic Republic’s days are numbered. Freedom is coming to Persia, and nothing the ayatollahs do can stop it now. #MPGA

American TikToker Ethan Levins Sparks Outrage by Sharing GPS Coordinates of U.S. Patriot Systems in Israel, Urging Iran to Strike

American TikToker Ethan Levins Sparks Outrage by Sharing GPS Coordinates of U.S. Patriot Systems in Israel, Urging Iran to Strike

A U.S.-based content creator, Ethan Levins, has drawn fierce condemnation after posting precise GPS coordinates of American-operated Patriot missile defense batteries stationed in Israel, along with locations tied to Israel’s power grid and air bases. In videos circulating widely on X and other platforms, Levins explicitly called on Iran to launch missiles and drones at these sites to overwhelm defenses and inflict maximum damage

The posts, which led to a brief suspension of his X account, included details such as coordinates for Patriot systems near Palmachim Air Force Base and key electrical infrastructure in places like Ashkelon and Haifa.

Critics argue the actions cross into providing material aid to a designated enemy state during active conflict, potentially endangering American service members who operate these systems abroad.

Public reaction has been swift and intense. Multiple high-engagement posts label Levins a traitor, with calls for FBI investigation and prosecution under treason statutes (18 U.S.C. § 2381).

Supporters of strong U.S.-Israel ties point out that assisting an adversary in targeting allied American assets—especially during Iranian missile barrages—amounts to giving aid and comfort to enemies.

While some defend the posts as mere commentary or grifting for views, the consensus among outraged users is clear: broadcasting targeting data to a hostile regime crosses a bright legal and moral line. Levins’ content remains under heavy scrutiny as demands grow for accountability from federal authorities.

Netanyahu Assassination Rumors Debunked: Prime Minister Alive and Well

Netanyahu Assassination Rumors Debunked: Prime Minister Alive and Well

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has firmly rejected social media claims circulating Saturday that he was assassinated in retaliation for U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Iran.

When pressed by an Anadolu correspondent about the growing online rumors, Netanyahu’s office issued a clear response: “These are fake news; the Prime Minister is fine.”

The disinformation, heavily promoted by IRGC-linked Iranian outlets and amplified across platforms, exploited his limited recent public appearances—including a canceled meeting with a U.S. envoy—to fuel speculation.

Fact-checkers, including Snopes and the Jerusalem Post, have labeled the claims baseless propaganda, part of a broader Iranian effort to sow confusion after the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Replies to the original OSINT post show a predictable split: some users question his silence amid the conflict, while others rightly call it out as enemy psyops designed to boost morale in Tehran.

Bottom line: Netanyahu remains in command, the rumors are Iranian regime lies, and Israel continues to press its strategic advantage.

OIL, POWER AND REVOLUTION: HOW A 1950s COUP STILL SHAPES IRAN TODAY

OIL, POWER AND REVOLUTION: HOW A 1950s COUP STILL SHAPES IRAN TODAY

In the early 1950s, Iran had something rare in the region a democratically elected leader. That man was Mohammad Mosaddegh, a reformist prime minister backed by popular support and a parliament that sought greater control over the nation’s vast oil wealth.

But his push to nationalise Iran’s oil industry alarmed Western powers. In 1953, intelligence agencies from the United States and the United Kingdom secretly backed a coup that removed Mosaddegh from power.

In his place, they strengthened the rule of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah, transforming Iran’s fragile democracy into an authoritarian monarchy.

The move fuelled decades of resentment among Iranians. That anger finally exploded during the Iranian Revolution, which toppled the Shah and brought the current Islamic Republic to power.

Now, more than seventy years later, talk of regime change in Iran is once again circulating. And critics say the underlying motive may look strikingly familiar: strategic control of energy routes especially the vital Strait of Hormuz, through which a significant share of the world’s oil supply flows.

Rubio Tells EU: America Decides Its Own Security, Not Brussels

Rubio Tells EU: America Decides Its Own Security, Not Brussels

Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a sharp rebuke to the European Union amid criticism of U.S. national security actions.

In a direct statement captured on video, Rubio made clear where sovereignty stands.

“I don’t think the European Union gets to determine what international law is. What they certainly don’t get to determine — or decide — is how the United States defends its national security.”

He doubled down for emphasis: “The European Union does NOT get to decide what international law is, and they don’t get to tell us how to defend our national security.”

The comments underscore a core Trump administration principle: no foreign body dictates America’s right to protect its people and interests. Whether facing threats in the Middle East or elsewhere, the U.S. acts on its own terms—not Brussels’ lectures.

Strike Hits Key Iranian Telecom Node in Hamedan

Strike Hits Key Iranian Telecom Node in Hamedan

A precision strike targeted a major telecommunications hub in Hamedan, western Iran, on March 15, sending thick smoke rising from the multi-story facility. Video footage shows intense flames and heavy black smoke following the impact.

Reports indicate the site, including the Baba Taher Telecommunications Center, served as a critical point for the regime’s internet filtering and throttling system. Local accounts describe a sudden return to full-speed, unfiltered connectivity in parts of the area after weeks of severe government-imposed restrictions, with blackouts exceeding 240 hours in recent months.

The strike aligns with ongoing U.S.-Israeli operations aimed at degrading Iranian command-and-control infrastructure amid the escalating conflict that began February 28. No official confirmation of responsibility has emerged, but the incident further disrupts regime communications in a key western province already targeted for military sites.

Observers note the potential for reduced censorship to aid internal coordination, though broader connectivity remains heavily limited nationwide.

Iran’s Missile Barrage Collapses: Down 90%+ Since War Began

Iran’s Missile Barrage Collapses: Down 90%+ Since War Began

Iran’s ballistic missile launches have plummeted roughly 90-92% from the opening day of the conflict on February 28, 2026. Initial salvos reached hundreds of missiles daily; current rates have fallen to dozens or fewer, with some days seeing only single-digit launches.

U.S. and Israeli assessments indicate severe degradation of Iran’s capabilities. Reports confirm destruction of 60-75% of mobile missile launchers—potentially 200-300 units neutralized—leaving perhaps 100 or fewer operational. At current attrition rates, remaining mobile units could be exhausted in about six days.

Facing direct constraints, Tehran has urged Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen to intensify proxy attacks on Israeli and American targets, shifting burden to allies as its own arsenal dwindles.

While Israel faces interceptor strain from sustained defense, the sharp decline in Iranian fire volume points to a clear erosion of Tehran’s offensive reach in the ongoing war.

Israel Strikes Again: Iran’s New Intelligence Chiefs Eliminated in Tehran

Israel Strikes Again: Iran’s New Intelligence Chiefs Eliminated in Tehran

Israel has delivered another precise blow to Iran’s military leadership. The IDF confirmed a targeted airstrike in Tehran eliminated Abdollah Jalali-Nasab and Amir Shariat, senior officials in the intelligence directorate of the Khatam al-Anbiya Emergency Command.

The two men had been appointed just days earlier to replace their predecessor, Saleh Asadi, who was killed in the opening phase of Israel’s Operation Roaring Lion.

Operating directly under the Iranian regime’s top authority, they were key figures in the country’s intelligence apparatus.

The strike underscores Israel’s ongoing campaign to dismantle Iran’s command structure amid escalating conflict.

Bill Ackman highlighted the development by retweeting an alert featuring the officials marked “ELIMINATED” in both Persian and English.

IN FOUR DAYS TIME, PF Pamodzi Alliance WILL CHOOSE A NEW PRESIDENT – LUBINDA

THE LONG AWAITED PF CONVENTION TO BE HELD WITHIN FOUR DAYS

By Cecilia Kayaya Mporokoso

Patriotic Front faction President Given Lubinda says he will not tolerate further delays in holding the party’s convention.

Mr Lubinda has announced that the convention will be held within the next four days.

Lubinda expressed frustration over repeated postponements, insisting the general conference should be held immediately.

He noted that with the High Court’s March 3rd ruling in favor of Miles Sampa, Ngona’s expulsion from the party is valid. Mr Lubinda has now instructed party lawyers to address the Kabwe High Court matter that issued an injunction in favor of Ngona, whom he terms an imposter.

Mr Lubinda has also urged the UPND to hold its party convention, as prescribed on article 60 of the Zambian constitution.

He alleged that President Hakainde Hichilema’s leadership term as UPND party president expired in February 2026, therefore instead of condemning opposition political parties for not holding a convention, they too show lead by example.

Meanwhile Mr Lubinda is not confident the current leadership at the Electoral Commission of Zambia ECZ is able to deliver a credible and transparent election in 2026.

CHABINGA ACCUSES SAMPA OF FORGING DOCUMENT REMOVING HIM FROM PF OFFICE BEARERS AT REGISTRAR OF SOCIETIES

CHABINGA ACCUSES SAMPA OF FORGING DOCUMENT REMOVING HIM FROM PF OFFICE BEARERS AT REGISTRAR OF SOCIETIES

By: Thomas Afroman Mwale

Patriotic Front (PF) faction President Robert Chabinga has dismissed as a forged document a notice circulating on social media alleging that he has been removed from the party’s list of office bearers at the Registrar of Societies.

Mr Chabinga says he expects the Registrar of Societies to report Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa to the police for possible forgery investigations.

He maintained that he remains the President of the Patriotic Front, with Morgan Ngona serving as the party’s Secretary General.

Speaking during a media briefing, the Mafinga Law Maker said the recent court judgment that dismissed Mr Ngona’s application challenging his removal as Secretary General by Miles Sampa did not order any changes to PF office bearers or grant Mr Sampa authority to assume control of the party.

Mr Chabinga has since advised the Matero MP to stop misleading the public by suggesting that the Patriotic Front has been returned to their faction, insisting that he remains the legitimate leader of the party.

UPND FAKING POPULARITY – MUNDUBILE

ATTEMPTS by the UPND to fake their popularity will prove costly because Zambians will judge the head of State and his governing party based on their performance rather than staged endorsements, Brian Mundubile has said.

Mr Mundubile, the president of the Tonse Alliance has accused the President Hichilema’s handlers of orchestrating endorsements and mobilising hired crowds in an attempt to portray widespread support for the head of State and his administration.

Mr Mundubile is claiming that a recent event where councillors were said to have endorsed President Hichilema had backfired after some Councilor was heckled and his speech was brought to an abrupt end after he attempted to praise the head of State and endorse him.

He stated that it was clear that the endorsement was arranged by the President’s team without the knowledge of others and it was not surprising that the councilor’s speech was abruptly curtailed.

Mr Mundubile said several councillors from across the country had visited his office before and after the alleged endorsement event and denied organising any such meeting.

“I had councillors from Kalulushi, Kitwe, Mansa, Nakonde and Eastern Province who came to see me. After the event, they said they were shocked and did not know why someone claimed they had endorsed the President,” Mr Mundubile said.

He described the development as a sign of desperation, stating that popularity could not people be manufactured through organised endorsements.

“The only thing you do in politics is perform. When you perform, people respond. You cannot fake popularity,” he said.

Mr Mundubile stated that another event involving university students on the Copperbelt was attended by a rented crowd that had been promised money.

He claimed that some of the participants later complained after they did not receive the payments they had been promised.
Mr Mundubile said President Hichilema would not need to stage endorsements if his administration had delivered on key promises made to different sectors of the economy.

He said youths in the creative industry had expected the government to introduce reforms that would support intellectual property rights and strengthen the music and film sectors.

Mr Mundubile said such reforms could have transformed the creative sector into a viable economic industry for young

He accused the government of spending too much time pursuing political opponents rather than addressing the concerns of citizens.

He cited several opposition figures linked to the former ruling Patriotic Front whom he claimed had faced political persecution.

“As we head towards the August elections, leaders must know that Zambians will judge them on performance, not on staged endorsements,” Mr Mundubile said.

And Mr Mundubile has refuted claims that he had dubiously obtained contracts during the time the Patriotic Front (PF) was in government.

Mr Mundubile said all the contracts he secured were obtained through proper channels and followed the required procedures.

“During the PF administration, contracts were awarded through a competitive tender process. Even foreign- based companies participated in the bidding process, and only those that met the set requirements were awarded the contracts,” Mr Mundubile said. He stressed that at no point did he use underhand methods to obtain any government
contract.

“Those accusing me of wrongdoing are attempting to obstruct my political agenda. I have positioned myself to challenge the ruling United Party for National Development and President Hichilema.

He maintained that his business dealings have always been transparent and in line with the law, adding that he is ready to cooperate with any investigations should authorities require clarification.

LUBINDA SHOULD KEEP MUNDUBILE OUT OF HIS MOUTH – BM8 STUDENT MOVEMENT

LUBINDA SHOULD KEEP MUNDUBILE OUT OF HIS MOUTH – BM8 STUDENT MOVEMENT

Hon. Given Lubinda should refrain from attacking Hon. Brian Mundubile and dragging his name into unnecessary political debates.

When Bill 7 was before Parliament, Hon. Lubinda was serving as Patriotic Front faction Acting President. At that critical moment, he failed to convince or guide Members of Parliament within his ranks not to support the bill. In contrast, Hon. Brian Mundubile stayed away from the process together with other Members of Parliament who had earlier endorsed him.

It is therefore disappointing to now hear Hon. Lubinda attacking the Tonse Alliance, the Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD), and Hon. Brian Mundubile, alleging that those who supported Bill 7 have regrouped in the FDD. Such accusations are surprising, particularly considering that Hon. Lubinda himself accepted back into his camp individuals like Dr. Chitalu Chilufya, who had initially voted in support of Bill 7.

Hon. Lubinda has no moral authority to attack Hon. Brian Mundubile when he himself failed in his duties as Acting President by failing to contain and guide Members of Parliament within his own ranks during such a critical legislative process.

It appears Hon. Lubinda has a short memory. It is disappointing to see individuals we once looked up to conduct themselves below the standards expected of seasoned political leaders.

There is no need for opposition leaders to attack one another. However, if Hon. Lubinda chooses to continue on this path, we will not hesitate to respond and defend Hon. Brian Mundubile.

RETRENCHEES ENDORSE HH, PIN HOPES ON LONG-AWAITED PAYOUTS

‎RETRENCHEES ENDORSE HH, PIN HOPES ON LONG-AWAITED PAYOUTS.

‎Former government employees who were retrenched in 1997 and 1998 have endorsed President Hakainde Hichilema for the 2026 Zambian General Election scheduled for August 13.

‎Announcing the endorsement, Association of Retrenchees President James Chitimbwa said the members resolved to support President Hichilema because he is the only Head of State who has shown commitment to addressing their longstanding grievances.

‎Mr. Chitimbwa had explained that President Hichilema first engaged the group when he met them at Embassy Park Presidential Burial Site, where many of the affected workers had been gathering to press for the settlement of their benefits.

‎He says the President had promised that once elected, he would work towards resolving their concerns.

‎Mr. Chitimbwa says many of the retrenched workers are each owed close to K20 million and appealed to the government to expedite the process so that those who were unfairly retrenched can finally receive their dues.

‎Mr. Chitimbwa says the association recently held a roundtable meeting with government officials where it was agreed that the members would give the government adequate time to complete the ongoing verification process before payments begin.

‎He has praised President Hichilema for encouraging dialogue instead of litigation, noting that some former workers who opted to take their cases to court are still waiting for resolutions.

‎Mr. Chitimbwa has further stated that the association believes continued engagement with the government will help bring closure to the matter, adding that the group is confident the current administration will honour its commitments.

‎Meanwhile, Special Assistant for Mobilisation and Politics in the Office of the Secretary General of the United Party for National Development Micheal Chuzu says the delay in addressing the matter was partly due to earlier misunderstandings in which the retrenched workers were mistakenly classified as retirees.

‎Mr. Chuzu says the government is now working to ensure that the issue is properly resolved once the verification process is completed.

UPND HIGHLIGHTS FIRST-TERM ACHIEVEMENTS AS ZAMBIANS PREPARE TO RENEW THE PARTY’S MANDATE

UPND HIGHLIGHTS FIRST-TERM ACHIEVEMENTS AS ZAMBIANS PREPARE TO RENEW THE PARTY’S MANDATE

The United Party for National Development (UPND) wishes to highlight key achievements delivered during the first term of office under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema, as the country prepares for the August general elections.

From the outset, the UPND administration made it clear that development is a process, not an event. Our government set out a clear agenda in the UPND Manifesto and today we are proud to demonstrate measurable progress on the commitments we made to the people of Zambia.

Among the notable achievements of the UPND administration are the following:

• Free Education: The UPND government successfully implemented free education, enabling millions of Zambian children to access schooling without financial barriers.

• Constituency Development Fund (CDF): The CDF has been increased from K1.6 million to the equivalent of over US$1 million per constituency, with ongoing efforts pushing the allocation close to US$2 million, empowering communities to undertake local development projects.

• Farmers’ Payments: Upon assuming office, we found 258,000 farmers unpaid for over two years. The UPND government cleared these arrears and restored confidence among farmers.

• Mining Sector Revival: We promised to revive the mining sector and reverse the liquidation of strategic mines. Production has increased from slightly above 280,000 metric tonnes of copper to over 1 million metric tonnes, with the nation firmly on course toward the 3 million metric tonnes target.

• Emerald Production: Zambia has now become the leading emerald producer in the world, surpassing Colombia.

• Council Workers’ Salaries: The UPND administration cleared 7 to 15 months of salary arrears owed to 34,000 local authority workers, restoring dignity to public service.

• Timely Farmer Payments: Unlike the past when farmers waited up to two years, our government now ensures farmers are paid within the same season.

• Employment Opportunities: We removed the employment freeze and have since recruited over 45,000 teachers and 25,000 health workers, strengthening public service delivery.

• Wage Reforms: The wage freeze was lifted, and public sector salaries have been consistently increased each year.

• Youth Skills Empowerment: Over 200,000 youths have received free skills training, empowering them with practical knowledge to participate in the economy.

• Economic Growth: Zambia’s GDP growth has moved from negative 2.7 percent to 5.8 percent, reflecting a recovering and expanding economy.

• Inflation Reduction: Inflation has been reduced from over 22 percent to single digits, stabilizing the cost of living.

• Debt Restructuring: Zambia successfully restructured 94 percent of its debt, becoming the first country to achieve this under the G20 Common Framework.

• Fertilizer Production: Zambia is now manufacturing and exporting fertilizer to eight countries, with government working to further reduce prices for farmers.

• Agricultural Support: Over 1 million small-scale farmers are now covered by crop insurance, while over 500,000 women farmers are benefiting from FISP, helping sustain maize production despite drought and external shocks.

• Access to Information: The Access to Information Bill, long awaited by citizens, has now been enacted into law.

• Investment Attraction: Zambia has attracted over US$5 billion in new investments, restoring the country’s credibility as a leading investment destination.

• Tourism Growth: Tourist arrivals have grown from about 500,000 visitors annually to over 2.2 million, strengthening the hospitality industry.

• Peace and Stability: The UPND government has restored peace, stability and respect for the rule of law, moving away from the era of violence and political intimidation.

• Social Protection: Programmes such as Cash for Work and enhanced Social Cash Transfer are now realities supporting vulnerable households.

• School Feeding Programme: Government has strengthened and expanded the school feeding programme to support learners across the country.

• Industrial Development: Zambia has begun exporting batteries to eight countries, signaling progress toward value addition and industrialization.

• Restored International Confidence: The European Union and other cooperating partners have resumed budget support, reflecting renewed confidence following improved governance and the fight against corruption.

• Currency Stability: The Kwacha has at times emerged among the best-performing currencies globally, reflecting improved macroeconomic management.

These achievements demonstrate that the UPND administration has remained faithful to the commitments made to the Zambian people. While significant progress has been made, we acknowledge that there is still more work to be done. However, the country is firmly on course toward sustained development and economic transformation.

As Zambians head to the polls in August, the UPND is confident that citizens will judge the administration based on its record of delivery. We also challenge the opposition to present clear and credible alternatives to the progress that has been achieved so far.

The UPND remains committed to building a prosperous, inclusive and united Zambia.

China Shocked: Beijing Reassesses Trump After Bold U.S. Strikes in Venezuela and Iran

China Shocked: Beijing Reassesses Trump After Bold U.S. Strikes in Venezuela and Iran

Beijing is reeling from recent American military actions, prompting China’s leaders to question their long-held view of President Trump as all bluster and no bite.

In a new interview on American Thought Leaders, China expert Robert L. Suettinger, former National Security Council director for Asia and author of “The Conscience of the Party,” explains the growing unease in Zhongnanhai.

Suettinger points to the U.S. raid that captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in January and Operation Epic Fury’s decisive March campaign against Iran—neutralizing missile systems, naval forces, and Chinese-supplied defenses—as evidence of unexpected American resolve.

“I think that there has been a level of shock that the United States has not only been able to, but willing to, engage in these kinds of operational military on-the-ground matters.”

He adds that Beijing may now realize it misjudged the president.

“I think it’s probably a matter of considerable concern and discussion… that they maybe have been wrong about Trump all along and that there is more to his policies than they had given him credit for.”

“That has probably provided them with a lot of cause for concern.”

Suettinger predicts intense internal debate as China’s National People’s Congress convenes.

“It is going to be a major topic of conversation in the hallways at the National People’s Congress, in the back rooms of Zhongnanhai, and certainly in the discussions that go on within China.”

These U.S. successes have disrupted China’s strategic partnerships, cutting off Venezuelan oil flows and weakening Iranian alliances reliant on Beijing’s support. The result: a rattled Chinese leadership forced to confront the reality of decisive American power under Trump. Peace through strength is working—and the CCP knows it.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards am To Pursue And kill Netanyahu As War Rhetoric Escalates

Breaking News : Iran’s Revolution∆ry Gu∆rds Vow To Pursue And Unalive Netanyahu As War Rhetoric Escalates

Iran’s powerful Isl∆mic Revolution∆ry Gu∆rd Corps has issued a stark warning, declaring that it will pursue and “unalive” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as tensions continue to intensify in the ongoing war involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

In a statement released on Sunday, the Iranian Revolution∆ry Gu∆rds said that if Netanyahu is still alive, they will relentlessly pursue him. The statement described the Israeli leader as a “ch!ld-kill!ng crim!nal” and asserted that Iranian forces would continue hunting him “with full force.” The threat comes as the conflict enters its third week, with both sides exchanging missile strikes and increasingly hostile rhetoric.

The remarks from Iran were also issued amid widespread speculation on social media about Netanyahu’s whereabouts. Some online users questioned whether the Israeli prime minister had appeared publicly in recent days, while conspiracy theories circulated after footage from a recent press conference sparked claims that it may have been digitally altered.

The video in question showed the 76-year-old Israeli leader speaking during his first press briefing after the launch of joint US-Israeli airstrikes on Iran that began on February 28. During that appearance, Netanyahu defended Israel’s military campaign and issued a warning directed toward Iran’s leadership, including its new Supreme Leader Mojt∆ba Kh∆menei.

The war erupted following coordinated US and Israeli strikes targeting Iranian facilities, dramatically escalating tensions tied to Iran’s nuclear and missile programs. Since then, both sides have continued exchanging attacks, while regional states have faced missile and drone threats as the confrontation spreads beyond Iran and Israel.

Iran has continued responding with missile and drone strikes alongside increasingly aggressive messaging, fueling fears that the conflict could widen into a broader regional war involving multiple Middle Eastern countries.

Ukraine’s Frontlines Just Got a New Kind of Soldier: The $150K Phantom MK-1 Humanoid Robot

Ukraine’s Frontlines Just Got a New Kind of Soldier: The $150K Phantom MK-1 Humanoid Robot

Two Phantom MK-1 units from San Francisco-based Foundation arrived in Ukraine back in February for real-world combat testing. These aren’t factory helpers anymore—they’re built for war.

Jet-black steel frame. Tinted visor. Ballistic armor plating. Special stealth coating that masks heat signatures from thermal sensors. Each one costs around $150,000 and can haul 20 kg of gear, weapons, or ammo while moving like a human.

The MK-1 handles everything from pistols to M-16 rifles, breaches doors, and runs recon without sleep, fear, or fatigue. Foundation already locked in $24 million in contracts with the US Army, Navy, and Air Force, and co-founder Mike LeBlanc—a Marine combat vet—calls it a moral necessity to send robots into danger instead of people.

Reports from Time magazine confirm the deployment started as frontline reconnaissance support, with potential for armed roles as testing ramps up. Ukraine’s brutal battlefield has become the ultimate proving ground for what could reshape warfare forever.

The machines march in. Humans step back. The future of fighting looks cold, tireless, and unstoppable.

Japan Firmly Asserts Independence: Will Not Send Warships to Strait of Hormuz Just Because Trump Asked

In a clear demonstration of sovereign foreign policy, Japanese officials have stated they will not automatically deploy naval vessels to the Strait of Hormuz solely at the request of U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to the Japanese Broadcasting Corporation (NHK):
A senior Foreign Ministry official told NHK that Japan “will not immediately dispatch naval vessels just because Trump asked.”
Ruling Liberal Democratic Party policy chief Takayuki Kobayashi, speaking on NHK, described the legal and political threshold for any such deployment as “extremely high,” adding that Japan must “carefully consider the matter” given the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The statements come hours after President Trump posted on Truth Social urging Japan, China, France, South Korea, the UK, and other nations to join the U.S. in sending warships to keep the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz “open and safe” amid disruptions linked to the U.S.-Israel-Iran tensions.

Japan has made no commitment to deploy forces and emphasized that any decision will be based on its own independent assessment and constitutional constraints.

Turkey unveils new AI-powered kamikaze drone “K2” amid rising Middle East tensions

Turkey unveils new AI-powered kamikaze drone “K2” amid rising Middle East tensions

Turkey has unveiled a new AI-powered kamikaze drone known as “K2”, a next-generation loitering munition designed to enhance autonomous strike capabilities on the modern battlefield.

According to defense sources, the K2 drone integrates artificial intelligence–assisted targeting systems, allowing it to identify, track, and engage targets with limited human input once deployed.

The system is designed for precision strike missions, capable of loitering over target areas before diving directly into designated objectives and detonating on impact. Military analysts say such drones are increasingly becoming a critical component of modern warfare due to their relatively low cost and high operational flexibility.

The unveiling comes at a time of heightened regional tensions in the Middle East, where unmanned aerial systems have become a central tool in both surveillance and strike operations across multiple conflict zones.

Regime’s Street Enforcers Take Heavy Hits in Iran

Regime’s Street Enforcers Take Heavy Hits in Iran

Fresh reports confirm ongoing strikes hammering Iran’s Basij militia—the regime’s frontline thugs who have terrorized neighborhoods, manned checkpoints, and crushed protests for decades.

These volunteer paramilitary forces, loyal to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, enforce the mullahs’ iron grip through intimidation and violence. Now, multiple Basij checkpoints and positions across Iran, including in Tehran, have been hit hard in what appears to be a deliberate campaign to strip the dictatorship of its street-level control.

The pattern is clear: sustained attacks degrade the very network that keeps the population in fear. If the regime loses its ability to dominate the streets, its hold on power crumbles fast.

A regime that can no longer intimidate or suppress its own people faces an existential threat. The walls are closing in.

Trump Rejects Zelensky’s Offer of Drone Defense Help, Calls Ukrainian Leader ‘The Last Person We Need Help From’

Breaking News: Trump Rejects Zelensky’s Offer of Drone Defense Help, Calls Ukrainian Leader ‘The Last Person We Need Help From’

In a pointed rebuff amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, U.S. President Donald Trump has dismissed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s offer to provide expertise in countering Iranian drones (such as Shahed models), stating that the United States does not require Ukraine’s assistance.

Trump first addressed the issue in a Fox News interview on March 13, 2026, declaring: “We don’t need [Ukraine’s] help in drone defense. We know more about drones than anybody. We have the best drones in the world.”

He reinforced his position in a March 14 phone interview with NBC News, explicitly saying: “The last person we need help from is Zelensky.” Trump also described Zelensky as “far more difficult to make a deal with” than Russian President Vladimir Putin in separate comments on Ukraine negotiations.

This comes after Zelensky publicly stated that the U.S. and Gulf allies had sought Ukraine’s know-how gained from years of defending against similar Iranian-supplied drones used by Russia to bolster defenses against Iranian aerial threats.

The remarks highlight ongoing strains in U.S.-Ukraine relations under the current administration.
