Step aside in the event of an uprising- Israeli intelligence warns Iranian commanders

WALL STREET JOURNAL: Israeli intelligence reportedly contacted Iranian commanders and warned them, and their families, to step aside in the event of an uprising. A recording said to involve Mossad captures a mix of threats and appeals:

“Meanwhile, Israeli intelligence officials began placing calls to individual commanders, threatening them and their families by name if they didn’t stand aside in the event of an uprising, according to people familiar with the matter.”

“The Journal reviewed the contents of one call between a senior Iranian police commander and an agent of the Mossad, Israel’s foreign-intelligence service.”

“Can you hear me?” a Mossad agent can be heard, speaking in Farsi. “We know everything about you. You are on our blacklist, and we have all the information about you.”

“OK,” the commander said in the recording.
“I called to warn you in advance that you should stand with your people’s side,” the Mossad agent said. “And if you will not do that, your destiny will be as your leader. Do you hear me?”

“Brother, I swear on the Quran, I’m not your enemy,” the commander said. “I’m a dead man

Iran Strikes Qatar’s Ras Laffan: Major Damage at World’s Largest LNG Hub

Iran Strikes Qatar’s Ras Laffan: Major Damage at World’s Largest LNG Hub

On March 18, 2026, Iranian ballistic missiles struck Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City, home to the planet’s biggest liquefied natural gas export facility. QatarEnergy confirmed extensive damage and fires at the site, with civil defense teams working to contain the blaze. Air defenses intercepted most incoming projectiles, but at least one caused direct impact.

No casualties were reported. Production at the complex—already halted earlier this month—remains offline. The facility accounts for roughly one-fifth of global LNG supply, critical for Asia and Europe.

Qatar’s government condemned the attack as blatant aggression and expelled Iranian military attaches. The strike follows Israeli action against Iran’s South Pars gas field, part of the escalating U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict.

Oil prices jumped sharply, with Brent crude climbing over 7 percent amid fears of wider disruption in the Strait of Hormuz. Markets now face the risk of prolonged supply shortfalls and higher energy costs worldwide.

Israeli Intelligence: US Poised for Major Operation to Break Iran’s Hormuz Blockade

Israeli sources report American military forces, led by the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli and thousands of Marines, are building up for a sustained effort to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

The channel, vital for roughly one-fifth of world oil shipments, remains choked by Iranian attacks and mines since early March.

According to assessments shared with Israeli officials, the planned multi-week action aims to end Tehran’s interference and restore free passage.

Israel would supply intelligence support, while some Gulf states may contribute naval assets. President Trump has pressed allies to dispatch warships and join the push.

The deployment follows weeks of U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iranian targets, including missile sites and energy infrastructure. Iran has declared the strait closed and vowed to maintain disruptions, driving oil prices sharply higher and threatening global supply chains.

No official American confirmation has detailed the full scope or timeline. The move signals Washington’s determination to counter Iran’s economic pressure tactics amid the ongoing conflict.

Pentagon begs for a jaw-dropping $200 billion to continue funding Trump’s war against Iran — more than the Iraq War cost in a single year

BREAKING: HELL NO! Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon begs for a jaw-dropping $200 billion to continue funding Trump’s illegal war against Iran — more than the Iraq War cost in a single year.

These are the same people who insist that we can’t afford universal healthcare…

“The Pentagon asked the White House today for more than *$200 billion* for the Iran war supplemental, sources say,” reported The Washington Post’s Jeff Stein on X.  “Some White House aides think Congress won’t support b/c it’s so big.  Will tee up giant battle in Congress.”

Senator Ruben Gallego saw the tweet and quickly weighed in—

“At the height of combat the Iraq War cost around $140 Billion per year,” he wrote. “If the Pentagon is asking for $200 billion they are asking for a long war. The answer is a simple no.”

The Post reports that the new request would “far surpass the costs of the administration’s massive airstrike campaign to date.” It’s possible that the Trump administration, recognizing the uphill battle it faces on this, might ultimately ask for a number lower than that $200 billion, but even a penny more spent on this disastrous war is too much.

It must be pointed out that Trump never asked Congress to declare war as required of him by the Constitution. This is a lawless military campaign on behalf of Israel and serves zero American interests. Our soldiers are dying and our tax dollars are going up in smoke so that a foreign nation can expand its power in the Middle East.

Absurdly, Trump claimed on March 9th that “the war is very complete, pretty much.”  That was obviously a transparent lie. This war is not over and will not be over any time soon because Trump doesn’t even have a clear objective beyond “drop more bombs.” This conflict is spiraling out of control with no end in sight

Meanwhile, Iran has repeatedly rebuffed efforts by the White House to reopen negotiations because they know that they can’t trust Trump and they’re determined to exact such a steep price from their enemies that the U.S. and Israel never consider attacking them again.

The Strait of Hormuz is closed to western ships, oil prices are skyrocketing, and we’re barreling towards a recession. And now Pete Hegseth is asking for more of our money to murder more children.

No more money for war!

US warship ‘Tripoli’ arrives in Singapore with 2,500 Marines, resupplies before heading toward Strait of Hormuz

The US Navy amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LHA-7) has arrived in Singapore carrying about 2,500 US Marines, making a brief logistical stop to refuel and replenish supplies before continuing its deployment.

After departing Singapore, the vessel is expected to sail across the Indian Ocean toward the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

The movement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, where the narrow waterway remains one of the world’s most critical routes for global energy shipments.

The USS Tripoli (LHA-7) is one of the US Navy’s newest amphibious assault ships, capable of supporting expeditionary operations, crisis response missions, and maritime security patrols.

US Intelligence Says Iran ‘Severely Weakened’ but Still Holding Power

US Intelligence Says Iran ‘Severely Weakened’ but Still Holding Power

U.S. intelligence officials have assessed that Iran’s government has been significantly weakened but remains intact, amid ongoing pressure following recent conflict developments.

Speaking before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard stated that while Iran’s leadership structure has suffered substantial setbacks, it still retains the ability to endure and potentially recover if conditions allow.

The assessment comes after weeks of intensified military activity targeting key leadership figures and strategic capabilities, contributing to what officials describe as a notable decline in the country’s overall stability.

Gabbard also referenced past U.S. operations that reportedly disrupted Iran’s nuclear-related capabilities, noting that there have been no confirmed signs of reconstruction efforts since then.

The evaluation suggests a fragile balance—where pressure continues to mount, but collapse is not imminent.

How Senegal Lost AFCON 2025 Off the Pitch — Motsepe Not Involved

How Senegal Lost AFCON 2025 Off the Pitch — Motsepe Not Involved

As Senegal continue to come to terms with the shock of losing the AFCON 2025 title outside the field of play, clearer information has now emerged about who was truly responsible for the decision.

Importantly, the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, did not take part in the ruling. The decision was made by a six-member CAF Appeal Board, acting independently.

The board was led by Justice Roli Daibo from Nigeria, who served as Chairman. He was assisted by Faustino Varela of Cape Verde as Vice Chairman. Other members included Moez Ben Tahar (Tunisia), Moses Ikanga (Namibia), Hamoud Bowbe (Mauritania), and Mohamed Djama (Djibouti).

After reviewing the case, the Appeal Board ruled in favor of Morocco, resulting in the AFCON 2025 trophy being taken away from Senegal.

Since the decision, emotions have remained high. Many Senegalese fans now see Nigeria as a major rival, believing the country played a key role in the outcome due to the nationality of the board chairman. This perception has further fueled tension and debate across African football.

The controversy has once again sparked serious discussions about fairness, transparency, and confidence in CAF’s decision-making process.

Cuba Sets Red Line in Talks with U.S.  “No Regime Change”

Cuba Sets Red Line in Talks with U.S.  “No Regime Change”

Cuba has made its position clear to the United States, signaling openness to negotiations on multiple fronts but with one non-negotiable condition: no changes to its political system.

The statement came from a senior Cuban diplomat in Washington, who подчеркнул that the two nations, as neighbors, cannot avoid dialogue and should engage on key issues.

Havana expressed willingness to discuss a range of topics, including economic cooperation and increased foreign investment. However, it firmly emphasized that its political system remains a “red line” and cannot be used as a bargaining chip.

The stance underscores Cuba’s determination to safeguard its political sovereignty, amid long-standing tensions and deep-rooted mistrust in its relationship with the United States.

U.S. Pushes Syria to Deploy Troops into Eastern Lebanon  Aiming to Disarm Hezbollah

Reuters, citing diplomatic and intelligence sources, reports that the United States is engaged in quiet negotiations to encourage Syria to consider deploying military forces into eastern Lebanon to assist in disarming Hezbollah, the Iran-backed group.

According to details of the proposal, Washington has effectively given Syria a “green light” to conduct cross-border operations targeting Hezbollah positions in the Bekaa Valley, a key strategic region.

However, the Syrian government under President Ahmed al-Sharaa is reportedly hesitant, fearing that entering the Lebanese battlefield could drag Syria into a full-scale conflict and potentially trigger missile retaliation from Iran.

The development highlights growing regional complexity, as major powers explore indirect strategies to counter Hezbollah’s influence.

Marco Rubio Denies U.S. Role in Alleged Pressure to Remove Cuba’s President

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has rejected reports claiming Washington is behind efforts to pressure Cuba into removing President Miguel Díaz-Canel, calling the allegations “fake news” and based solely on unverified insider claims.

The report, attributed to The New York Times, suggested the U.S. had engaged in political maneuvering toward Cuba, though not explicitly pushing for regime change. Rubio, however, did not clarify which parts of the report were inaccurate.

He emphasized that Cuba’s economy remains fragile and heavily dependent on external support, historically from the Soviet Union and currently from Venezuela, warning that the system is struggling to sustain itself

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has intensified rhetoric toward Cuba, describing the country as increasingly weak and hinting that the U.S. could intervene or influence internal changes.

At the same time, Washington continues to increase pressure on Havana, particularly through energy restrictions, contributing to ongoing fuel shortages and a worsening economic crisis across the island.

The situation reflects deepening tensions, as both sides navigate a fragile and increasingly volatile relationship.

MEXICO OFFERS TO HOST IRAN’S WORLD CUP GROUP GAMES IN 2026

MEXICO OFFERS TO HOST IRAN’S WORLD CUP GROUP GAMES IN 2026

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has publicly offered to stage Iran’s group-stage matches on Mexican soil for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, stepping in after Iran raised serious safety and logistical concerns about playing in the United States.

The proposal comes amid ongoing US travel restrictions, sanctions, and heightened geopolitical tensions that have made US-hosted games problematic for the Iranian national team.

With the tournament co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, Sheinbaum framed the offer as a straightforward act of sporting solidarity and diplomatic goodwill.

FIFA has acknowledged the discussions are active but has not confirmed any venue changes or final decisions. Despite viral claims on social media insisting the offer was already rejected, no such rejection has been officially issued by FIFA or the Iranian federation.

The announcement—paired with side-by-side images of Sheinbaum and the Mexican and Iranian flags—quickly exploded online, drawing more than 25,000 likes on the original post.

Reactions range from cheers for creative diplomacy to sharp warnings about cartel violence risks and longstanding accusations of FIFA corruption.

As of mid-March 2026, the situation remains fluid: Iran still needs viable host venues, Mexico is willing to step up, and the world’s biggest sporting event is watching closely.

Iran Executes Swedish Citizen Over Alleged Espionage for Israel

Iran Executes Swedish Citizen Over Alleged Espionage for Israel

Iran has executed a Swedish national accused of spying for Israel, according to international reports, marking a significant escalation in tensions surrounding human rights concerns.

Sweden’s Foreign Minister, Maria Malmer Stenergard, confirmed the execution and strongly criticized the legal process, stating that it lacked fundamental safeguards. The Swedish government has continued to condemn what it describes as serious human rights violations in Iran.

While authorities have not officially disclosed the identity of the individual, local media reports suggest the person was a dual national arrested in mid-2025 on charges of intelligence cooperation with Israel. Iran does not recognize dual citizenship, complicating diplomatic efforts throughout the case.

This marks the third execution this year in Iran linked to alleged espionage for foreign governments, raising growing international concern.

The situation is likely to intensify scrutiny on Iran’s judicial actions and its relations with Western nations.

Pressure Builds Around Hungary’s Election

 POLITICS — Pressure Builds Around Hungary’s Election

U.S. Vice President JD Vance is expected to visit Hungary to show support for Prime Minister Viktor Orbán ahead of a tight election.

And it is tight.

Recent polling shows:
▪️ Opposition Tisza Party ~44–45%
▪️ Orbán’s Fidesz ~41–42%

Some projections show an even wider gap — especially among decided voters.

For the first time in years, Orbán isn’t comfortably in control.
He’s fighting to hold onto power.

This isn’t just about Hungary.

Orbán has:
▪️ Blocked EU support for Ukraine
▪️ Repeatedly aligned closer to Russia’s position than Europe’s

Now, outside support is stepping in — right as the numbers tighten.

That timing isn’t random.

It’s a sign of something simple:

this election could actually go either way.

Immediate former CAF Vice President and ex-Senegal FA President Augustin Senghor speaks

SENEGAL 
Football News
 Immediate former CAF Vice President and ex-Senegal FA President Augustin Senghor speaks:

Senegalese Football Federation will appeal to CAS …….

GROUNDS FOR APPEAL

GROUND 1:
The CAF Appeal Board Exceeded Its Jurisdiction by Overriding the Referee’s Final Authority.

The referee’s decision to resume play was a final “fact connected with play” under IFAB Law 5.

The match referee, Jean-Jacques Ndala, faced with Senegal’s walk-off, made an active decision NOT to abandon the match.

He waited for the players to return, confirmed their willingness to continue, and restarted play.

He then officiated the remainder of the match, including extra time, and signalled its conclusion.

Under IFAB Law 5, this sequence of decisions constitutes “facts connected with play” that are “final” and not subject to retroactive revision by a disciplinary body.

The referee’s judgment that the match could and should continue is entitled to absolute deference.

GROUND 2:
The Match Was Completed; Therefore Articles 82 and 84 Cannot Apply Retroactively.

Articles 82 and 84 are designed for matches that are ABANDONED, not matches that are COMPLETED.

Article 84 contains a critical qualification: “unless the opponent has scored a more advantageous result at the time when the match was interrupted, in this case this score will be maintained” .

This provision contemplates a scenario where a match is INTERRUPTED and NEVER RESUMED.

It allows the score at interruption to stand if advantageous to the non-offending team.

But here, the match WAS resumed.

It WAS completed.

The “time when the match was interrupted” is irrelevant because the match continued to its natural conclusion.

CAF’s interpretation would require ignoring 90+ minutes of football played AFTER the interruption.

No precedent exists for overturning a completed match.

As multiple media sources confirm, “there is no known instance of a major football final being overturned and the title being awarded to another team”.

This alone demonstrates the extraordinary and legally untenable nature of CAF’s decision.

GROUND 3:
The Principle of “Sporting Results Should Be Left Unturned”

CAS has “consistently applied a restrictive approach” to overturning results.

In a recent published decision (CAS), the panel stated:

“It is a general principle in the context of sports law that sporting results should, in principle, be left unturned, i.e. the sporting result shall be determined on the field and not by a court after the particular match or competition”.

This principle applies with particular force where, as here, the CAF Disciplinary Board itself initially declined to disturb the result .

Only upon Morocco’s appeal, two months later, was the result overturned.

The legal certainty that underpins all sporting competition requires that once a trophy is lifted and celebrations held, the result is final absent extraordinary circumstances.

No such circumstances exist here.

The grounds Senegal has to win this case are a lot.

Wishing Senegal all the best !!!!

US Mass-Producing Low-Cost LUCAS Drones to Counter Iranian Threats

US Mass-Producing Low-Cost LUCAS Drones to Counter Iranian Threats

The Pentagon is ramping up production of the Low-Cost Uncrewed Combat Attack System (LUCAS), a $35,000 kamikaze drone reverse-engineered from Iran’s Shahed-136 design.

Developed by Arizona-based SpektreWorks, LUCAS delivers similar range and payload at a fraction of the cost of traditional cruise missiles, which often exceed $1 million each.

CENTCOM deployed LUCAS in late 2025 under Task Force Scorpion Strike, with its first combat use during Operation Epic Fury against Iranian targets. Admiral Brad Cooper has called the system “indispensable” for enabling high-volume, precise strikes that overwhelm defenses through swarm tactics.

https://youtu.be/pDPmCfMJ3Kk?si=XYBe-NIu_s_TQpeW

By adopting and improving an enemy concept, the U.S. military shifts toward affordable, attritable munitions suited to sustained conflict.

This pragmatic move restores balance against low-cost drone threats and demonstrates American engineering’s ability to adapt and outproduce adversaries.

Production scale-up aims to field thousands, ensuring decisive advantage in the evolving battlefield.

Iranian Strikes Hit at Least 10 Critical U.S. & Allied Radar Sites Across Middle East – Satellite Analysis Reveals Significant Damage

 Breaking News : Iranian Strikes Hit at Least 10 Critical U.S. & Allied Radar Sites Across Middle East – Satellite Analysis Reveals Significant Damage

ABC News has confirmed through detailed analysis of commercial satellite imagery and verified videos that Iran and its proxy forces have conducted at least 10 strikes on advanced radar installations across the Middle East since the current conflict began more than two weeks ago.

The targeted systems include high-value U.S. missile defense radars such as the AN/TPY-2 (used with THAAD systems) and the advanced AN/FPS-132 phased-array radar in Qatar. Multiple sites show visible damage, though the full extent remains under assessment due to limited high-resolution imagery.

Defense experts warn that these strikes are strategically significant: the radars are vital for early warning and tracking of incoming missiles. Damaging them can “partially blind” allied air and missile defense networks, reducing reaction time across the region.

More than 25 sites at seven military bases in at least five countries Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain have reportedly been affected.

This represents one of the most direct and sustained campaigns against U.S. and allied defensive infrastructure in the region to date.

Gay Ex-LGBT Activist Ditches the Left: “I’m Voting Republican Down the Fking Line”

Gay Ex-LGBT Activist Ditches the Left: “I’m Voting Republican Down the Fking Line”

In a powerful wake-up call that’s lighting up conservative circles, former LGBT activist Corilynnd has officially walked away from the radical left and declared her allegiance to sanity, freedom, and America First values.

“I’m officially coming out as a Republican. The Left has truly swayed me over to the Right,” she said in a no-holds-barred video.

“I’m voting Republican down the f*cking line. I’m done. Next thing Trump should do is bring back insane asylums.”

Lynd’s breaking point came after vicious backlash for the simple act of defending a grieving mother who dared to use both names for her deceased trans-identifying child. The left’s mob turned on her fast, even stooping to misgender her late mother in a disgusting display of intolerance and hate.

From her video: “All right y’all, I’m officially coming out as a Republican. The Left has truly swayed me over to the Right. And I think they’re proud of it too because all of this stupid controversy going on because of like a comment that I made on a TikTok video.

The Left mob is absolutely losing its mind. And I used to be on the Left. I used to be gung-ho LGBT. I was an activist for the LGBT people before they were, like, gays even had illegal rights to marry.

I was going out and I was a Glenn Sen representative in my school district. But at this point, I don’t want to be associated with the LGBT either, despite even being gay, because I can’t stand y’all anymore. Like, I make one comment about a grieving mother who was very respectful about how they were referring to their trans child, by the way.

They were referring to them as both Michael and Lexi. And in the comments of people that actually knew her child were referring to her child as Michael. And she was shit on in the comments for referring to her child as her son.

Because the Left, the trans mob, will never accept that. They can’t let a woman who is taking responsibility for not being a present enough mother, for not loving her child enough, for who is trying to be a better person and being vulnerable in her grief journey, it’s still not good enough. So they have to shit all over her and kick someone when they’re down. Right?

Because that’s the righteous thing to do if you’re part of the trans mob, insane, like liberal left. So I make a comment just basically supporting the mom saying, you have every right to refer to your child as your son. Apparently, that’s the worst thing you could ever possibly do as a human being.

Because I have people coming onto my page, screenshotting my TikToks, to shit on my appearance and put in the comments there. Meanwhile, they look identical to me. They’re just white liberal women, just flooding the TikTok, that they look like me, like basic white girls. But they’re going to shit on my appearance because I said one thing that they disagreed with.

Just, it’s like, tell me you’re mentally ill without telling me you’re mentally ill. Like they’re advertising it online at this point. And then just the bullying, like coming to my page when you don’t know me, because I made a comment on someone’s TikTok that you don’t know them either, coming to my page to find videos of me grieving my dead mom for you to go, you know, talk about him and just misgendering my mom to try to offend me.

Like, I don’t get offended by pronouns and little tiny words like she, her, he, it, they, like you do. And the fact that you would even go to like my page to shit on my dead mom. Like, hello? Is it, are you, is this you trying to convince me to get to your side on the left to be pro trans?

I was never anti-trans. And anyone that knows me knows this. I’ve never been shitty to any of the trans people in my life. I’ve been nothing but supportive. Like, I just, like, hello? So, yeah, at this point, I’m coming out, I’m voting Republican down the fking line. I’m done. And I don’t know, next thing Trump should do is bring back insane asylums and put these fking people in it. Thank you and goodbye.”

CHINA IS RUNNING THE MOST BRILLIANT HEIST IN HISTORY AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT

Opinion  CHINA IS RUNNING THE MOST BRILLIANT HEIST IN HISTORY AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT

Let me show you the evidence. Every single piece of it.

PIECE 1: THE MISSILES THAT SHOULDN’T EXIST

The US bombed Iran’s missile sites.

Pentagon said the threat was destroyed.

Then Iran kept launching missiles.

How?

Reuters confirmed it: Iran was in talks to buy supersonic anti-ship missiles directly from China.

Global Defense Corps reported China secretly sent $5 billion in weapons to Iran.

Iran’s own Foreign Minister admitted it.

He called China a “strategic partner” giving Iran “military cooperation.”

Iran is still shooting because China is still supplying.

PIECE 2: THE B-2 THAT CHINA COULD SEE

The B-2 Spirit is America’s most advanced stealth bomber.

It’s supposed to be invisible.

A Chinese company called Jingan Technology said their AI system “Jingqi” intercepted radio signals from B-2 bombers during the March 1 strike on Iran.

They detected US military mobilization weeks before the attack.

China was watching every US move in real time.

PIECE 3: THE YUAN THAT KILLS THE DOLLAR

Iran just announced something that should terrify every person holding US dollars.

Oil tankers can pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

But only if they pay in yuan.

Not dollars. Yuan.

The mBridge platform, China’s cross-border payment system, already processed $55 billion in transactions.

95% of that volume was in digital yuan.

PIECE 4: THE ALLIES WHO SAID NO

The US asked NATO to join the war.

Every single NATO ally refused.

Then Trump asked China to send warships to the Gulf.

China said no.

PIECE 5: THE BILL NOBODY CAN PAY

The Pentagon admitted the war cost $15 billion

That’s just the part they’re counting.

China’s cost: zero.

China’s gain: cheap discounted oil, global credibility, yuan adoption, US military distracted from Taiwan.

Every dollar the US spends in this war is a dollar that doesn’t go toward competing with China.

Every week of war makes the dollar weaker.

Every week of war makes the yuan stronger.

Every week of war pushes more countries into China’s orbit.

This isn’t a war between the US and Iran.

This is China using Iran as a weapon against America.

And it’s working.

USS Gerald R. Ford—the largest, most expensive aircraft carrier ever built—is burning, breaking, and embarrassing the empire

US NAVY’S PRIDE ON FIRE: 600 Sailors Without Bunks Aboard $13 Billion Warship

The USS Gerald R. Ford—the largest, most expensive aircraft carrier ever built—is burning, breaking, and embarrassing the empire.

The New York Times reveals new details of last week’s fire. The damage isn’t from Iranian missiles. It’s from… a laundry room.

What happened:

 Fire in main laundry area
⏱️ 30+ hours to extinguish
 Dozens suffered smoke inhalation
️ 600+ sailors lost bunks—sleeping on floors, tables
識 Many can’t do laundry since

The context:

 Cost: $13 billion
 Deployed 10 months straight (Navy norm: 6)
 Previous toilet problems.

The question: When the empire’s mightiest ship is crippled by laundry—what’s left of the deterrent?

THE ECONOMY IS COLLAPSING…We have no alternative but to push them aside and usher in a new leadership in August 2026- Fred M’membe

THE ECONOMY IS COLLAPSING

The economy of our country has collapsed but our rulers want to pretend that all is well, that it’s just sabotage but business as usual.

They don’t even want to talk about the collapsing economy. They are occupying themselves with petty things that really don’t matter. They can try to evade this reality, but they will not be able to evade the consequences of evading this reality.

They are busy trying imingalatos on their opponents. But a sensible leader is not motivated by the desire to annihilate others, but by the desire to solve problems and make life better for his people.

It’s very clear that our rulers are failing to reason, to think. Probably we are expecting too much from them. Reason is not automatic. And those who deny it cannot be conquered by it. We shouldn’t count on them to address this problem and make things better.

Everyone can see that our economy has collapsed. It can’t be concealed. The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see or acknowledge.

We have no alternative but to push them aside and usher in a new leadership in August 2026.

ZAMBIANS HAVE MADE UP THEIR MINDS TO CHANGE GOVERNMENT – NYASULU

ZAMBIANS HAVE MADE UP THEIR MINDS TO CHANGE GOVERNMENT – NYASULU

… calls on the opposition political parties to avoid “intra- opposition’ competition and fights.

LUSAKA, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2026

Citizens First Lusaka Mayoral aspiring candidate Victor Nyasulu says Zambians have made up their minds to change Government looking at the combined opposition results from the three recently held by – elections.

Speaking when he featured on the HK8 weekly conversation weekly program on KBN last night, Mr. Nyasulu said it is now time for the opposition to find a winning formula inorder to unseat the UPND in the August 2026 elections.

He said opposition political parties should now concentrate on explaining to Zambians why they are better than the UPND Government.

“We need to find a winning formula.  A casual analysis of the three recently held by – elections indicate that all the opposition results put together was much more than what the UPND got. All these by – elections are saying what Zambians are saying, they have made up there minds, ” Mr. Nyasulu said.

And Mr. Nyasulu urged opposition political parties to avoid what he termed ‘intra – opposition’ fights and competition adding that the real competition should be with the UPND Government.

“I believe that Memorandum of Understandings among opposition political parties are very important, imagine a situation where all the aspiring opposition presidential candidates seat in one room and produce a single unified candidate and running mate,” Mr. Nyasulu said.

Meanwhile Mr. Nyasulu who is also former Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency director general ssid he has every reason to have moved from the UPND to PF and now to Citizens First party adding that his loyalty belongs to what is good for Zambia.

“I am loyal to what is good  for Zambia and Zambians ought not to worry. I think at a certain time solutions to our problems will be found and because of the dynamism of our politics and life, different parties are good for different times. The mistreatment I received from Government made me leave UPND, ” Mr. Nyasulu said.

PF CONSENT JUDGEMENT WILL KNOCK OUT LUBINDA, MUDOLO AND MAKEBI FROM THE PF RACE

PF CONSENT JUDGEMENT WILL KNOCK OUT LUBINDA, MUDOLO AND MAKEBI FROM THE PF RACE

The matter of the PF currently before the courts of law since 2023 is more complicated and has more implications than many think.

After Miles Sampa reconciled with the PF leadership, he entered into a consent agreement with the party which was later filed in court. Some notable clauses of the consent include but not limited to;

1. Miles admission that his 24th October, 2023 convention at Mulungushi conference center was illegal.
2. That the PF returns to it’s original owners in reference to the list of PF office bearers at registrar of societies.

Now here’s the cliché, if this consent judgement goes in favor of Miles Sampa, it means that the PF party will go back to the list where Edgar Chagwa Lungu was PF president and Davis Mwila was  Secretary General (ROS records).

Meaning neither, Nakacinda, Mukandila nor Miles Sampa will be SG of the PF party. Davis Mwila will legally be the official Secretary General of the Patriotic Front.

Since this case involves PF Presidential candidates that initially paid the nomination fees of K200,000, it’s most likely that the judgement will instruct the original office bearers headed by SG Mwila to go ahead with a convention as planned before Miles converned his confessed illegal convention.

Now we all know that Hon. Given Lubinda, Willah Mudolo and Hon. Makebi Zulu, joined the race after the demise of ECL and this case was already active in court, this will technically, disqualify the three, they won’t participate in the convention for they were not part of aggrieved candidates that went to court against Miles Sampa their fellow candidate.

Therefore, the only eligible candidates in this scenario would be;

1. Brian Mundubile
2. Chishimba Kambwili
3. Mutotwe Kafwaya
4. Chitalu Chilufya
5. Miles Sampa
6. Greyford Monde
7. Chanda Katotobwe

This perhaps gives an idea why Hon. Given Lubinda has called for a convention slated for tomorrow Thursday (according to a 4 days outmetum) and also a different stance from Dr. Kambwili, suggesting to have the convention after the consent judgement on 27th March, 2026.

This is my personal opinion in a layman’s understanding.

🇿🇲 BRIEFING | Kalaba Criticises 24-Hour Economy Plan as Online Backlash Mounts

Opposition leader Harry Kalaba has sharply criticised the government’s newly announced 24-hour economy policy, arguing that Zambia lacks the economic activity required to sustain round-the-clock commercial operations.

The criticism follows Cabinet’s approval of the policy earlier this week, which proposes allowing businesses, markets and transport hubs to operate throughout the day and night as part of broader efforts to stimulate economic growth and job creation.

In a post shared on social media, Kalaba dismissed the proposal in blunt terms.

“You can’t open an economy for 24 hours when there is no economy to talk about. Where the economy operates 24 hours, there is activity in that economy and people have money to spend. None of these exist.”

The remarks quickly triggered a wave of reactions online, with many social media users pushing back against the former foreign affairs minister’s position.

Several commentators argued that the policy is intended precisely to expand economic activity rather than wait for it to emerge on its own, noting that extended trading hours could create opportunities for small businesses, transport operators and informal traders.

Others pointed out that in many cities across Africa and beyond, informal economies already function late into the night, suggesting that government’s move could simply formalise practices that already exist in markets, bus stations and urban trading centres.

The debate reflects a broader national discussion about whether Zambia has the infrastructure, security and consumer demand necessary to support a fully functioning night-time economy.

Supporters of the policy say a structured 24-hour system could spread economic activity across longer operating hours, create new work shifts and improve service delivery in sectors such as retail, logistics and transport.

Critics, however, have raised concerns about issues such as security, electricity supply and consumer purchasing power, arguing that these factors will ultimately determine whether the policy succeeds.

For now, the government has yet to release detailed implementation guidelines, leaving questions about how and when businesses will transition into round-the-clock operations.

What is clear is that the proposal has already ignited a lively political and public debate, with the country weighing whether the concept represents a bold economic reform or a policy whose success will depend heavily on Zambia’s underlying economic realities.

SIMUUWE CLARIFIES UPND CONVENTION MODE

SIMUUWE CLARIFIES UPND CONVENTION MODE

UPND media director Mark Simuuwe has clarified that the governing party’s convention is not tied to the country’s general elections.

Mr Simuuwe said the party’s internal processes are guided strictly by its constitution and structured systems of representation.

Speaking to the media yesterday, Mr Simuuwe said the party’s constitution provides for regular intra-party elections, but does not prescribe a uniform time frame as political parties operate under different constitutional provisions.

He said the UPND convention, which is held every five years, is distinct from the general election, stating that what is tied to the national elections is only the nomination of a presidential candidate.

“The convention is not tied to the general election. What is tied to the general election is the nomination of a presidential candidate, and the two processes should not be confused,” Mr Simuuwe said.

He said the UPND constitution allows members to contest for the presidency at every convention without limitation, unlike the national Constitution, which imposes term limits on the head of State.

“The UPND is more organised, that’s why you don’t see here five people wanting to stand as president. President Hakainde Hichilema is within the party constitution mandate,” Mr Simuuwe said.

A 24hr-Economy Requires investment in an Infrastructure and Security Ecosystem

The Convenient store at Puma Filling Station in Longacres, and Pharmacies outside UTH and in Northmead in Lusaka have operated for 24hrs for years.

For the public sector, Police Stations and Health facilities have also operated 24hrs for years.

But to make this widepsread,multi-sectoral and feasible, there are basic infrastructure, security and operational support that must be done.

Good roads, street lighting, police stations, police patrols remain non-negotiable in implementing a 24hr economy.

1. Public transport- public transport dies in Zambia by 21-22hrs. Only expensive taxis operate 24hrs in designated places like bars. So the immediate bottleneck to resolve os puvlic transport.

2. With junkies roaming the streets and ruling the night, burglars terrorising residents and thieves’ beginning their official shift, it becomes extremely imperative that security is enhanced, police patrols (buy Police vehicle and give them FUEL ⛽️).

3. Anyone carrying a parcel, last-minute shopping of milk, bread, sugar etc, anyone carrying a phone attracts thieves. It is worse in the night.

4. Government must immediately open certain government services to 24 hrs where they have unacceptable huge backlogs such as issuance of drivers’ licence, NRC, Passports, and land titles. This will give government an opportunity of operational matters reqyired to improve in order to make this a reality.

Further, make the current 8hr-economy work. Listen to the business community that complains about bureacracy, numerous business licences required, limited, expensive office and trading spaces, access to cheap finance, lower taxes, guarantee infrastructure support such as reliable power, roads, street lights and more importantly, improve the purchasing power of citizens by creating decent jobs, and economic opportunities.

REPORT AND WALK AWAY FROM THAT POLITICAL PARTY IF YOU ASKED FOR SEXUAL FAVOURS TO BE ADOPTED – KATEKA

REPORT AND WALK AWAY FROM THAT POLITICAL PARTY IF YOU ASKED FOR SEXUAL FAVOURS TO BE ADOPTED – KATEKA

Opposition New Heritage Party leader, Chishala Kateka, has urged women aspiring for political office ahead of this year’s general elections, to resists the temptation of sexual favours from party members for adoption.

This week, reports have emerged of female candidates being asked for sexual favours for party adoptions ahead of the August polls.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Ms. Kateka cautioned women against using their bodies as a means of gaining favour in politics.

She emphasized that leadership should not be obtained through unethical means, but rather through merit and divine purpose.

“Women must maintain their standing in God because he is the one who ordains leadership, if it is their time to lead, he will grant them that opportunity,”  said Ms. Kateka.

She has since urged women who come across such immoral requirements to walk away from the political parties and stand as independents.

Ms. Kateka stressed that taking advantage of aspiring female leaders undermines the integrity of the political system and erodes public trust.

PRESIDENT HICHILEMA DESERVES ANOTHER
5 YEAR TERM.
————————————————–

We are confident that the Zambian people in their collective intelligence will renew President Hakainde Hichilema’s mandate to govern for another five year term in the forthcoming August 13 polls.

We say so given his exemplary performance in the first five year term in office.

Indeed, the reintroduced free education policy has  seen 2.6m children, who were previously out of school as a result of their parents/guardians’ inability to afford school fees, return to school.

Children’s absenteeism has also significantly reduced as a result of the school Feeding Program, which is part of the free education policy flagship.

Further, the enhanced and expanded in scope CDF has significantly transformed lives, and has left many visible developmental  infrastructure across the country, particularly in rural areas including Western Province.

It’s indeed not a secret that the Republican President’s inclusive developmental agenda has taken unprecedented development closer to the people via devolution as this resonates well with the ruling UPND’s manifesto.

Israel claims to have killed Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib in an overnight strike in Tehran

LATEST UPDATE: Israel claims to have killed Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib in an overnight strike in Tehran.

Here is what we know right now:

The Claim: Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced early Wednesday that the Israeli military “eliminated” Khatib in a targeted strike. Iranian authorities have not yet issued a statement confirming his death..

Rapid Escalation: If confirmed, Khatib’s death would mark the third assassination of a top-tier Iranian official in just 24 hours. This follows Israel’s announcement on Tuesday regarding the deaths of senior security chief Ali Larijani and Basij paramilitary commander Gholamreza Soleimani.

Israel’s Stance: Katz stated that the military has been granted standing authorisation to target senior Iranian leaders without the need for case-by-case approval. He also warned that “significant surprises are expected throughout this day on all fronts.”

Background: Esmail Khatib is a powerful cleric who has served as Iran’s intelligence minister since August 2021. He was previously sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury in 2022 over allegations that his ministry directed cyberattacks against the U.S. and its allies.

We will continue to monitor this developing situation as more information becomes available. – Zimbo LIVE London

Trump Administration’s Bold Strategy – End kraine War to Pull Russia Away from China and Weaken Beijing’s Global Dominance

Breaking News : Trump Administration’s Bold Strategy – End Ukraine War to Pull Russia Away from China and Weaken Beijing’s Global Dominance

In a major revelation, the Trump administration is pursuing a peace deal to end Russia’s war in Ukraine not just for regional stability, but as a calculated geopolitical move to counter China viewed as America’s paramount long-term threat.

According to senior officials, incentivizing Moscow with economic ties, investments, and normalized relations could fracture the deepening Russia-China alliance, shifting the global power balance in Washington’s favor. One anonymous Trump administration source described closer U.S.-Russia alignment as potentially “very, very beneficial” against China.

This approach underscores President Trump’s belief that the growing Russia-China partnership poses a far greater risk to U.S. and global security than the ongoing conflict in Ukraine itself.

The strategy involves welcoming Russia back into economic cooperation while pressuring for a swift end to hostilities a high-stakes gamble that has raised concerns in Kyiv and among European allies.

Breaking News : Over 200 U.S. Troops Wounded Across 7 Gulf Countries – CENTCOM Confirms Sharp Rise in Operation Epic Fury C∆sualties

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has just released a major update: more than 200 American soldiers have now been inju₹ed in the ongoing Operation Epic Fury

CENTCOM spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins stated on March 16 that the wounded personnel are spread across seven countries Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Of these, more than 180 have already returned to duty after treatment.

The number is a significant jump from last week’s Pentagon briefing. The count of seriously inju₹ed service members has also climbed from 8 to 10. Most injuries occurred in the early days of the operation, with a smaller number linked to delayed effects primarily head and traumatic brain inju₹ies from the initial strikes.

This marks the highest reported U.S. c∆sualty figure since the operation began.

Ukraine Deploys 200 Air Defense Experts to Middle East to Counter Iranian Drone Threat

Ukraine Deploys 200 Air Defense Experts to Middle East to Counter Iranian Drone Threat

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that around 200 Ukrainian air defense specialists are currently deployed in the Middle East to help counter Iranian drone attacks.

The move highlights Kyiv’s growing role beyond Europe as drone warfare continues to reshape modern battlefields.

Zelensky emphasized that low-cost attack drones  particularly those used by Iran  have fundamentally changed the nature of modern warfare, forcing nations to rapidly adapt their defense strategies.

The deployment underscores increasing international coordination in responding to evolving aerial threats.

Israel Says the Man Behind Surveillance and Covert Ops Is Dead

📢 Israel Says the Man Behind Surveillance and Covert Ops Is Dead ⤵️

Tehran’s Inner Circle Just Took Another Major Blow:

Israel says Esmail Khatib, Iran’s intelligence chief, has been killed in a targeted strike in Tehran. According to the IDF, Khatib oversaw surveillance, espionage and covert operations, and was deeply involved in the arrest and killing of protesters during the Mahsa Amini unrest.

The timing is striking. Israel says the killing follows the death of Ali Larijani, a senior regime figure who had publicly threatened President Donald Trump less than a week earlier.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy: “Right now, there are 201 Ukrainians in the Middle East and the Gulf region. And another 34 are ready to deploy

Volodymyr Zelenskyy: “Right now, there are 201 Ukrainians in the Middle East and the Gulf region. And another 34 are ready to deploy.

These are military experts, experts who know how to help, how to defend against “shahed” drones. Our teams are already in the Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and on the way to Kuwait. We are working with several other countries – agreements are already in place. We do not want this terror of the Iranian regime against its neighbors to succeed.

And I sent these military experts at the request of our partners – including the United States.

In fact, this is part of the Drone Deal we proposed to the United States, which we worked on together and which is still on the table.

And we are ready to offer similar deals to all our reliable partners – from practical cooperation on drones to future defense alliances.

And I don’t think anyone would want to leave Ukraine’s war-proven strength and capability outside their security. If someone does, it wouldn’t be wise.

The United Kingdom sees these opportunities clearly – our agreements are always solid, and I’m glad that today we have signed a declaration with the Prime Minister. Thank you very much, Keir.”

Stepfather Evicts OnlyFans Stepdaughter: “Not in My House”

Stepfather Evicts OnlyFans Stepdaughter: “Not in My House”

A no-nonsense stepfather drew a hard line after catching his 18-year-old stepdaughter filming explicit OnlyFans content in the family living room.

“I put her out. Case closed,” he said plainly.

The man explained he shares the home with younger children and refuses to expose them to adult content created under his roof. He discovered her shooting videos without even bothering to block out family photos on the wall.

“She’s not even smart to even block out the pictures. And then also, she got her siblings running around here. We’re not doing that,” he stated.

When his wife defended the daughter and threatened to leave too, the stepfather stood firm.

“Well, then you and your daughter can go. Both of y’all can have that kind of crazy mentality and leave, because we’re not doing that in this house at all. Not with kids around, not when I’m around.”

He made it clear the behavior crossed every boundary, especially since he is not the biological father.

“Do you think I wanna be around here watching my wife’s daughter in skimpy clothes twerking and doing unholy things in the house while I’m in here? The child was doing it while I was in the room.”

The stepfather emphasized personal responsibility and traditional family standards.

“This is not even my biological daughter… If I was her real father and I walk in the house and I seen that, knowing that another man was in the house, somebody’s gonna be bleeding and get hurt.”

He rejected the idea that turning 18 suddenly makes someone untouchable or entitled to turn a family home into a content studio.

“She could go get her own place and do that in the comfortability of her own home. You’re not doing that shit here… Why are we giving these kids so much leeway? And who told them that they was grown at 18 years old? They can’t pay no bills.”

The wife reportedly left with the daughter. The stepfather announced he is prepared for divorce rather than compromise his standards.

“I’m standing on my 10 toes… I don’t feel I’m wrong. Yes, I put her black ass out and she’s gonna stay out.”

In an age where platforms like OnlyFans push instant gratification and blurred boundaries, this father chose protection of his home, his younger kids, and basic decency over modern excuses. Good for him. Family comes first.

US-Israeli Strikes Hit Iran’s Crown Jewel South Pars Gas Field in Major Escalation

US-Israeli Strikes Hit Iran’s Crown Jewel South Pars Gas Field in Major Escalation

On March 18, 2026, Israeli forces, with coordination and approval from the US administration, struck processing facilities at Iran’s South Pars field—the world’s largest natural gas reserve and crown jewel of its energy sector, shared with Qatar.

Iranian state media reported damage to multiple gas treatment plants in Asaluyeh, with fires reported and several phases taken offline. The strikes mark the first direct hit on Iran’s most valuable upstream energy infrastructure since the conflict began.

Qatar condemned the action as dangerous and irresponsible, noting risks to shared resources and global energy security. Iran has threatened retaliation against Gulf energy sites, raising concerns over potential further disruption in the Strait of Hormuz.

Oil prices surged, with Brent crude climbing above $105 amid market unease. The move follows Iran’s earlier attacks on regional energy targets and comes as both sides intensify pressure on critical economic assets.

The strikes aim to degrade Iran’s ability to fund ongoing aggression, but carry clear risks of broader economic fallout across global gas and oil markets.

Guinean supporters demand the 1976 AFCON trophy awarded to Morocco

Guinean supporters demand the 1976 AFCON trophy awarded to Morocco

The recent decisions by the Confederation of African Football continue to spark reactions across the continent.

Following the withdrawal of the title from Senegal under circumstances considered similar, it is now Guinean supporters who are stepping forward to call for a revision of a historical episode.

Through social media and various sports discussion forums, these supporters argue that the 1976 Africa Cup of Nations should be awarded to Guinea.

They point to the final against Morocco, which was interrupted after the Moroccan team temporarily left the field to protest a referee decision, before returning to ultimately win.

According to these Guinean supporters, if CAF now applies retroactive sanctions for similar incidents, then the 1976 case should logically be reexamined.

Tehran Issues Ominous Warning  “Tonight, the Enemy’s Sky Will Be Worth Watching”

Tehran Issues Ominous Warning  “Tonight, the Enemy’s Sky Will Be Worth Watching”

Brigadier General Seyed Majid Mousavi, commander of the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), delivered a chilling statement that is sending shockwaves across the region, declaring: “Tonight, the enemy’s sky will be more worth watching.”

The warning comes just hours after Israel reportedly killed Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, along with Major General Gholam Reza Soleimani, leader of the Basij forces losses Tehran considers a direct strike at the “heart” of its power structure.

International analysts view the statement as a potential “green light” for a major escalation of Operation True Promise 4, possibly marking its most intense phase yet.

Iran is believed to be preparing large-scale waves of suicide drones and long-range precision missiles targeting strategic assets of both the United States and Israel in retaliation for Larijani’s killing.

USS Tripoli on the Move    U.S. Forces Shift Toward the Middle East Amid Rising Tensions

USS Tripoli on the Move    U.S. Forces Shift Toward the Middle East Amid Rising Tensions

The U.S. amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli has been detected via satellite data and maritime tracking systems transiting waters near Singapore after departing from Japan, now heading toward the Middle East.

The vessel is a key asset of the U.S. Navy, capable of carrying around 2,500 Marines, along with F-35B fighter jets for full-scale air operations and amphibious assault missions.

Its route passes through the Strait of Malacca one of the world’s most strategic maritime chokepoints before entering the Indian Ocean. This is more than just a transit… it’s a signal.

While U.S. warships typically disable AIS tracking during operations, the system remained active in this case due to heavy maritime traffic in the area, ensuring navigational safety.

Reports indicate this deployment comes as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate, with Washington not ruling out the possibility of deploying ground forces in a potential conflict with Iran.
