DEEP STATE BODY COUNT: UFO Scientists Dropping Like Flies as Trump Pushes for Full Disclosure
Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett is sounding the alarm on a disturbing pattern that’s impossible to ignore. Top scientists and military figures tied to aerospace, fusion, and materials research are turning up dead or vanished right as President Trump demands the release of classified UFO files.
“Something dark is going on,” Burchett warned. “I know these scientists and researchers. They have testified. We’ve got to get to the bottom of it. It’s just too much… And by the way, I’m not suicidal.”
The timing stinks. Trump’s push for transparency has the gatekeepers in a panic, and suddenly experts who know too much start disappearing.
The list is chilling:
Retired Air Force Maj. Gen. William Neil McCasland, a former commander with deep UFO program ties, vanished from his Albuquerque home on February 27, 2026, leaving behind his phone, glasses, and other essentials. Extensive searches have turned up nothing.
Aerospace and materials scientist Monica Reza disappeared while hiking in California’s Angeles National Forest on June 22, 2025. Still missing.
MIT fusion physicist Nuno Loureiro was gunned down in the foyer of his Brookline home in December 2025. The brilliant plasma expert died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Caltech astrophysicist Carl Grillmair was shot dead on his own porch in Llano, California, on February 16, 2026. A suspect was arrested, but the loss to advanced research is massive.
Novartis scientist Jason Thomas went missing in December 2025; his body was found months later.
Burchett says intelligence agencies are stonewalling his efforts to investigate these cases. The numbers in these niche fields are suspiciously high, and the deep state has every reason to keep the lid on breakthrough tech that could upend energy, defense, and everything in between.
This isn’t random tragedy. It’s a warning shot to anyone thinking about blowing the whistle on what the government really knows about UAPs. Trump is right to force the files out into the open. The American people deserve the truth, not more convenient “accidents” and cover-ups.
The swamp is fighting back dirty. Time to drain it completely and expose whatever they’re hiding before more patriots and pioneers pay the ultimate price.
REGIME IN HIDING: Tehran Checkpoints Stand Empty as Basij Militia Abandon Posts
Tehran’s once-feared security checkpoints are deserted. The Basij militia thugs who terrorized Iranian streets for decades have gone into hiding. The Islamic Republic’s iron grip is slipping right in the heart of its own capital.
Israeli intelligence and eyewitnesses on the ground confirm it: key checkpoints across Tehran sit unmanned. Normally crawling with armed enforcers ready to crush dissent, these posts are now ghost towns. The Basij — the regime’s brutal street-level muscle — have ditched their positions, sheltering in tunnels, under bridges, and safer hideouts out of fear of public rage and Israeli strikes.
No clear IRGC leadership remains visible on the ground. Just a panicked inner circle desperately trying to hold the crumbling chain of command together as it fractures under pressure from protests and precision attacks.
Exclusive footage shows the stark reality: empty barriers, no patrols, no enforcers. The same forces that gunned down protesters during the economic collapse riots are now nowhere to be seen in public. Some reports say they’re even waving white flags or tossing uniforms to blend in.
This comes amid nationwide fury fueled by the rial’s collapse, hyperinflation, crushing sanctions, and years of mismanagement. The mullahs’ revolutionary guard, once the regime’s unbreakable fist, is losing control of the very streets it ruled through fear and violence.
The Islamic Republic is unraveling in real time. A regime built on oppression cannot survive when its enforcers flee the battlefield they created.
Hundreds of cargo ships and oil tankers remain stranded in the Strait of Hormuz amid rising tensions
Reports indicate that hundreds of cargo vessels and oil tankers remain stranded within the Strait of Hormuz, as regional tensions continue to disrupt one of the world’s most critical energy shipping routes.
Aerial footage captured over Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) shows a large concentration of ships gathered in open waters, highlighting the growing impact on global maritime traffic and energy supply chains.
The Strait of Hormuz, bordered by Iran, the UAE, and Oman, is a vital chokepoint for global oil transportation, making the situation a key concern for international markets and security observers monitoring further developments.
Taiwan boycotts WTO meeting over “province of China” designation
Taiwan has withdrawn from a high-level World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting in Cameroon after being labeled as “a province of China” in official documents issued by the host country.
Taipei’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed it filed a formal protest, stating the designation was unacceptable. The documents prepared for Taiwan’s delegation ahead of the March 28–29 meeting triggered strong objections from the government.
Although Cameroon later attempted to resolve the issue by issuing visa exemption documents, Taiwan cited multiple irregularities, including missing nationality details, spelling errors in English names, and incorrect gender identification for several delegates.
Taiwan stated these issues demonstrate a lack of sincerity in addressing the matter and accused Cameroon of yielding to external influence.
It reiterated that it participates in the WTO as a “separate customs territory” with equal rights that must not be undermined.
As of now, neither the WTO nor China has issued an official response.
BREAKING: The NY Times just revealed that “drug camp” that Trump and Hegseth blew up in Ecuador was actually just a DAIRY FARM that had nothing to do with drug dealers!
In early March, the Trump administration surprised the world when it announced that it had bombed a drug trafficking base in Ecuador as it lashed out in a violent killing spree all over the world.
Like so many of the innocent fishermen who were murdered by Trump and Pete Hegseth’s boat bombings, the victims at this “drug camp” turned out to be dairy farmers, according to local residents.
The New York Times discovered that the video released by the Trump administration to highlight their murderous prowess actually showed a dairy farm that had been bombed by the Ecuadorean military.
The Times reports that “Ecuadorean soldiers arrived by helicopter on March 3, doused several shelters and sheds with gasoline and ignited them after interrogating workers and beating four of them with the butts of their guns. Three of the workers, who requested anonymity for fear of retaliation by the government, said the soldiers later choked and subjected them to electrical shocks before letting them go.”
“Village residents said Ecuadorean helicopters returned to the farm three days later, on March 6, and appeared to drop explosives on the farm’s smoldering remains. It was at that point, they said, that Ecuadorean soldiers recorded the footage that U.S. and Ecuadorean officials said captured the bombing of a traffickers’ compound.”
Hegseth’s Pentagon provided the Ecuadorean military with the false intelligence that this dairy farm was in fact a drug dealer camp.
The dairy farm’s owner, Miguel, told the Times he bought the 350-acre farm about six years ago for $9,000 and had a herd of 50 cows he used for milk and meat.
“He fought back tears as he explained what was there before: two wooden shelters, an outpost to make cheese, sheds for his equipment. The horse paddock was spared, but the chicken coop was gone,” reports the Times.
“It’s an outrage,” Miguel said, stepping over his dead chickens. “It’s a lie that 50 people trained here. Where are they going to train? Out here in the open? There’s no logic.”
.
Everywhere the Trump administration goes, needless death and violence follow, and the victims are almost always innocent people.
This poor man’s life was ruined by a fat pedophile and an alcoholic TV host thousands of miles away just so that some skinhead White House intern could make a meme for social media of things blowing up.
When this is all over, Trump and Hegseth need to be held accountable for every one of their crimes, and that list grows longer by the day. Poor Miguel definitely needs to file a lawsuit.
2026 is for HH, stop wasting money and focus on 2031, Kavindele tells opposition
By Angela Muchinshi FORMER vice-president Enock Kavindele says all those who want to take over from President Hakainde Hichilema in 2026 are simply wasting their time and money.
Kavindele also says Movement for National Renewal leader John Sangwa is not the first person to come up with the idea of people funding his party. [NEWSDIGGER]
FORMER PF Deputy Secretary General Brenda Nyirenda says MPs leaving the party to join the UPND are doing so out of greed.
Nyirenda says there is precedent in Parliament, and when one chooses to go against the party that supported them, it raises questions among the electorate.
Her comments follow the recent move by Kanchibiya PF MP Sunday Chanda, Mafinga PF MP Robert Chabinga and Isoka PF MP Marjorie Nakaponda to join the UPND.
In an interview, Nyirenda wondered why an MP would switch camps, leaving behind people who are suffering.
“For me, you know, we have this rule where we don’t talk about ourselves as members of parliament. It would be immoral for me to judge those people. But what I just want to state is, there’s precedence in Parliament, if you choose to go against the party that, you know, supported you, there’s always that question mark by the electorate.
It’s the people who vote for us who question if this person can’t be loyal to the people who gave them an adoption certificate to reach where [they] are. In this case, we are talking about not even burying [former president Edgar Lungu] ECL yet, then you start jumping [camp]. Here’s a situation like the old lady in Isoka [Marjorie Nakaponda]. That woman was an ambassador. From being an ambassador in PF, she became an MP, meaning that for the 10-year rule that the PF was in power, she was one of the beneficiaries,” she said.
“And today, she should jump camp and make all those people who are suffering to lose. What type of greediness can that be? I mean, there must be a time when you say thank you. But you can’t just throw away every good thing in the name of politics. Those people [MPs] are looking at how they can save themselves first.
This is what is happening. They have become too greedy. That is what I would say. How do you leave your children suffering without giving them proper direction? You have gone as long as I have passed, as long as I have crossed, the rest will also find their way. No, that’s not the way it’s supposed to be”.
Nyirenda said judgment is left in the hands of the electorate, as everyone is accountable to them.
“Anyway, I can’t say much because they have got their democratic right. And they have also got lenses which they are using to make the decisions [that] they are making. If those decisions are good, well and good. If they are not, we will see what the electorate is going to say.
At the end of the day, the judgment is with the electorate. All of us are submitting to the electorate. We will hear the results on the 13th of August. You and I will be waiting to reach a conclusion so that others in the future may not [mis]behave,” said Nyirenda.
SINKAMBA REJECTS EXPULSION CLAIMS FROM PEOPLE’S PACT
By Elizabeth Kayombo
Green Party President Peter Sinkamba has dismissed claims suggesting that he and his party have been expelled from the people’s Pact.
Speaking in an interview with KBN TV news, Mr Sinkamba added that expulsions in the movement cannot be conducted by non-registered members.
Earlier, Movement for Change and Equality President Kaluba Simuyemba said in his capacity as Pact acting Spokesperson, was announcing Mr Sinkamba’s expulsion for gross misconduct and intolerable behavior within the alliance.
But Mr Sinkamba says there is no such position of acting Spokesperson in the People’s Pact adding that he is the only one with the authority to speak on behalf of the Pact.
He has since accused Mr Simuyemba of being a sponsored masquerader without authority to expel anyone within the movement.
And Mr Sinkamba has further disclosed that it is actually the Green Party and the People’s Pact that have disassociated themsevles from the Socialist Party and the rest in the Pact.
He says he formally communicated to the Socialist Party and the rest of the members this morning that the party and alliance that he founded will no longer be in partnership with them.
ADVICE TO CURRENT MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT AND MINISTERS
Koswe Editorial We come in peace and not pieces. 98% of the current Members of parliament, Mayors, council Chairpersons and councillors will lose elections to either Independents or UPND would be newly adopted candidates.
But Koswe has heard that even some current Members of parliament have vowed to run as Independents in case their political parties don’t adopt them. Well. They will lose.
It is not surprising that voters are very comfortable with HH being President for another 5 years but people are extremely fatigued by their current Members of parliament including Ministers.
Our advice is that please don’t lose everything. Don’t lose your gratuity and elections. Better not to contest and keep your money.
To those who still want jobs since some people have taken political jobs as their survival or employment after retirement, they can still be rewarded jobs by HH if they decide not to contest but campaign for him.
We don’t think HH would decline giving a job to someone who openly announced that they were not running for office but would campaign for him. But some of these Members of Parliament and Ministers will even die quicker after elections shocker if they force themselves on people.
Otherwise pa ground pano people are openly saying that they will vote for HH but their current Members of parliament including Ministers bakamyanga zero.
Time-time, ECZ is just remaining with few days to announce the additional 70 constituencies elo in villages people have woken up and they are even saying these Ministers and Members of parliament only remember them when its election time but that this time around, people would rather vote for someone responsible enough.
Indeed whatever goes up must come down and if one has to continue being a nominated MP or be given a job as an Ambassador after August elections, they better start campaigning for HH now and drop their political and job seeking manners from voters who have clearly stated that they won’t vote for them.
Mundubile knows that he can’t win as an MP in Mporokoso no wonder he is positioning himself to be PF leader.
ZAMBIA is in the wrong hands and urgent corrective measures must be taken to end the suffering the people are enduring under the United Party for National Development (UPND), Leadership Movement (LM) president Dr Richard Silumbe has said.
Commenting on the latest Human Rights Watch (HRW) 2025 World Report on Zambia, Dr Silumbe said the country’s human rights record was far worse than what had been presented to the world, suggesting that the documented abuses represented only a fraction of what ordinary Zambians were experiencing on the ground.
He warned that the people of Zambia were in serious trouble under the current administration and that returning the UPND to power in August would be tantamount to placing the nation on death row.
“We are not surprised ourselves about that report. In fact, that report has hidden so much about the evil in the UPND government. A classic example of human rights abuses is the hacking of our members in Mbabala during the by-election last year,” he said.
Dr Silumbe said the UPND must not be allowed to continue in office beyond August 13, warning that a further term would plunge citizens into deeper problems from which recovery would be difficult.
“In fact, this report came out late. There is nothing we don’t know and have experienced in this report because all it speaks to is what is happening in our country and this is why we are pleading with the people of Zambia never to make another mistake in August by voting for bitter and angry people,” he said.
Dr Silumbe said the bitterness and divisiveness of the current leadership had made it difficult for Zambians to treat>>read more>>
Political activist Rudolf Mwanza has warned that the Patriotic Front –PF- risks being excluded from the August 2026 general elections if the party insists on recognizing lawyer Makebi Zulu as its president.
Mr. Mwanza argues that the party’s decision to hold a convention despite pending court cases contravenes the PF constitution, a move that led to the withdrawal of other presidential aspirants, including Willah Mudolo and Miles Sampa.
In an interview with Phoenix News, Mr. Mwanza states that Mr. Zulu’s leadership is weakened by the lack of support from other party leaders, which further undermines its chances.
He has emphasized that former Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili remains the most influential figure among the aspirants and would be a better choice for the PF if the party is to contest the upcoming elections effectively.
Meanwhile, PF Shiwang’andu Member of Parliament, Stephen Kampyongo says unity within the former ruling party can only be achieved through strict adherence to its constitution and the conclusion of all matters currently before the courts.
Mr. Kampyongo who has described as illegal the recently held convention which declared Mr. Zulu as winner, argues that the process did not meet the requirements set in the party constitution.
In an interview with Phoenix News, Mr. Kampyongo has maintained that convening a general conference before a judgement is delivered by the Court of Appeal is unlawful, adding that any such gathering lacks legal standing.

Trump claims 15-point agreement with Iran; Tehran says only draft via intermediaries
U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that Washington and Tehran have reached “common ground” on 15 key points, signaling what he described as major progress toward a potential agreement
However, Iranian officials have rejected the claim, stating that no formal negotiations have taken place.
According to a senior source within Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the United States has only delivered a set of proposals through intermediaries, which are currently under review
Trump disclosed just one of the alleged points of agreement, asserting that Iran has committed to not pursuing nuclear weapons, while adding that both sides are willing to reach a deal
Tehran, however, maintains that the process remains at a preliminary stage, describing it as early groundwork that may eventually lead to formal negotiations
No official joint confirmation has been issued by either side
Saudi Prince Urging Trump To Destroy Iranian Government
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has pushed President Donald Trump to continue the war in Iran, and urged him to go as far as destroying the government in Tehran, The New York Times reported Tuesday.
The newspaper’s report — based on people briefed by American officials on calls between Trump and the kingdom’s de facto ruler — comes as the president has swung from hinting at ending military action to ramping up pressure on the hardline regime.
Amid this uncertainty, Prince Mohammed has reportedly tried to convince Trump that the conflict presents a “historic opportunity” to remake the Middle East.
During their conversations, the crown prince has argued that allowing Iran to limp on as a failed state means it will continue to pose a threat to the security of the Gulf region, and that getting rid of the government is the only way to eliminate the danger.
Prince Mohammed is also said to have pressed for attacks against Iran’s energy infrastructure and argued the U.S. should consider putting boots on the ground to force the government out of power.
Iran vows to fight on until sanctions lifted, demands compensation; accuses Israel of blocking ceasefire
A senior military advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader has declared that the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel will continue until Iran receives full compensation for damages and all economic sanctions are lifted
Brigadier General Mohsen Rezaei stated that Iran will not back down unless there are legally binding international guarantees preventing future U.S. interference
He also claimed that the war “should have ended” more than a week ago, asserting that the United States had been ready to halt operations after realizing it could not win a prolonged conflict
Rezaei further accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of deliberately obstructing ceasefire efforts in order to prolong the war
The statements have not been independently verified, and no official response has yet been issued by U.S. or Israeli authorities
Iran’s New Boss Caves: Mojtaba Khamenei Green-Lights Secret Talks With Trump
Days after the U.S.-Israeli strikes that took out his father Ali Khamenei, Iran’s fresh Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has reportedly signed off on direct negotiations with the United States to hammer out a deal and end the fighting fast.
According to Al Arabiya, citing Israeli media, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi quietly told Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff that the younger Khamenei gave his blessing. The message: Tehran wants to wrap this up on its terms before things get even uglier.
This comes right after Trump slapped a five-day pause on hammering Iran’s energy sites and power plants, giving the regime breathing room while keeping the pressure on. Oil prices dipped on the news, but don’t pop the champagne yet.
Iran has denied direct talks before, and plenty of skeptics are calling this classic Middle East info warfare from Saudi and Israeli outlets. No official word from Tehran confirms it, and the regime’s track record is all bluster until the bombs start falling again.
Kim Jong Un slams US as “terrorist state” while North Korea removes “Socialist” from its Constitution
During a high-stakes session of the Supreme People’s Assembly, Kim Jong Un issued a blistering denunciation of Washington, appearing to target the ongoing U.S. conflict with Iran while simultaneously signaling a massive structural change at home.
Here is the breakdown of the “new national prestige” strategy revealed by North Korea today.
The “State Terrorism” Accusation
In a lengthy speech, Kim Jong Un didn’t hold back on his view of current global events:
• The Iran Reference: Kim labeled the U.S. a “dominationist” country currently carrying out “state terrorism,” an apparent nod to the U.S. military campaign against Iran.
• Nuclear Vow: He congratulated himself for recognizing Washington’s “unchangeable nature” and vowed that North Korea will “permanently and irreversibly” maintain its nuclear arsenal.
• Open to Talks? Despite the rhetoric, Kim noted he is “prepared to respond” if enemies choose “peaceful coexistence,” even as reports surface that President Trump has expressed interest in a new meeting.
The “Socialist” Scrub & Constitutional Revisions
Pyongyang surprised observers with a significant edit to its founding documents:
• The Name Change: The “Socialist Constitution” has been officially renamed, with the word “socialist” removed from the title.
• Hostile Neighbors: Kim reiterated that South Korea is the “most hostile state,” warning that any provocation will result in the South paying a “merciless” price.
• The New Police Force: In a move to “specialize” legal control, Kim ordered the transformation of the Ministry of Social Security into the country’s first formal “police” force.
Domestic Pivot: New Homes and Birth Rates
With his nuclear shield “consolidated,” Kim is pitching a focus on quality of life to his people:
• Massive Construction: A plan to build 370,000 new homes across the country, including 80,000 specifically for mining towns.
• The “Birth Rate” Problem: New policies on childcare and healthcare are being fast-tracked to encourage population growth, addressing what Kim previously called a “growing” problem.
• The Economy: While actual spending numbers remain a secret, Kim claimed the state is now directing more resources toward public welfare than ever before.
US Strikes Deep Inside Iran, Wipes Out Key Drone Engine Facility
In a sharp escalation of hostilities, the United States has launched precision airstrikes targeting a critical Iranian drone engine production facility, delivering a significant setback to Tehran’s unmanned warfare capabilities.
The strike reportedly destroyed a plant responsible for manufacturing engines and essential components used in Iran’s military drone program.
The targeted site was linked to Iran’s defense-industrial network and played a vital role in sustaining the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
These drones have become a cornerstone of Iran’s military strategy, enabling long-range strikes and regional power projection. The facility was believed to produce gas turbine engines and aviation components crucial for these systems.
Post-strike imagery indicates extensive destruction at the site, suggesting a highly accurate and effective operation. U.S. Central Command is said to have identified the facility as a key contributor to Iran’s drone capabilities, making it a priority target amid rising regional tensions.
This development comes as the broader conflict continues to intensify, with both sides expanding their operational reach. The destruction of such a facility could disrupt Iran’s drone production pipeline, at least in the short term, potentially impacting its operational tempo across multiple fronts.
The strike highlights Washington’s continued focus on degrading Iran’s military infrastructure, particularly its rapidly advancing drone program.
Saudi Analyst Drops Bombshell: Iran Is the Real Middle East Menace – and Pakistan’s Nukes Could Back Riyadh
A top Saudi geopolitical analyst just delivered a blunt wake-up call on Canadian TV.
In a March 20, 2026, CBC News interview, Salman Al-Ansari named Iran – not Israel – as the region’s number one destabilizer. He warned that if Saudi Arabia jumps fully into the fight against the ayatollahs, it will trigger its September 2025 mutual defense pact with nuclear-armed Pakistan.
That pact is crystal clear: aggression against one is aggression against both. Al-Ansari didn’t mince words – Iran would be the biggest loser, because Riyadh could call on Islamabad’s roughly 170-warhead nuclear arsenal for a de facto nuclear umbrella.
This isn’t abstract talk. The Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement, signed last September in Riyadh by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistan’s prime minister, locks in joint deterrence against any threat. It’s a hard-power reality check after years of Iranian proxies, missiles, and chaos sowing death across the Gulf and beyond.
Conservatives have long argued that weakness invites aggression. The mullahs’ regime has spent decades exporting terror, arming Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas while chanting death to America, Israel, and the Sunni Gulf states. Now even Saudi voices are admitting the obvious: Iran is the aggressor, the troublemaker, the force that won’t stop until it’s stopped.
Pakistan’s involvement would widen the battlefield dramatically – a Sunni nuclear power potentially aligned against Shia revolutionary Iran. That’s a seismic shift. It exposes how isolated the ayatollahs have become, even among fellow Muslims.
The lesson for the West is simple and tough: Strength deters. Decades of failed appeasement, cash infusions, and weak red lines only emboldened Tehran. Real peace comes from backing reliable partners who refuse to tolerate radical Islamists bent on domination.
Iran’s regime is cornered and dangerous. Riyadh is signaling it’s ready to act if pushed – with serious backup. The free world should take note: the days of letting Iran destabilize everything while hiding behind proxies are ending.
Two Indian-flagged LPG carriers exit Strait of Hormuz under naval escort
Two Indian-flagged LPG carriers, Jag Vasant and Pine Gas, are reported to have exited the Strait of Hormuz carrying over 92,000 tons of LPG cargo belonging to Pine Gas
Reports indicate that the vessels are carrying 33 and 27 Indian crew members respectively. The departure follows a reported payment of $2 million made by Indian authorities to Iran
The Indian Navy has deployed guided-missile destroyers INS Kochi (D64) and INS Chennai (D65), both Kolkata-class warships, to escort the vessels through the Strait of Hormuz
The ships are en route to India and are expected to arrive between March 26–28. No incidents have been reported during the transit so far
Few people know that Barack Obama almost never became a senator.
And without John Kerry, the story of modern America might have looked completely different.
In early 2004, Obama was a little-known Illinois state senator running for a U.S. Senate seat that most party insiders privately considered a long shot. The race was complicated, crowded, and underfunded. Washington wasn’t paying close attention.
Then John Kerry, the Democratic presidential nominee, made a decision that changed everything.
Kerry personally selected Obama to deliver the keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. Kerry’s team had reviewed dozens of candidates. Obama was the unexpected choice, relatively unknown outside Illinois, without a national profile or a powerful donor network behind him.
What almost nobody discusses is the private pressure that came with that invitation. Obama spent weeks writing and rewriting the speech himself, refusing to let consultants sanitize it into political mush. He insisted the speech had to be honest, personal, and real or it would be nothing at all.
On July 27, 2004, Barack Obama walked onto that stage and delivered seventeen minutes that rewrote his entire future.
He spoke about his Kenyan father, his Kansas mother, his belief in an America that was not red or blue but simply human. The crowd went silent in the way crowds only go silent when someone is saying exactly what they needed to hear.
By the time he walked off that stage, Barack Obama was no longer a long shot. He was a phenomenon.
Kerry won nothing that November. But what he gave Obama that summer was something no campaign strategy could manufacture: a national stage before the country was watching, and the quiet belief that this young man was ready for it.
Sometimes the person who changes history is not the one holding the spotlight. Sometimes it is the one who decides where to point it.
VW to shift from cars to missile production for Israel
Volkswagen is reportedly in talks to shift part of its production toward missile-defense components in partnership with , a move that could mark a major transition from civilian manufacturing into the global arms industry.
While no final agreement has been confirmed, the discussions have already sparked global debate.
The development also brings renewed attention to ’s past. Founded in 1937 under the Nazi regime, the company was closely aligned with ’s industrial vision. During , its factories were repurposed for military production and relied on forced labor.
https://youtu.be/GddbTDzW68M?si=6E02yK-OF83wFbOq
Today, the possibility of Volkswagen once again becoming linked to military production is raising ethical questions worldwide, as industries across Europe increasingly shift toward defense amid rising geopolitical tensions.
AKA’s Father Tony Forbes Expresses “Extreme Disappointment” Over CCTV Footage Aired at Madlanga Commission
The father of late award-winning rapper AKA, Tony Forbes, has expressed his “extreme disappointment” over the airing of his son’s final moments during proceedings at the Madlanga Commission last week.
The commission played CCTV footage capturing the murder of Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, alongside his close friend, celebrity chef and entrepreneur Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
Seven suspects have since been arrested in connection with the murders, which sent shockwaves across South Africa.
AKA and Tibz were gunned down outside a restaurant on Florida Road in Durban on February 10, 2023, in what police have described as a targeted hit. While authorities confirmed that hitmen were allegedly paid to carry out the attack, the motive has not yet been publicly disclosed.
In a letter addressed to the commission, Forbes said that while he appreciates the work being done, the decision to broadcast the footage was careless and showed a lack of consideration for the family.
He is now seeking a formal explanation from the commissioners regarding the decision.
The footage was presented during the testimony of Gauteng Organised Crime Unit officer Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, who claimed to have worked on the case before it was later taken over by the KwaZulu-Natal Political Killings Task Team.
Among those accused are brothers Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande, who are key suspects in the case.
The pair allegedly fled South Africa and hid in Eswatini before being extradited back to the country in November 2025.
They are currently facing 24 charges, including murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful possession of firearms.
According to reports, Siyabonga Ndimande is alleged to have coordinated the firearms and the getaway vehicle, while Malusi Ndimande is accused of carrying out the fatal shooting.
U.S. Hammers Iran with Ground-Launched Missiles While Talking Peace
American forces unleashed ATACMS and Precision Strike Missiles from Kuwaiti soil against Iranian military targets as part of Operation Epic Fury, with the advanced PrSM making its combat debut via HIMARS launchers. This marks a bold escalation using Army ground systems deep into enemy territory.
At the same time, Pakistan is pushing mediated talks between the U.S. and Iran in Islamabad. President Trump had called for a five-day pause in operations to give diplomacy a chance, yet these ground strikes from allied bases send a very different message: strength first, negotiations second.
The timing raises hard questions about mixed signals, but the facts on the ground are clear. U.S. precision firepower is systematically dismantling Iranian missile sites, naval assets, and production facilities, proving America will not tolerate threats to its forces or regional allies.
Compounding the chaos, Iranian retaliation struck Qatar’s massive North Field LNG complex, knocking out 17 percent of the world’s top LNG producer’s capacity.
Qatar Energy has now declared force majeure on long-term supplies to Italy, Belgium, South Korea, and China, with repairs potentially dragging on for years and billions in lost revenue.
This is the real cost of Iranian aggression: higher energy prices, disrupted global markets, and a stark reminder that weakness invites chaos. America is hitting back hard, protecting its interests without apology. Peace through strength isn’t just talk; it’s working.
Iran Flaunts Hidden Missiles and Drones as War Escalates
Iran has released dramatic new footage from deep within its underground military network, describing the display as only “the tip of the iceberg.” The video reveals fortified tunnel systems packed with advanced missiles, naval drones, and sea mines, highlighting the scale of its hidden arsenal.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed its 75th wave of retaliatory strikes under “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli positions and the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.
Iran also showcased suicide drone boats designed to disrupt shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical النفط transit routes. Officials warned that in the event of full escalation, their capabilities could severely impact global trade and drive oil prices as high as $200 per barrel.
The show of force comes amid ongoing tensions with Israel and the United States, despite Washington’s claims that Iran’s military resources are being depleted.
Tehran maintains that its strategic reserves remain intact and far more extensive than publicly known, signaling that the conflict may be far from reaching its peak.
My husband deserves where he is today—he called it upon himself—but he does not deserve to be denied from me. I am still his wife, the woman who loves him deeply and longs for his presence every single day.
I humbly appeal to the Government of Equatorial Guinea: please allow us to see each other, to be together as husband and wife. Separation has not only been painful, it has been unbearable. Denying him from getting to see me is putting his emotional needs in prison too.

MBS to Trump: Crush Iran’s Regime Now – It’s a Once-in-a-Lifetime Shot
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is privately hammering President Trump to keep pounding Iran and finish the job for good.
According to the New York Times, MBS sees the ongoing U.S.-Israeli campaign as a historic opportunity to reshape the Middle East by dismantling Tehran’s murderous regime once and for all.
He has told Trump in multiple calls that Iran is a long-term cancer threatening the entire Gulf, and the only cure is getting rid of the current government. MBS is pushing for escalated strikes, including U.S. troops on the ground to seize Iran’s energy infrastructure and force the ayatollahs out.
This comes as the war nears its one-month mark, with oil prices already spiking above $120 a barrel and global markets feeling the heat.
Saudi officials quickly denied the report, but the leaked details paint a clear picture: Riyadh wants America to do the heavy lifting to eliminate their biggest rival.

Multiple buildings appear heavily damaged, with fires breaking out in several locations and parts of structures collapsing
Preliminary reports indicate a number of casualties, including both injuries and fatalities, as rescue teams and emergency services continue search and assistance operations on the ground
However, the full extent of the damage, as well as confirmed casualty figures, has not yet been officially verified by authorities
The situation remains highly tense, with ongoing developments expected
Trump Sends Marine Strike Force into CENTCOM to Crush Iran’s Hormuz Chokehold
US Navy amphibious ships USS Tripoli and USS New Orleans, loaded with roughly 2,200 battle-hardened Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, are powering straight into CENTCOM’s area of responsibility this week.
These Marines pack real punch — attack helicopters, landing craft, and the speed to storm shores if ordered.
They’re reinforcing carrier strike groups already pounding Iranian positions while the mullahs keep the Strait of Hormuz locked down, choking global oil supplies and holding the world hostage.
President Trump has zero tolerance for this blackmail. He’s openly eyeing control of Iran’s Kharg Island, the oil export lifeline that moves nearly all of Tehran’s crude. No more letting radical Islamists dictate energy prices or attack shipping with impunity.
This is peace through overwhelming strength. With Marines positioned in CENTCOM waters and carriers on station, Iran now faces serious consequences for closing the strait and provoking America. The regime’s disruption game is over. The United States is locked and loaded.
A lawyer has urged the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) to stop Dickson Jere from educating the public free of charge because she believes it is taking away business from lawyers.
She argues that his frequent social media posts on court judgments amount to free legal advice.
According to her, this practice undermines the sustainability of legal practice in the country.
The lawyer says members of the public now access professional insights without paying consultation fees.
She explained that even her husband follows Jere’s articles and praises them for their educational value.
“We suffered through ZIALE training, and it is unfair for someone to give away legal advice for free. Lawyers depend on consultation fees even for talk time,” the lawyer insisted
She believes that distributing legal knowledge for free diminishes the value of licensed practitioners.
Her submission calls on LAZ to deliberate on whether Jere’s conduct aligns with professional ethics.
When reached for a comment, Lawyer Dickson Jere said he has no comment on the matter unless he is written to officially by LAZ.
FRED M’MEMBE WARNS OF SHAM ELECTIONS DUE TO OPPOSITION RESTRICTIONS
By Justina Matandiko
Socialist Party President Dr. Fred M’membe has warned that Zambia risks holding what he describes as “sham elections” ahead of the august polls, citing restrictions on opposition political activities.
Speaking on Phoenix FM’s “Let the People Talk” program this morning, Dr. M’membe has alleged that opposition parties are being prevented from freely engaging citizens, with his party struggling to secure permits for public rallies.
Dr. M’membe has revealed that he has applied for permits 34 times since 2021 without success, warning that such restrictions undermine democratic participation and could lead to a disputed electoral process.
When asked about opposition unity, Dr. M’membe acknowledged that it is challenging but stressed that collaboration is possible with commitment and willingness from all stakeholders.
EDITORIAL | Mundubile’s 300,000 Jobs Promise: Where Ambition Meets Arithmetic
Zambian politics has long struggled with a dangerous habit. Grand promises are announced with confidence, often built on large numbers that sound impressive but are rarely interrogated with the seriousness they deserve. Brian Mundubile’s proposal of creating 300,000 jobs through farming blocks fits squarely within this pattern, and it demands a more disciplined, numbers-driven examination.
At the centre of his argument is a simple equation. Each farming block, estimated at 100,000 hectares, is projected to generate up to 25,000 jobs, and when multiplied across 10 to 12 blocks, the figure rises to between 250,000 and 300,000 jobs. On the surface, this appears bold and visionary, but economic policy cannot be built on surface impressions alone. The deeper question is whether this arithmetic reflects how modern agriculture actually functions.
Agriculture at that scale is not labour-heavy in the way being suggested. Large commercial farming operations are driven by mechanisation, efficiency and output per hectare, not by mass employment. The more advanced and productive a farming system becomes, the fewer workers it requires relative to its size, because machines replace repetitive human labour and reduce operational costs.
This is where the numbers begin to lose coherence. A 100,000-hectare mechanised farming block employing 25,000 people would represent an unusually labour-intensive model that contradicts global agricultural trends. Even if one expands the definition to include indirect employment in transport, processing and services, the projection still stretches beyond what is realistically achievable without significantly compromising productivity.
The issue is not only about feasibility but also about clarity. What types of jobs are being counted within that 25,000 figure per block? Are these permanent, skilled positions or seasonal, low-wage labour roles tied to planting and harvesting cycles? Without clear definitions, the number becomes politically attractive but economically ambiguous, and ambiguity is not a foundation for policy.
There is also the broader context of Zambia’s labour market to consider. The country is dealing with a deep and structural youth unemployment challenge that runs into the millions. Even if the 300,000 jobs were realised, which remains highly uncertain, the impact would still be limited relative to the scale of the problem, making the proposal insufficient as a standalone solution.
Financing presents an even more serious constraint. Developing 10 to 12 fully functional agro-industrial blocks is not a modest undertaking but a capital-intensive programme requiring billions of dollars. Roads, irrigation systems, energy infrastructure, storage facilities, processing plants and communication networks must all be built and maintained, and these are not costs that can be absorbed casually by a fiscally constrained government.
The question of funding cannot be avoided. Zambia is currently navigating debt restructuring, managing public expenditure pressures and absorbing external shocks such as rising fuel prices driven by geopolitical instability in the Middle East. In such an environment, any serious proposal must clearly outline how resources will be mobilised, whether through public financing, private sector partnerships or blended investment models.
Beyond money, there is the issue of technical capacity and execution. Agro-industrial development at scale requires coordinated systems, experienced management, strong supply chains and reliable market access, all of which Zambia has historically struggled to sustain. Farming blocks have existed as policy concepts for years, yet many remain underutilised or stalled due to implementation challenges.
This is why the burden of proof shifts back to the proponent. If this model is to succeed now, what exactly will be done differently compared to previous attempts? What institutional reforms, policy guarantees and operational frameworks will ensure that these blocks move from paper to productivity?
Mundubile’s critique of existing agricultural support systems, particularly the limitations of FISP, is not without merit. There are legitimate concerns about dependency, inefficiency and the absence of a clear graduation pathway for small-scale farmers. However, replacing one system with another requires a detailed transition strategy, not just a conceptual alternative.
The global environment further complicates the proposal. Agriculture today operates within a volatile framework shaped by climate change, fluctuating input costs, fertiliser supply constraints and shifting commodity markets. Any credible agricultural policy must engage with these external variables and incorporate resilience mechanisms, yet this dimension is largely absent from the current proposal.
What emerges, therefore, is a familiar political pattern. The scale of the promise is large, but the structure beneath it remains underdeveloped. Zambian voters are increasingly aware of this gap, and there is a growing demand for policies that are not only ambitious but also technically grounded and financially viable.
Mundubile’s challenge is not simply to propose ideas but to demonstrate credibility. Having served in government, his proposals are inevitably measured against his past record, and that history raises legitimate questions about why similar interventions were not implemented earlier. Political reinvention is possible, but it must be supported by clear evidence of learning and structural change.
Ultimately, the issue is not whether Zambia needs agricultural transformation. It does, urgently. The issue is whether this particular proposal meets the standard required to deliver it, and at present, the answer remains uncertain.
RE: RESPONSE TO REMARKS BY MR. ENOCK KAVINDELE ON THE 2026 GENERAL ELECTIONS
The Tonse Alliance has taken note of remarks attributed to former Vice President, Mr. Enock Kavindele, as reported by Diggers News, suggesting that the outcome of the 2026 General Elections is already predetermined.
The Tonse Alliance wishes to state, in the strongest terms, that such assertions are misplaced, speculative, and inconsistent with the principles of democratic governance.
While Mr. Kavindele is entitled to his personal views, it must be emphasized that he represents one vote among millions of Zambians. His opinion, therefore, cannot be elevated to a national conclusion in the absence of credible data, research, or verifiable public sentiment.
Zambia is a constitutional democracy where leadership is determined through a competitive electoral process. Elections are not decided by commentary, preference, or assumption, but by the sovereign will of the people expressed through the ballot.
The suggestion that opposition participation in the 2026 elections is a waste of time and resources undermines the very foundation of democratic engagement. It is both inappropriate and regrettable that such a position would be advanced by a statesman of Mr. Kavindele’s standing.
The Tonse Alliance has not seen any credible research, polling data, or empirical evidence to support the claim that the 2026 electoral outcome is already decided. In the absence of such evidence, such statements remain speculative and risk misleading the public.
We wish to reaffirm that the Tonse Alliance is fully committed to participating in the 2026 General Elections. Our participation is guided by our belief in democratic competition, accountability, and the right of citizens to choose their leaders freely.
We further emphasize that:
Leadership must be earned through performance and trust
Mandates must be renewed through democratic choice
Power must remain subject to the will of the people
The Tonse Alliance remains confident that Zambians will make their decision based on lived realities, governance outcomes, and credible alternatives presented before them.
We therefore encourage all citizens and political actors to uphold democratic principles, promote constructive engagement, and respect the intelligence and sovereignty of the Zambian people.
The future of Zambia will not be determined by opinion. It will be determined by the people.

Breaking News : Iran Hardens Negotiation Stance, Demands Security Guarantees, Compensation, and Strategic Control
Iran has adopted a significantly tougher position ahead of any potential negotiations, laying out a series of major preconditions that signal a shift toward a more rigid diplomatic approach amid ongoing regional tensions.
According to credible reporting, Iranian officials are insisting on binding guarantees against any future military attacks, alongside financial compensation for damages incurred during recent hostilities. In addition, Tehran is seeking greater control or strategic influence over the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical energy transit chokepoints.
Crucially, Iran has also rejected any proposals to limit or scale back its ballistic missile program, maintaining that its missile capabilities are non-negotiable and essential for national defense. This position directly challenges long-standing demands from Western powers, particularly the United States, which has consistently pushed for restrictions on Iran’s missile development as part of any broader agreement.
The hardened stance indicates that Iran is entering any prospective talks from a position of leverage, tying negotiations not only to nuclear or military concerns but also to broader strategic and security outcomes. This could significantly complicate diplomatic efforts and reduce the likelihood of a quick breakthrough in ongoing mediation attempts.
The developments come at a time of heightened tensions in the Middle East, with ongoing conflict dynamics shaping the conditions under which any negotiations might take place.
US President Donald Trump’s claim that the US has renewed discussions with Tehran might be a move to calm markets as oil prices surge, former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Joel Rubin
Rubin said he “wouldn’t be surprised” if the US was in touch with Iranian officials.
“But they may not be talking to anybody quite frankly, and just be moving to try to signal to markets to calm down,” he added.
“The president understands that prices for gas are going up and that a glut of oil through the Strait of Hormuz is building, and he needs to do something to try to slow that down,” Rubin said.
Trump had said that renewed discussions with Tehran began soon after he threatened to bomb Iran’s energy infrastructure. Then he said he would postpone the strikes.
Iran has denied any dialogue with Washington, dismissing Trump’s claims as an attempt to lower energy prices and buy time for military plans, several Iranian state-affiliated media outlets reported citing the foreign ministry.
THE US AND NATO FORCES HAVE FULLY EVACUATED VICTORIA BASE IN BAGHDAD AFTER COMING UNDER HEAVY FIRE FROM PRO IRANIAN MILITIAS AND IRANIAN MISSILES AND DRONES.
Iraq-Iranian affiliates announced bounties of any American kill there is a reward either to the person who does the killing or to the next of kin family line. This announcement raised security risks for all Americans in Iraq and the excitement of public interest to volunteer as suicide bombers.
Coupled with relentless strikes of Iranian missiles at the US Embassy and many Western outposts security was highly compromised. American officials would now not move freely or meet freely but in hiding mainly in hotels.
At its peak, the Victoria base housed 46,000 personnel, functioned like a self-contained city and was one of America’s LARGEST foreign bases in the middle East.
Coalition advisors also withdrew from operations command and support camp in Iraq, relocating to Jordan.
“On their way out, the Americans detonated light & medium-sized equipment shortly before leaving to avoid equipment and technologies getting into Iranian hands.
Breaking News : Iran Launches Multiple Waves of Missiles at Israel, Rejects Trump’s Negotiation Claims as “Fake News”
Iran has launched multiple waves of missile strikes targeting Israel, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing confrontation between the two adversaries. The attacks come amid heightened regional tensions and continued exchanges of threats and military activity.
According to reports, Iranian officials dismissed claims made by former US President Donald Trump regarding possible negotiations as “fake news,” firmly denying that any diplomatic engagement is currently underway. Tehran has maintained that it is not pursuing talks under the present circumstances, signaling a hardline stance as the conflict intensifies.
The missile barrages were described as part of a broader retaliatory or strategic operation, with Iran demonstrating its ability to sustain repeated strikes over time. The scale and frequency of these launches underline the seriousness of the escalation and raise concerns about further destabilization across the Middle East.
Israeli authorities have responded by activating air defense systems and assessing the impact of the incoming strikes. While interception efforts are ongoing, the situation remains fluid, with both sides appearing prepared for continued confrontation.
The development comes at a time of already fragile regional security, with global powers closely monitoring the situation. Iran’s outright rejection of negotiation narratives, combined with its continued missile operations, suggests that diplomatic de-escalation may not be imminent.
Breaking News : Kim Jong Un Declares Nuclear Arsenal ‘Irreversible’, Rejects Any Disarmament Deal
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has reaffirmed that his country will continue strengthening its nuclear weapons program, declaring that its nuclear status is now “irreversible” and not open to negotiation under any circumstances.
Speaking at a session of North Korea’s Supreme People’s Assembly, Kim made it clear that Pyongyang will not consider abandoning its nuclear arsenal in exchange for economic benefits or security guarantees. He emphasized that nuclear weapons remain the ultimate safeguard for the country’s sovereignty and regime survival.
Kim’s remarks underline a hardened strategic posture, signaling that North Korea sees no viable scenario in which it would trade away its nuclear deterrent. The statement reflects a broader doctrine in Pyongyang that views nuclear capability as essential in an increasingly unstable global security environment.
While recent global conflicts, including rising tensions involving the United States and its allies, are widely seen by analysts as reinforcing North Korea’s position, Kim’s speech itself focused on long-term national defense policy rather than referencing any single conflict directly.
This declaration effectively shuts the door on future denuclearization negotiations in the near term and is expected to heighten concerns in Washington, Seoul, and Tokyo over regional stability and nuclear proliferation risks.
Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu declares state of emergency after Iranian missile strike leaves dozens injured…
There have been recent Iranian missile strikes on Israel, resulting in a significant number of injuries.
Iranian missiles struck the southern Israeli cities of Dimona and Arad, injuring over 100 people, including children. The strikes are reported to be in retaliation for an alleged Israeli-US attack on Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility. There were also reports of missile impacts near Tel Aviv.
The number of injuries reported varies across different sources, with some reporting over 100 and others as high as 180. Tragically, at least one person has been reported killed in the strikes.
Following the attacks, Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, declared a state of emergency across the country. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has addressed the attacks, stating that Israel has suffered “a difficult evening” and vowing to “continue to strike our enemies on all fronts.”
There were false rumors about Prime Minister Netanyahu’s well-being, which he has since publicly debunked. He visited the site of a previous missile strike in Beit Shemesh and has been vocal about Israel’s military operations.
The United Nations Security Council held an emergency session to address the escalating crisis. The United States has also been involved, with some reports mentioning joint military operations with Israel.
Saudi Arabia Joins the Fight: Iran’s Aggression Backfires Big Time
Saudi Arabia has had enough. The kingdom just greenlit U.S. forces at King Fahd Air Base and is days away from launching offensive strikes against Iran, according to the Wall Street Journal.
This comes right after Riyadh’s air defenses blasted 15 Iranian drones out of the sky over the eastern region in a single hour. Iran’s proxies and direct attacks have shattered any hope of peace.
For years, Tehran played a dirty game: arming Houthis and militias to harass neighbors while hiding behind deniability. That strategy just created a ring of enemies it will face for generations. The 2023 China-brokered detente? Dead. Trust with the Saudis is gone.
Gulf states like the UAE are edging closer too. This isn’t some limited scrap anymore. It’s turning into a full Sunni coalition backed by American firepower against Iran’s regime of terror and disruption.
The mullahs poked the bear one too many times. Now oil infrastructure is at risk, prices are already spiking past $113 a barrel, and the region could explode into wider chaos. Weakness invites aggression. Strength ends it.
Iran’s survival playbook of punishing everyone around it is blowing up in its face. Time to finish the job and restore real deterrence.
