Iranian President Pezeshkian Delivers Nowruz Address from Makeshift Basement Hideout

Iranian President Pezeshkian Delivers Nowruz Address from Makeshift Basement Hideout

On March 20, 2026, as Iran marked Nowruz and Eid al-Fitr amid escalating regional conflict, President Masoud Pezeshkian recorded his traditional New Year message in what appears to be an underground bunker. The setting featured blankets hung on walls for crude soundproofing, dim lighting, and a pink stuffed animal placed near his feet—details that have drawn widespread mockery online as symbols of the regime’s diminished authority.

The visibly weary Pezeshkian, speaking in subdued tones, opened with standard religious phrasing and offered congratulations: “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Dear people of Iran, my fellow compatriots… I congratulate you all on the arrival of Nowruz and, coinciding with it, the blessed Eid al-Fitr.”

He acknowledged a “different atmosphere” this year, blaming external enemies for attempts to sow despair while praising Iranian resilience: “This year Nowruz has arrived in a different atmosphere. Our enemies have tried to make us despair, but the Iranian nation has shown with its patience and resilience that it will not surrender.”

Pezeshkian insisted Iran seeks no conflict with Muslim neighbors, calling them “our brothers” and attributing problems to foreign interference: “We do not seek war with our neighbors and Muslim countries… Our dear neighbors, you are our brothers. Our difficulties are the result of the interference of enemies. We are ready to resolve all differences with you.”

He proposed a regional security framework excluding outsiders and reiterated Tehran’s stance on nuclear weapons: “To establish peace and stability in the region, I propose that a regional security structure be formed by Islamic countries, without the involvement of outsiders. Iran does not seek nuclear weapons and will not. We only consider defending ourselves our right.”

The address closed with hopes for blessings: “I hope the new year will be full of goodness and blessings for all Iranians. Happy Nowruz to you.”

The video’s low-production quality and Pezeshkian’s defeated demeanor stand in sharp contrast to the pomp of past regime messages. Many observers see it as further evidence that real power rests with the IRGC, leaving the presidency a hollow figurehead in a regime under severe pressure.

Ukraine Moves Toward Robotic Warfare, Aims to Replace One-Third of Frontline Troops

Breaking News : Ukraine Moves Toward Robotic Warfare, Aims to Replace One-Third of Frontline Troops

Ukraine is preparing for a major shift in modern warfare, with commanders stating that ground robotic systems could replace up to one-third of infantry forces on the frontline, potentially transforming its soldiers into a smaller but more elite fighting force.

According to Ukrainian military leadership, the increasing use of unmanned ground platforms is being driven by the harsh realities of the battlefield, where constant drone surveillance and heavily contested logistics have made traditional troop movement and resupply extremely difficult.

Andrii Biletsky, commander of Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps, emphasized that expanding robotic systems could significantly reduce pressure on frontline troops. These machines are expected to take over both combat and logistical roles, allowing human soldiers to operate more effectively in high-risk environments where visibility and survivability are rapidly declining.

The shift comes as both sides increasingly rely on unmanned systems across air, land, and sea. On the ground, robotic platforms are being used for reconnaissance, fire support, and supply missions, particularly in areas where human presence is extremely dangerous due to continuous enemy observation and strikes.

Ukrainian commanders describe this transition as a potential battlefield revolution, where robots handle the most dangerous tasks while human troops evolve into highly trained, specialized units. The concept aims not only to preserve manpower but also to adapt to a war environment dominated by sensors, drones, and precision targeting.

If fully implemented, this approach could redefine infantry warfare, reducing the number of soldiers required on the front while increasing the effectiveness and survivability of those who remain.

Putin Sends Nowruz Message to Iran, Pledges Russia as “Loyal Friend” Amid U.S.-Iran Conflict

Breaking News : Putin Sends Nowruz Message to Iran, Pledges Russia as “Loyal Friend” Amid U.S.-Iran Conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin has formally congratulated Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Kh∆menei and President Masoud Pezeshkian on Nowruz, the Persian New Year, with the Kremlin issuing a statement on March 21, 2026, reaffirming that Moscow remains a loyal friend and reliable partner to Tehran.

In the message, Putin wished the Iranian people the strength to overcome their current hardships with dignity, a clear reference to the ongoing military pressure Iran faces following U.S. strikes on its nuclear and naval infrastructure.

The statement carries added significance given the moment. Mojtaba Kh∆menei was appointed Supreme Leader by the Assembly of Experts on March 8, 2026, following the death of his father Ali Khamenei, who was unalived in joint U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Tehran on February 28, 2026. Putin’s Nowruz message is among the first high-profile diplomatic exchanges with Iran’s new supreme leadership.

While Russia had previously focused its public messaging on calls for restraint and de-escalation, this marks one of the more direct expressions of solidarity Moscow has extended to Tehran during the current crisis. Iranian sources, however, have suggested that despite warm diplomatic language, Tehran has received limited tangible support from Russia on the ground. Reports of Russia supplying Iran with intelligence on U.S. military asset locations have surfaced, though the Kremlin has denied those claims.

The timing of Putin’s message, delivered on the first day of Nowruz, carries symbolic weight as much as strategic significance.

Iran Shocks World With 4,000 KM Missile Reach Attempt Targeting Diego Garcia Base

Breaking News : Iran Shocks World With 4,000 KM Missile Reach Attempt Targeting Diego Garcia Base

In a dramatic escalation of the ongoing Iran conflict, fresh questions have emerged over the true extent of Tehran’s missile capabilities after it attempted a long-range strike on the US-UK military base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

According to reports, Iran launched two intermediate-range ballistic missiles toward the strategically critical base, located roughly 4,000 kilometers from Iranian territory. This distance alone has triggered serious concern among Western defense analysts, as Iran has long publicly maintained that its missile range is capped at around 2,000 kilometers.

Although the missiles failed to hit their target, the implications are significant. One missile reportedly malfunctioned mid-flight, while the other was engaged by a US Navy interceptor system. Whether the interception was fully successful remains unclear, but the attempt itself marks a major expansion of Iran’s operational reach.

This strike attempt is being viewed as a potential signal that Iran may possess more advanced and longer-range missile systems than previously disclosed. Analysts suggest this could indicate the existence of undisclosed intermediate-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching far beyond the Middle East, putting distant US and allied military installations within range.

Diego Garcia is a key logistics and operations hub used by the United States and United Kingdom for missions across Asia and the Middle East. Any demonstrated ability to threaten this base represents a strategic shift in the conflict, expanding the battlefield far beyond its traditional geographic limits.

The incident comes amid intensifying hostilities, with Iran increasingly showcasing its missile capabilities as both a deterrent and a warning. Experts are now questioning what other capabilities Tehran may be holding back, particularly in terms of range, payload, and precision.

The failed strike may not have caused physical damage, but it has already succeeded in reshaping strategic calculations and raising fears of a wider, more unpredictable conflict.

“Iran has threatened to cut the undersea internet cables that connect the Gulf states to the world.”

“Iran has threatened to cut the undersea internet cables that connect the Gulf states to the world.”

The ongoing tension between Iran and the United States and its allies in the Middle East has now taken a new turn, after Iran issued a strong warning about the possibility of targeting the world’s critical communications infrastructure. Undersea internet cables are the backbone of international communications, carrying a large part of the data used to connect different continents every second.

Through sensitive routes like the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, about 17 percent of all internet traffic in the world passes, involving Gulf countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others. In addition to regular internet use, these routes are also important for large artificial intelligence (AI) technology centers and data centers, especially in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which have invested heavily in the technology sector.

If such a move is taken, the consequences could be very serious, not only for the Middle Eastern countries, but also for the entire world.

The disruption of these cables could cause long-term disruptions to the internet, affecting businesses, communications, financial services and even modern data-dependent technology systems on a large scale.

Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi rejects the AFCON title

Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi rejects the AFCON title.

Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi has publicly rejected the Confederation of African Football’s decision to award his country the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title, insisting that Senegal deserved to be champions following their victory on the pitch.

In a strongly worded statement, the Paris Saint-Germain defender made clear that he and his teammates should not accept the trophy, despite CAF’s ruling to strip Senegal of the title.

“My mum told me to reject the AFCON trophy. I’m officially rejecting the trophy and hope my teammates do the same. We had a chance to win it, but we failed to win it,” Hakimi said.

The Moroccan captain acknowledged that Senegal were rightful winners after their performance in the January 18 final, which saw the Teranga Lions triumph 1-0 after extra time despite a dramatic walk-off by Senegal players to protest a late penalty decision.

“That’s football; sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Senegal beat us fairly and deserved the win. It will be unfair to ruin their joy after the hard work they put in.”

Hakimi added that while he respects CAF’s position, he cannot accept a title he believes Morocco did not earn on the field.

“I respect the CAF decision, but I’m officially rejecting the trophy. I didn’t win the 2025 AFCON. Congratulations to Senegal once again.”

His comments mark a rare moment in international football, with a player openly declining recognition in favour of sporting integrity.

On March 17, CAF’s Appeal Board ruled that Senegal’s walk-off constituted a forfeiture under tournament regulations, annulling the 1-0 Senegal victory and awarding Morocco a 3-0 win. Senegal has indicated it will appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

UPND Gains Ground in Muchinga as Defections Signal Early Pre-Election Realignment

 BUILD-UP | UPND Gains Ground in Muchinga as Defections Signal Early Pre-Election Realignment

Two Patriotic Front (PF) Members of Parliament from Muchinga Province have crossed over to the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND), in a development that adds to signs of shifting political alignment ahead of the 2026 general elections.

Sunday Chanda, MP for Kanchibiya, and Majory Nakaponda, MP for Isoka, formally joined the UPND yesterday, with PF President and Leader of the Opposition Robert Chabinga present during the transition. Mr Chanda indicated that councillors in his constituency are expected to follow, pointing to a broader movement beyond individual defection.

At face value, this is a routine political crossover.

But in context, it reflects something more deliberate.

Muchinga Province has long formed part of the PF’s political backbone. Movement within this region, particularly involving sitting Members of Parliament and local structures, suggests early signs of erosion in what was once considered stable opposition ground.

The timing is notable.

With Parliament expected to dissolve in May, the political window for repositioning is narrowing. Defections at this stage are rarely isolated. They tend to signal calculations about electoral viability, access to structures, and alignment with perceived momentum heading into a national vote.

Public reasons offered by the defectors centred on policy.

Ms Nakaponda cited government programmes such as free education, while endorsements from council chairpersons across Nakonde, Chinsali, Shiwang’andu, Isoka, Mafinga, and Kanchibiya framed the UPND as best placed to sustain development in the province.

Such justifications carry political weight.

But they also sit alongside a familiar pre-election pattern, where local actors recalibrate positions in response to shifting power dynamics and resource access tied to incumbency.

For the UPND, the gains are both symbolic and structural.

Symbolically, they reinforce a narrative of growing national reach, particularly in regions where the party has historically struggled. Structurally, the movement of MPs, councillors, and civic leaders strengthens grassroots networks ahead of campaign mobilisation.

https://youtu.be/VTZDMoBOr9M?si=IqJApV-Z2MwPFUZy

For the PF, the implications are more complex.

While defections are not uncommon in Zambia’s political cycle, movement at this level raises questions about internal cohesion and the party’s ability to retain influence in key provinces as the election approaches.

Crowds and endorsements can signal momentum.

But electoral outcomes are shaped by organisation, messaging, and voter turnout.

What follows next will be critical.

Whether this development triggers further defections, or prompts consolidation within the opposition, may define the early balance of power as the country moves closer to dissolution and the formal start of the campaign season.

KBN TV RUBBISHES ZAMBIAN WATCHDOG

KBN TV RUBBISHES PUPPY’S WEAK BARKING

KBN TV takes strong exception to “legally immune” defamation gutter sniff puppy for trying to twist facts of a credible and exclusive professional news story.

By twisting facts of an exclusive KBN TV report surrounding yesterday’s airport interrogation of Tonse Alliance Presidential candidate, Brian Mundubile, the UPND aligned infamous blog is trying to incite law enforcement agencies against KBN TV.

“KBN TV is not in the habit of manufacturing fake news. We are a reputable media house, we don’t operate like the infamous and politically inclined puppy,” KBN TV CEO, Pastor Kennedy Mambwe, said in reaction to inflammatory allegations published by a discredited blog.

What the puppy blog doesn’t know is that following the publication of the exclusive content of the airport interrogation, investigative wings called Mundubile’s lawyers last night to complain why they had released such information to KBN TV.

Last night, Mundubile team familiar with airport interrogation confirmed to KBN TV that police queried him on when he last spoke to Mwata Kazembe, Valden Findlay, Sparks, former intelligence DG, Saviour Chungu, Moses Katumbi and the former DRC President Joseph Kabila.

Plain clothed Police officers who had introduced themselves as coming from the intelligence, asked Mundubile if he knew a village called Kashobwe in the DRC, to which he refuted any knowledge of the place.

Today, the Zambia Police Service has formally charged and arrested Hon. Brian  Muntayalwa Mundubile aged 55 of Lusaka for the offence of Aiding, Abetting, and Counselling to commit  Hate Speech, contrary to Section 55 as read with Section 65 of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act No. 2 of 2021 of the  Laws of Zambia.

But in its usual spiteful and detestable style of fanning hate speech and defamatory statements, the ruling party aligned puppy blog published the screen shots below making wild civil war allegations that KBN TV never reported.

Loyalty vs Opportunism: Can The Betrayer Be Trusted?- Dr. Mwelwa

Loyalty vs Opportunism: Can The Betrayer Be Trusted?- Dr. Mwelwa

By Dr. Mwelwa

At the heart of this debate lies a difficult but unavoidable question: can a betrayer be trusted over a loyal member?

Politics may tolerate defection, but it cannot ignore character. When an individual abandons one political family under pressure or convenience, the act itself raises a fundamental concern—not about where they are going, but about what they are capable of repeating. Loyalty is not tested in comfort; it is proven in difficult seasons. Those who remained when power was distant demonstrated something deeper than strategy—they demonstrated conviction.

UPND must therefore reflect carefully. Its foundation was built by men and women who endured years of opposition, uncertainty, and sacrifice. These are individuals who did not calculate convenience; they committed to a cause. When such loyalty is placed side by side with recent defectors seeking immediate inclusion, the comparison is not merely political—it is moral.

To elevate the betrayer above the loyal is to send a dangerous signal: that endurance counts for less than timing.

History is unforgiving on this point. Political organisations that reward opportunism over loyalty often weaken their internal spine. Today’s defector, welcomed for numbers, can become tomorrow’s point of instability. Trust, once compromised, does not fully regenerate simply because allegiance has shifted.

This is not to say that all who cross over are without value. Some may genuinely seek realignment based on principle. But principle reveals itself over time, not in moments of political convenience. It must be tested, observed, and earned—not assumed.

In an election season, the temptation to prioritize numbers is understandable. But numbers without trust create fragile structures. A party may appear strong externally while quietly eroding internally.

UPND must therefore choose the kind of institution it wants to be.

One that rewards those who stood firm when it mattered most, or one that elevates those who arrive when the path is already cleared.

Because in the end, the question is not about political arithmetic. It is about identity.

And identity is built not by those who join at the moment of opportunity, but by those who stayed when there was nothing to gain.

A betrayer maybe be useful – but a loyal member is dependable.

GOVERNMENT RESTRUCTURED €94.6 MILLION DEBT WITH ITALY, EXTENDS MATURITY TO 2043

GOVERNMENT RESTRUCTURED €94.6 MILLION DEBT WITH ITALY, EXTENDS MATURITY TO 2043

GOVERNMENT has signed an agreement with Italy to restructure a €94.6 million debt facility, extending the repayment period from 2027 to 2043 in a move aimed at easing the country’s financial obligations.

Minister of Finance and National Planning Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane says the original loan used to finance supplies for the Ministry of Defence signed in June 2018 was due to mature in 2027 but has now been successfully restructured to mature in 2043.

Dr. Musokotwane has further disclosed that the government has resumed servicing debt repayments on all finalized restructuring agreements, signalling renewed commitment to meeting its financial obligations.

Meanwhile, Enrico De Agostini, Italian Ambassador to Zambia says Zambia’s commitment to settling its debt obligations opens the door for increased trade and investment support from Italian financial institutions and strengthens economic ties between the two nations.

Ambassador De Agostini noted that throughout the restructuring process, Italy has acted as more than just a creditor.

He says within the G7 and G20 frameworks, Italy has consistently advocated for a human-centered approach to debt sustainability.

US Deploys A-10 Warthogs Into Combat Over Strait of Hormuz to Hunt Iranian Fast Attack Boats

Breaking News : US Deploys A-10 Warthogs Into Combat Over Strait of Hormuz to Hunt Iranian Fast Attack Boats

The United States has officially deployed A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft into active combat operations over the Strait of Hormuz, marking a significant escalation in efforts to secure one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints.

According to a March 19 briefing by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine, A-10 squadrons have already “begun combat” and are actively tasked with locating and destroying Iranian fast attack craft operating in the region. These small, highly maneuverable boats have been widely linked to harassment operations, mine-laying activities, and threats to commercial shipping transiting the strait.

The A-10, known for its durability, long loiter time, and devastating close-air support capabilities, is particularly well-suited for maritime strike missions against fast-moving surface targets. Its deployment signals a shift toward sustained, precision-focused operations aimed at neutralizing asymmetric naval threats posed by Iran.

US officials confirmed that the aircraft are not merely deployed as a deterrent but are actively engaged in combat missions as part of a broader campaign to restore maritime security.

The operation also involves other assets, including attack helicopters and naval forces, working in coordination to counter Iranian activities and ensure the safe passage of global energy supplies through the strait.

The Strait of Hormuz remains a vital artery for global النفط shipments, and any disruption carries immediate implications for international markets and regional stability.

The introduction of A-10 ground attack aircraft into this theater underscores Washington’s intent to directly confront threats at sea and maintain freedom of navigation in the face of escalating tensions.

Elon Musk found LIABLE for misleading Twitter investors in his $44B takeover

MASSIVE: Elon Musk found LIABLE for misleading Twitter investors in his $44B takeover. This will cost him BILLIONS.

A San Francisco civil jury just delivered a massive hit to Elon Musk, finding the billionaire liable for misleading investors during his takeover of Twitter, which he now calls X. He’ll now own thousands of people, through a class action lawsuit.

Jurors concluded Musk knowingly drove down the company’s stock with reckless public statements, including his false claim the deal was “temporarily on hold.”

That single message sent shockwaves through the market. Investors panicked. Prices dropped. People sold based on uncertainty Musk himself created. The jury made it clear those statements were misleading and caused real financial harm.

The consequences are enormous. Damages could reach billions, with estimates ranging from $3 to $8 per share, per day, for affected investors. This impacts not just individuals, but major institutional players.

Musk insisted his concerns about bots were legitimate. That argument failed to protect him from accountability here.

Elon just learned the hard way — all the money in the world couldn’t save him.

Not only will he lose billions, but he’ll forever be on the record as a fraud.

Pentagon Prepares Ground Force Plans for Iran Including Detention of Iranian Soldiers

Breaking News : Pentagon Prepares Ground Force Plans for Iran Including Detention of Iranian Soldiers

The Pentagon has prepared detailed plans to deploy U.S. ground forces into Iran if ordered by President Trump, CBS News has confirmed through multiple sources with direct knowledge of the matter.

Senior U.S. military commanders have submitted specific operational requests to prepare for a potential ground deployment as the U.S.-Israel-led conflict with Iran continues to escalate.

In a significant detail, the military has also held internal meetings to plan the capture and detention of Iranian soldiers and paramilitary operatives including where detained Iranians would be held.

The U.S. is also reportedly preparing to deploy elements of the elite 82nd Airborne Division into the Middle East region, with planning involving the Army’s Global Response Force and Marine Expeditionary Units.

The White House clarified that no final decision has been made. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that it is the Pentagon’s job to prepare contingency options to give the Commander in Chief maximum flexibility, adding that Trump is not planning to send ground troops at this time.

When asked directly, President Trump said: “No, I’m not putting troops anywhere.”

The plans, however, signal that the military is actively preparing for scenarios well beyond airstrikes putting boots on the ground firmly on the table.

Switzerland Halts Arms Exports to US to Preserve Neutrality

Switzerland Halts Arms Exports to US to Preserve Neutrality

Switzerland has announced the suspension of military equipment exports to the United States amid the ongoing Middle East conflict, citing its long-standing policy of military neutrality.

The Swiss government has stopped issuing new export licenses to the US, while existing permits will undergo strict review by a special panel involving the foreign affairs, defense, and economic ministries.

Officials stated the move is necessary to ensure compliance with Switzerland’s neutrality principles, which have been upheld for over 500 years.

Switzerland has not approved arms exports to Israel or Iran for years, and has also denied US requests for airspace access since February 28, when the conflict began.

The country’s neutrality policy dates back centuries and has been internationally recognized since 1815.

US Eases Sanctions on Russian Oil Shipments   Cuba, North Korea Still Banned

US Eases Sanctions on Russian Oil Shipments   Cuba, North Korea Still Banned

The United States has amended its sanctions policy to allow the sale of Russian oil already at sea until April, aiming to stabilize surging global oil prices following recent strikes on Iran.

Under the revised general license, transactions involving Russian oil loaded on tankers on or before March 12 are permitted through April 11. However, dealings with Cuba and North Korea remain strictly prohibited.

The updated policy expands earlier exemptions, which were limited to Iran-related transactions, to now include certain Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine.

The move comes after Washington temporarily allowed such sales amid rising oil prices triggered by U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran.

Meanwhile, reports indicate a Russian diesel tanker is expected to arrive near Cuba within days, allegedly using deceptive shipping tactics to reach the island.

Zambia Builds Fuel Buffer as Global Energy Risks Deepen

 VIEWPOINT | Zambia Builds Fuel Buffer as Global Energy Risks Deepen

Zambia’s decision this week to upgrade strategic fuel storage depots in Mongu, Mansa and Chipata signals a shift from routine supply management to risk mitigation, as global energy pressures begin to intensify.

The announcement came on Thursday, days after government spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa cautioned that fuel prices could rise, urging the public to prepare for possible adjustments. The message unsettled consumers. It also raised a more pointed question. Is there a plan to manage the risk?

The depot upgrades offer part of that answer.

By extending storage capacity beyond traditional hubs such as Ndola and Mpika, the government is attempting to decentralise reserves and reduce exposure to disruptions along single supply corridors. The three facilities, with a combined capacity of 20 million litres, are designed to improve national coverage and response flexibility.

At a domestic level, the system is holding.

Current stocks stand at 56 days of diesel cover, 23 days for petrol, 10 days for Jet A-1, and just over 9 days for kerosene. These figures define the country’s short-term resilience. They also underline its limits.

The broader context has shifted sharply.

On Thursday, Iran struck Qatar’s liquefied natural gas infrastructure, cutting export capacity by an estimated 17 percent. Analysts suggest recovery could take up to five years. The incident adds a structural constraint to global energy supply at a time when markets are already sensitive to disruption.

At the same time, tensions around the Strait of Hormuz remain elevated. The passage accounts for a significant share of global oil flows. Any sustained constraint there tightens supply and raises costs for import-dependent economies.

Political signals from Washington have further complicated the outlook.

President Donald Trump has publicly criticised NATO allies over their reluctance to intervene in securing critical energy routes, framing the alliance as a “Paper Tigger” without US Army. The message points to a growing overlap between energy security and geopolitical alignment.

Markets have responded.

Oil prices have moved from roughly $78 to around $94 per barrel within days, placing immediate pressure on economies such as Zambia that rely entirely on imported fuel.

Against this backdrop, Zambia’s domestic actions take on a different meaning.

https://youtu.be/VTZDMoBOr9M?si=IqJApV-Z2MwPFUZy

Expanding storage. Monitoring supply chains. Maintaining engagement with oil marketing companies and regional partners. Holding prices steady in March despite wider increases. These are elements of a containment strategy designed to buy time and manage volatility.

But the strategy has limits.

Storage extends resilience. It does not alter global pricing. Diversification reduces risk concentration. It does not remove exposure. And price stability, where maintained, is ultimately constrained by fiscal capacity.

The central question is no longer whether Zambia is stable today. It is whether that stability can be sustained if external pressures persist.

If supply disruptions deepen and prices continue to rise, policy choices will narrow. Government will face a familiar trade-off between absorbing costs through subsidies or passing them on to consumers through higher pump prices.

Neither option is straightforward. But the issue has moved beyond short-term politics. It is structural.

Zambia is operating within an energy system shaped by external shocks, where events in the Gulf and policy signals from major powers transmit quickly into domestic markets.

For now, the country has built a buffer.

Whether that buffer holds will depend on the duration and depth of the global disruption.

Trump Outsmarts Iran: Temporary Oil Release Crushes Regime’s Price-Gouging Scheme

Trump Outsmarts Iran: Temporary Oil Release Crushes Regime’s Price-Gouging Scheme

In a sharp display of strategic brilliance, the Trump administration has temporarily lifted sanctions on about 140 million barrels of Iranian oil already loaded on ships or in storage, turning Tehran’s own weapon against it.

US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz defended the move during a CNN Town Hall on March 20, 2026, explaining it as a precise counter to Iran’s deliberate withholding of supply to inflate global energy prices amid the conflict.

Waltz told CNN’s Dana Bash: “That’s a little bit misleading. It’s very temporary, to basically defeat the Iranian strategy of driving energy prices so high.”

He added that the oil will flow to allies such as India, Japan, and South Korea, flooding the market just enough to blunt artificial price spikes hurting American families and consumers worldwide.

“This is very temporary to allow to basically defeat the Iranian strategy of driving energy prices so high, causing pain on consumers all the way you know, all over the world,” Waltz stated. “We’re going to allow it to go on a temporary basis to some of our allies like India, Japan, and others so that this strategy from Iran, the Iranian regime, doesn’t work.”

The policy, announced by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, remains narrowly tailored and short-term, with no broad relief granted. Maximum pressure sanctions stay firmly in place on new Iranian production, banking, and the regime’s core revenue streams.

Critics whine that Iran still pockets some cash, but the net result is clear: lower pump prices for Americans, denied leverage to the mullahs, and a smart tactical win while the administration keeps degrading Iran’s capabilities on the battlefield.

President Trump and his team are putting American interests first—protecting wallets at home while squeezing the regime abroad. No blank checks for terrorists, just clever use of their own oil to beat them at their game.

IN 2000, Duba Sakala was engaged to get married to her now ex-fiance, who after getting tested in 2001, vanished from her life, leaving their plans to one day get married, crumbling.

Duba, who has lived with HIV for 25 years recollects how she and her ex-fiance visited an HIV testing centre in 2001, and narrates the anxiety the couple bore waiting for results.

Speaking when she featured on My Story Podcast monitored by TV Yatu, Duba shares that the counselor that attended to them shared the couple’s HIV test results individually.

“I read my results, and they said reactive, and I knew what reactive meant. He read his results and they read, non-reactive. He looked at me and I am sure he could tell from the look of my face, that my results was not what I expected,” she shares.

Duba narrates that, after it was clear to him that they had read their results, their counselor asked if they could exchange their results slips.

“I was okay with it because this was somebody I was going to get married to. So I gave him my results, he gave me his results,” she narrates.

She says when he read her results, he quickly gave her a hug.

“He gave me a hug and said it will be okay,” she shares.

She further narrates that after they had the HIV testing centre, her now ex-fiance walked her to his home where according to her reality of her testing positive struck and she broke down.

“He was in the kitchen and I think he heard me sobbing and he came. And he started comforting me and told me, don’t worry I will walk through this with you, I am not going to leave you, I am still going to go ahead and marry you,” Duba shares.

She says according to that Church’s practice, since it asked them to test for HIV, the couple needed to get back to it and inform them of the outcome of the test.

Duba says after discussing the matter with her partner, she resolved to share the outcome with their marriage counselors and not their relatives.

In sharing her story, Duba delves deep and takes viewers to when she nursed the mother and had tuberculosis.

“Little did I know that it was HIV related,” she shares.

She says while preparing for her bridal shower, tuberculosis recurred and that when she visited the hospital, the doctor advised that he would only put her on medication after the event had past cautioning that, if he put her on medication there and then, the medication would make her weak.

“So, the problem now started during the bridal shower. I was unwell and I was weak…so, family to the man came to the bridal shower and they noticed that I was unwell…and we had kept this between us and we had not told our families,” Duba recollects.

She says after the bridal shower, her ex-fiance’s family dragged him aside and asked if we had tested for HIV because of how I appeared on the day of the event.

She says the man declined ever undergoing an HIV test with her because they had agreed to keep the results between them.

She recollects how they insisted that their relative drags Duba to get tested for HIV as she did not look healthy.

She narrates that shortly after he had a meeting with his relatives, he briefed her of what they had discussed.

Duba recollects resolving to sharing her HIV status with her family, and asked her ex-fiance to go ahead and share with his family.

She painfully narrates that, at that time, her family had already lost a number of family members from AIDS.

According to her, her family was very understanding and said that it could happen to anyone.

Duba recollects that, around this time, HIV medication was not dispensensed for free.

She says the problem started when her ex-fiance told his relatives about her HIV status.

According to her, his family alleged that she was on plan to willfully infect their relative whom she had not had sex with at the time.

“I equally did not know I was HIV positive despite having had tuberculosis in 1998. I had no idea it was HIV related. I thought it was because of the bronchitis I had as a child and that’s the reason I ended up developing tuberculosis,” Duba shares that when he told them, they vehemently told him he was not going to be allowed to marry her.

She shares that when he mentioned all this to her, they discussed how that were to approach the matter.

According to her, he told her that he was going to allow her to complete her tuberculosis treatment, which was a relapse and was expected to take about eight months.

He told her that he would only marry her after she was done with her tuberculosis treatment that was a year after.

She shares that during the period she took tuberculosis medication, communication began dying down.

After she was done with her medication, Duba says she informed the man, who she says appeared to have grown cold feet over his promise to marry her.

She says he still assured her he would marry her.

She says when he visited Lusaka, she removed engagement ring and put it back in the box it came with and asked him to put it back if it belong on her finger.

“And he got the box. To me that was a sign that he was coming to call off the engagement,” she says.

She narrates that a meeting was held and his relatives informed her relatives that after she tested positive for HIV, their son had decided not to go ahead with the wedding.

Iran Fires 4,000 km IRBM Targeting Diego Garcia Base in Indian Ocean

Iran Fires 4,000 km IRBM Targeting Diego Garcia Base in Indian Ocean

Iran has reportedly launched long-range intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBM) targeting the US-UK joint military base on Diego Garcia, a key strategic outpost in the region.

Initial reports indicate two missiles were fired, with one experiencing a mid-flight failure, while the second was detected and intercepted by US naval forces.

There has been no official confirmation on whether the interception fully neutralized the threat, and the exact timing of the strike remains unclear.

Diego Garcia is a critical military hub used for long-range operations and power projection across the Middle East and Indo-Pacific.

The reported strike distance of approximately 4,000 kilometers marks a significant escalation, exceeding previous Western assessments of Iran’s operational missile range.

Bahrain Joins 19 Nations, Ready to Act to Secure Strait of Hormuz

Bahrain Joins 19 Nations, Ready to Act to Secure Strait of Hormuz

The government of Bahrain has joined a joint statement with 19 allied nations across Europe and Asia, declaring readiness to take all necessary measures to ensure security in the Strait of Hormuz.

The coalition includes the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada, South Korea, New Zealand, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Lithuania.

The statement strongly condemns Iran’s actions, particularly attacks on commercial vessels and civilian infrastructure, as well as the unlawful disruption of maritime routes.

The group called on Iran to immediately halt mine deployments, drone and missile strikes, and to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817 to restore stability to one of the world’s most critical energy shipping lanes.

The unified stance by a broad coalition of European and Asian nations signals escalating pressure on Tehran, with warnings that further measures could be taken if disruptions continue.

DR. MOTSEPE NOT FOR HIRE: CAF Spokesperson Defends Patrice Motsepe After Senegal AfCON Debacle

After the CAF Appeals Board striped Senegal of the 2025 title, the body’s president has endured backlash across the world.

Head of CAF Communications Luxolo September has responded.

“No one can buy Motsepe. He donated $10 million USD to CAF and hasn’t taken a cent from CAF or FIFA. People have this lazy stereotype about Africans being corrupt. When they say Dr. Patrice Motsepe is ‘bought,’ I ask: ‘By who? For how much?’ It’s laughable.

For 6 years, he’s not taken a single cent. CAF doesn’t pay for his travel, accommodation, or salary. Who can buy him? How can he be bought? We should have confidence that some leaders are incorruptible.

He’s probably the only football leader today who doesn’t take a cent from football.” [Citi Sports]

Ghana, South Africa Turn to Dangote Refinery Amid Global Fuel Crisis

Ghana, South Africa Turn to Dangote Refinery Amid Global Fuel Crisis

Several African countries, including Ghana and South Africa, are turning to the Dangote Refinery as the ongoing Middle East conflict disrupts global fuel supply.

Reports show that rising tensions involving Iran and its allies have pushed crude oil prices above $100 per barrel, creating shortages and forcing countries that rely heavily on imports to seek alternatives.

As a result, nations like Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya are now looking to Nigeria’s refinery—owned by billionaire Aliko Dangote—for petrol and diesel supply, with some already exploring long-term deals.

The refinery, with a capacity of about 650,000 barrels per day, is rapidly becoming a key energy lifeline for Africa, especially as supply chains from the Middle East tighten.

Analysts say the development highlights Africa’s long-standing dependence on imported refined fuel, while also positioning Nigeria as a strategic energy hub on the continent.

However, with most of the refinery’s output already serving domestic demand, only a limited volume remains available for export, raising concerns about whether it can meet growing regional needs

U.S. and Israel Launch Airstrikes on IRGC Missile Site, Toxic Orange Plume Rises Over Central Iran

U.S. and Israel Launch Airstrikes on IRGC Missile Site, Toxic Orange Plume Rises Over Central Iran

Latest reports indicate that U.S. and Israeli forces have launched coordinated airstrikes targeting an IRGC missile base located behind Kuhistan Park in Yazd province, central Iran—marking a deep-strike operation into the country’s interior.

Powerful explosions were reported across the area, with visuals confirming a thick orange toxic plume rising into the sky. The cloud has been identified as nitrogen dioxide, resulting from the detonation and leakage of oxidizer compounds used in liquid-fueled missiles, specifically red fuming nitric acid.

The presence of this chemical suggests the strike penetrated critical underground facilities likely missile storage depots or fuel processing sites. Continued secondary explosions indicate a chain reaction within stored munitions or fuel reserves buried beneath mountainous terrain.

Red fuming nitric acid is highly corrosive and poses severe respiratory risks, especially for those located downwind. The nature of the blast indicates a successful breach of hardened defensive layers, pointing to a direct hit on strategic missile infrastructure.

The strike marks a significant escalation, as operations now reach deep into Iranian territory raising concerns of a broader and more dangerous phase of conflict.

Trump Eyes Deploying “Thousands of Ground Troops” to Invade Iran, Seize Uranium Facilities

Trump Eyes Deplo

ying “Thousands of Ground Troops” to Invade Iran, Seize Uranium Facilities

A move that could redefine the trajectory of the conflict is now under close watch, as reports indicate that Donald Trump is considering deploying several thousand ground troops directly into Iranian territory.

The proposed operation goes beyond airstrikes, focusing on the “seizure” of key strategic assets — including major port cities, islands in the Persian Gulf, as well as uranium stockpiles and critical energy infrastructure  aimed at forcing Tehran into submission.

Notably, the strategy emphasizes a “limited but precise” military approach, avoiding a full-scale war like those seen in Iraq or Afghanistan, instead targeting high-value objectives with concentrated force.

However, analysts warn that if U.S. boots step onto Iranian soil, it could trigger a wider regional conflict, potentially pulling the entire Middle East into a new phase of instability.

This is no longer just a bilateral issue  it’s a potential global flashpoint.

Iran Expands War Into Indian Ocean, Fires Ballistic Missiles At US-UK Base In Unprecedented Long-Range Strike

Breaking News : Iran Expands War Into Indian Ocean, Fires Ballistic Missiles At US-UK Base In Unprecedented Long-Range Strike

In a major escalation of the ongoing conflict, Iran has fired two intermediate-range ballistic missiles toward the strategically critical US-UK military base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, marking a significant expansion of the war beyond the Middle East.

According to reports, the missiles were aimed at the joint American-British base located roughly 4,000 kilometers from Iran, highlighting a dramatic extension of Tehran’s strike reach and raising serious concerns over its previously declared missile range limits.

However, neither missile successfully hit the target. One of the missiles reportedly failed mid-flight, while the second triggered a response from a US Navy warship, which launched an SM-3 interceptor in an attempt to neutralize the threat.

It remains unclear whether the interception was successful.
This strike is being seen as Iran’s first operational use of such long-range ballistic missiles in the current conflict, signaling a willingness to target Western military assets far beyond its immediate region.

Diego Garcia serves as a key strategic hub for US and UK forces, hosting bombers, naval assets, and critical logistics infrastructure. Targeting this base underscores the growing geographical scope of the war and the increasing risks to Western military installations worldwide.

The attack comes amid intensifying hostilities between Iran and US-led forces, with the conflict already spreading across multiple regions including the Persian Gulf and beyond. Analysts warn that this development could further destabilize the wider region and draw more international actors into the confrontation.

IRGC Commander Hides Face on State TV Amid Drone Threat, Vows Crushing Response to Israel and US

IRGC Commander Hides Face on State TV Amid Drone Threat, Vows Crushing Response to Israel and US

An IRGC Aerospace Force commander appeared on Iranian state television wearing a black mask and dark sunglasses, concealing his identity while delivering threats against Israel and the United States. The unusual disguise underscores the regime’s fear following recent targeted eliminations of senior IRGC figures by Israeli drones and strikes.

The unnamed commander, claiming to speak from “the front,” issued defiant warnings in a roughly one-minute segment broadcast on March 21, 2026. Key quotes from his remarks include:

– “However much is required, we will unleash forces upon the enemy.”
– “They [the enemy] will be put in their place.

The appearance highlights the IRGC’s rattled state after losses that have thinned its leadership ranks. Rather than projecting strength, the masked broadcast has drawn ridicule online, with observers noting that no amount of concealment can offset the regime’s vulnerability to precision strikes.

This comes amid ongoing cross-border escalation, where Iranian threats of retaliation meet continued Israeli and allied operations aimed at degrading the IRGC’s capabilities. The commander’s anonymity speaks louder than his words: even on national television, regime officials no longer feel safe showing their faces.

“CHAMISA’S NEW MOVEMENT ERUPTS – MILLIONS RALLY AS POLITICAL EARTHQUAKE LOOMS!”

“CHAMISA’S NEW MOVEMENT ERUPTS – MILLIONS RALLY AS POLITICAL EARTHQUAKE LOOMS!”

A political storm is brewing in Zimbabwe as Nelson Chamisa is hailed as “unshaken and resolute” amid a dramatic shift to a brand-new movement set to redefine the nation’s future.

According to Tapiwa Shumba, the transition marks a historic break from the past with no room for old privileges or entitlement politics. Grassroots support is said to be surging at an astonishing pace, with insiders claiming membership targets in the millions were smashed almost instantly.

Chamisa’s camp insists real change won’t come from online debate alone but through a powerful, organised force ready to challenge controversial constitutional reforms.

With a structured action plan looming, allies say momentum is unstoppable. While others’ efforts are acknowledged, the message is clear: this is Chamisa’s movement and the countdown to a major political showdown has begun.

Mojtaba Orders Intelligence Overhaul After Israeli Strikes on Top Commanders

Mojtaba Orders Intelligence Overhaul After Israeli Strikes on Top Commanders

Mojtaba Khamenei has ordered a major overhaul of Iran’s intelligence operations, instructing agencies to “double their efforts” following the loss of several senior officials in ongoing Israeli strikes.

In a message addressed to President Masoud Pezeshkian, Mojtaba praised him as a “dedicated servant and seasoned figure,” while stressing the need to strengthen national security across all fronts.

The directive comes amid reported losses within Iran’s intelligence leadership, including senior figures linked to national security operations.

Meanwhile, Abbas Araghchi confirmed that Mojtaba had previously been injured in an Israeli strike but has since recovered.

The move aligns with earlier statements from the IRGC, which affirmed that missile production remains ongoing despite continued pressure.

IRGC Says Missile Production Continues Despite Heavy Strikes

IRGC Says Missile Production Continues Despite Heavy Strikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed that its missile production is continuing at full pace despite ongoing heavy strikes by the United States and Israel.

The statement, though brief, appears to directly counter claims made by Benjamin Netanyahu, who said Iran had “lost its capability” to enrich uranium and develop ballistic missiles following recent attacks.

According to the IRGC, its missile industry remains active even under wartime conditions.

Meanwhile, Pete Hegseth stated that Iran is still capable of launching missiles and drones due to its large stockpile accumulated before the conflict.

He added that this is why the United States will continue aggressively targeting Iran’s missile launch facilities.

Iran Strikes Haifa Port with Ballistic Missiles, Massive Fire Engulfs Key Israeli Trade Hub

Iran Strikes Haifa Port with Ballistic Missiles, Massive Fire Engulfs Key Israeli Trade Hub

Reports indicate that Iran has launched a medium-range missile strike targeting Israel’s Haifa Port, triggering powerful explosions and a massive blaze at one of the country’s most critical maritime gateways.

The attack occurred around 01:00 local time, with eyewitness footage showing a huge fireball erupting فوق container stacks as flames rapidly spread across the port. The fire reportedly burned for over 12 hours, destroying at least 10 containers and causing widespread damage across the facility.

In a rare move, Israeli military censors approved the release of selected images and videos from the scene suggesting the scale of the damage may be too significant to fully conceal, especially given the strategic importance of the site.

Haifa Port serves as a vital artery for Israel’s imports and exports. Disruptions caused by the fire and ongoing security inspections are expected to impact supply chains and raise concerns within global shipping networks.

Authorities are now assessing the missile trajectory and type used in the strike, with particular focus on evaluating the effectiveness of air defense systems in the northern sector long considered one of Israel’s more vulnerable strategic zones.

Israeli-Linked Defense Facility Set on Fire in Czech Republic, Underground Group Claims Responsibility

Israeli-Linked Defense Facility Set on Fire in Czech Republic, Underground Group Claims Responsibility

An Israeli-linked military production facility associated with Elbit Systems has been set ablaze in the Czech Republic, causing significant structural damage and raising alarms across European security agencies.

The attack occurred in Pardubice on March 20, where a key partner site involved in drone and advanced military electronics production was targeted. Authorities confirmed the fire was deliberate, though no casualties have been reported.

A group calling itself “Earthquake Faction” claimed responsibility via Telegram, describing the site as a central hub supporting Israel’s defense industry and vowing further actions against similar targets.

Czech officials have launched an urgent investigation, treating the incident as a potential act of terrorism, while intelligence units work to trace the group’s origins and possible links to wider geopolitical tensions.

The incident highlights a growing risk: the spillover of Middle East conflict into Europe where strategic military infrastructure is now increasingly becoming a target beyond traditional battlefields.

IRGC Flee to Afghanistan as Iran’s Regime Crumbles

IRGC Cowards Flee to Afghanistan as Iran’s Regime Crumbles

Masked Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members—once feared enforcers of the mullahs’ brutal rule—are now caught on video crossing into Afghanistan with passports in hand, desperate to escape the fallout from devastating US-Israeli strikes.

Al Arabiya footage shows these IRGC rats abandoning their posts, some reportedly shaving beards to avoid recognition after the Supreme Leader’s death and relentless attacks shredded their command structure.

These are the same thugs who terrorized civilians for decades. Now, with top commanders eliminated, missile forces crippled, and desertions mounting, they run like cowards when real pressure arrives.

Over three million Iranians displaced, borders chaotic, and the regime’s grip slipping fast—proof the theocracy is finally cracking under decisive force.

The IRGC only knows bravery against unarmed protesters. Against determined enemies, they vanish. The end of this oppressive era can’t come soon enough.

Trump Defends Decisive Action Against Iran: ‘We Are Decimating Them—It’s About Time’

President Trump Defends Decisive Action Against Iran: ‘We Are Decimating Them—It’s About Time’

On the South Lawn today, President Trump fielded a direct question from a reporter about potential additional U.S. troop deployments to the Middle East amid Operation Epic Fury.

Reporter: “Are you deploying additional troops to the region for deterrence or to optimize your operational capabilities?”

President Trump: “I would say this, that if I told you the answer to that question, my military people wouldn’t be very happy—but we have a lot of troops, we have unlimited ammunition, we have the greatest equipment in the world, and we are decimating Iran. It’s about time, and frankly, it should have been done long before me.”

U.S. Precision Strike Wipes Out Key Iranian Drone Factory

U.S. Precision Strike Wipes Out Key Iranian Drone Factory

On March 12, 2026, U.S. forces delivered a decisive blow to Iran’s drone warfare capability, completely destroying the Esfahan Khomeynishahr Drone Production Plant. This facility built Shahed one-way attack drones that the Iranian regime has used to target sites across the region

Before-and-after satellite photos released by U.S. Central Command show the site intact on March 3 and reduced to rubble following precision-guided strikes.

The attack marks another major setback to Iran’s defense industry amid ongoing operations to dismantle its missile and drone production network.

Trump Rejects Ceasefire

Trump Rejects Ceasefire
President Trump shut down any talk of a ceasefire with Iran, delivering a blunt message to reporters as the U.S.-led campaign enters its third week.

“I don’t want to do a ceasefire,” Trump said. “You don’t do a ceasefire when you’re literally obliterating the other side!”

He hammered home America’s total dominance on the battlefield.

“They’ve got no navy, they’ve got no air force, they’ve got no equipment left, they’ve got no leadership left,” Trump declared. “We’re dominating. We’re in total control. Why would I give them a ceasefire? So they can regroup? No way.”

The president made clear he’s open to dialogue but not to pausing the fight while Iran is on the ropes. “We can have dialogue. We can talk. But I don’t want to do a ceasefire right now,” he added earlier in the exchange.

NATO Withdraws All Personnel from Iraq as Conflict Escalates

NATO Withdraws All Personnel from Iraq as Conflict Escalates

The NATO has confirmed the full withdrawal of its personnel from Iraq, relocating all staff back to Europe amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

A statement from NATO’s European command said the move was necessary as the security situation has become “too dangerous” to maintain operations on the ground.

Military sources indicated that staying in Iraq under current conditions is “no longer appropriate,” especially as NATO facilities near the US Embassy in Baghdad have been repeatedly targeted by missiles and drones since the conflict erupted on February 28.

Iraqi security officials reported that at least 45 personnel, including US troops, were evacuated from bases on Friday morning local time.

Despite the sudden withdrawal, Baghdad emphasized there is “no conflict” with the United States or NATO, describing the move as a temporary measure due to rising security concerns.

“INVISIBLE” £300BN WARPLANE EXPOSED BY BASIC HEAT SENSOR

“INVISIBLE” £300BN WARPLANE EXPOSED BY BASIC HEAT SENSOR

The F-35 Lightning II was meant to be untouchable the crown jewel of modern warfare, engineered over three decades at a staggering cost of more than $400 billion. Built by Lockheed Martin, it promised near-total invisibility, evading radar and advanced detection systems alike.

But in a stunning twist, that illusion may have cracked. Reports suggest that over Iran on March 19, 2026, a relatively simple infrared search and track (IRST) system detected and tracked the supposedly “invisible” jet not through cutting-edge wizardry, but by picking up its intense heat signature.

The implications are explosive. If confirmed, the data could ripple across global powers like Russia and China, reshaping military strategy overnight.

For pilots, the psychological shift may be just as damaging: the sky is no longer theirs alone — and invisibility, it seems, was never absolute.

African migrants and other non-Jewish groups in Israel are being pushed into unsafe spaces, even hiding in tunnels during missile attacks, while Israelis access proper bomb shelters

By Hopewell Chin’ono

African migrants and other non-Jewish groups in Israel are being pushed into unsafe spaces, even hiding in tunnels during missile attacks, while Israelis access proper bomb shelters.

The tragedy is that some Africans still run around like headless chickens, loudly declaring their allegiance to Israel, chanting “God of Israel” without understanding the reality on the ground.

It is like slaves declaring their allegiance to the slave master. Ignorance is truly a tragic burden.

Why is it that some Africans can be so foolish and ignorant, clinging to foreign prophets and other people’s ancestors, and forcing themselves into spaces where they are not wanted? It is deeply shameful and speaks to a broader crisis of self-awareness and identity.

Colonialism did a real number on Africans. It did not just take land and resources only, it reshaped minds, distorted identity, and left many still looking outward for validation instead of inward for strength.
